Very well priced, perfect for beginner to moderate golfers. Usually slower than average to play round, so expect a 5hr, 18-hole round.

Takapuna golf course serves well to busy Aucklanders being in the reasonably central location with nice facility. Little wet in winter and can be very busy when weather is fine.

Its a public course and cheap green fees so you have to expect slow play at times. But overall a nice golf experience and not to taxing for the average casual golfer. Nice level course.

Great to see people out and about and enjoying a hit. A good mix of ages too. A beautiful day and lovely surroundings.

Great facility that has everything you need to learn, practice & play the game. Suitable for newcomers, beginners & experienced golfers.

Not a bad course. Was putting for eagle on the 7th and ended up four-putting for bogey, otherwise would rate 5 stars.

Nice fit out but about time to replace their balls at the range.

Pretty good driving range. Prices are reasonable and the drivers, though not high quality, are all in good condition which is nice.

Staff are generally very friendly and the course is pretty well looked after

Just won it big and wanted to celebrate. Dropped in and they said they were full so we came back in 30 minutes and they had a spot for us. Never played golf before but it was a good time, didn't feel judged by the regulars around me. Was able to have a good laugh with the boys. Could have done with a table and chairs but honestly it was fine without it

Staff over last few years very unfriendly. Also as public course it used to be best but now people using course donot seem to know rules a group of four should let a group of two play yhrough if you intend on having drink or rest what has gappened to course manager.

Good public course without hills and minimal water. Cheap and cheerful, but a few trickery dog leg holes. Bar and eating place at the 19th, and there’s a driving range and practice green. Good value for a middle of the city public course

Great course for midweek golf and twilight. Can be busy on weekends in peak season.

Public Golf Course While some improvents have been made to help speed up the game the greens at the moment (Jan 2022) are possibly in the worst condition in memory and could possibly reflect the high use over the past few months The 2 new sand bunkers on the 18th have difficult access and the dislodged makeshift steps on one of them is going to cause someone an injury-just grade out an access Although prices have risen recently it is still a good venue for the average player

Hey its a great little course keeping everything in perspective dollar for dollar it's excellent value for a round of golf. Very helpful staff in the pro shop. Cafe is not the Ritz but good food, friendly service & value for money. I'd play Takapuna again in heartbeat.

Facilities are great - been there 4 times lately, only once can I say staff were friendly - other times feels like it's a hassle or inconvenience

Decent value for money course with enough tight holes to test you. Quite a few doglegs, some water filled ditches and lakes coupled with small greens. Short and not too hilly but pleasant way to spend 4 hours. Driving range next door plus they are working on improving course.

Can get busy at times as a lot of people come here to golf first time, but people are always okay with playing through or asking if they can. Fairly standard pub food offerings with some legit Asian influence to spice things up. Carts are available, which speeds up the game so you can jump onto the 19th early.

This is a great ground to play on, even after heavy rain it doesn't get muddy. Green fees are very affordable if you don't want to play all 18 holes you can do 9 or even just hit the driving range. Their golf carts are well kept and only cost $40 but you must book these in advance. You can book a tee off time online but I personally find it easier to book in person. They do have a 19th hole. It's well stocked and the food is pretty decent too. If you don't have clubs not to worry you can hire them here too. It is the best public golf course I have been on.

Been here many times and its always busy which means its popular. Was here to use the driving range, no hassles just pay and told your lane, chose 100 balls and straight into it. Staff seem nice enough too. The cafe is licensed and ok price.

Best public golf course in the country. New owners over the past two years have really set it up nice and its well groomed. Restaurant and bar stay open late for those after twilight round drinks. Everything you need to indulge your golfing passion

A public golf club located just next to motorway 1. Well maintained courses in reasonable price which makes,easy to come for all kind players. It also has a club house serves authentic Korean dishes and western dishes. It slso has fully automated driving range with more than 50 seats.

I played the course in November 2015. An enjoyable round, some holes were a little challenging (I have an 18 handicap) but nicely laid out and in good condition. Good value and good for a public course. I would recomend to any visitors.

What a fun place to spend an hour.. Smacking tiny yellow balls with a stick.. Very therapeutic. Great facility.

Nice course, can be painful when a slow group decides to play even slower, but who cares your golfing mate!!! Front 9 flat and easy to get a few pars up your sleeve before hiring the back 9 and dropping a few shots. 15 (I think) go for it but avoid the water and you’ll be sitting fine for that birdie or eagle.

Driving range is awesome, especially on a day with good weather. Upstairs is a good place to sit and watch the golf balls fly also. Would have given five stars if it was a little cheaper.

This is a great venue to hone your skills. I always enjoy time spent at the driving range. The balls are in good condition and they are inexpensive.

Pleasant enough course. It's never very crowded. In winter it can get quite wet and slushy. Good driving range that is open late also.

Course is ok, but the driving range is terrible. Go to Golf Warehouse over in Takapuna, far better and less likely to destroy your clubs!

The set up is amazing, only have a go on there driving range, I am a lousy golfer but the whole place is great don't know about club house
