K.Super convenient location nice pies and good pricing on petrol
J.Great place to refuel car and body. The most beautiful Smoked Fish Pies homemade in store, fabulous! Great service and a pretty place, drive out to the scenic viewpoint and eat your pie looking over the waterway.
M.Expensive gas but understandable being off the beaten track. By far the cheapest in that area. They make up for it in great service. The young guy behind the counter had my husband and I in hysterics! His laugh was hilarious. Great to see service with a smile at a service station.
Great coffee at the cafe next door also.
A.These guys are amazing. My 2WD Toyota got stuck in mud around 8 PM, and as there were no tow companies in the area open that late, we went to the gas station for help. Despite the fact that they were closing up, they generously gave their time, their pick-up and chain to pull my car out of the mud. These are good people - help them out!
P.Very good local service station with petrol at reasonable prices. Cafe attached serving good coffee (local Northland brand) and food such as burgers. Also sells awesome Manuka honey dark chocolate! Friendly staff.
E.We didn't come for gas, but we stopped to do our laundry. Also had a meal at the cafe as well. The chicken & mushroom pie was the best I had in NZ; and we've been travelling for a month already.

F.GAS Omapere is halfway between Rawene Gas station and Waimamaku petrol station, approx 20 minutes apart. Good supplier of snacks and drinks etc plus motoring requirements.
Is known to run out of petrol however, so travelers be warned.
W.Stopped for food, really impressed with the service & quality of the meal. Best chips EVER!! Friendly cheerful & helpful staff. Highly recommended
