My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago. Accommodation was clean, the king size bed was comfortable & the location was so central to everything. 2 weeks later we stayed for 2 more nights, we rang 2 reception to say we were running a little late & the lady was understanding & lovely. Parking is a little tight if you have a big vehicle. We would certainly stay again & highly recommend anyone to Boulcott Lodge. Grant & Jamie

We prefer to stay here when in Wellington. Very comfortable rooms with everything we need, great location, spotlessly clean. The staff are warm and welcoming, nothing is too much bother for them! We often arrive late in the evening, their late check in process is easy. Definitely recommend.

Really tidy self contained unit and very comfortable beds. Plenty if living space as well and the proprietor was absolutely lovely. We'll worth the money to stay here.

We stayed in an accessible studio unit for 9 nights. A lovely and modern motel with an equally lovely host. Whilst it's modern, the interior is quite dark, often needing the lights on. Our unit was snug for a WC user with us having to move the bed to allow access along side the bed. Thanks for having a lower kitchen bench however the Microwave, plates, bowls,glasses etc were out of reach for a WC user - but thanks for having us. Would stay again if needed.

Had a very nice stay here. The room was large and on the ground floor. Beautifully furnished rooms with all the little bits and bobs you could wish for. The hosts were most helpful and really cared about every detail of the design and service. Very pleasant staff and proprietor.

This is a nice little Motel conveniently located near shops, the motorway, and conference centers. The room was comfortable enough and I might add one of the cleanest I have been in however, the air conditioning unit was very noisy. There wasn't a pen or pad in the room, the shower drain was blocked causing the shower water to spill over onto the bathroom floor, the toaster didn't work, and the front office is not maned after 10 pm.

Room was clean and specious. Bathroom sink was cracked. We stayed 3 days but only give a bottle of milk on first day and we have to ask for another one on our last day. As soon as we asked it was sent to the room. Reception staff was helpful and had a good knowledge of local area. Location was good. Train station is 15 minutes and shops are about 10 minutes walk.

We often stay there. Best in town. Quiet convenient comfortable clean.

We had a studio room which was of the size now bult and quite comfortable for. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. Fabulous breakfast of bacon and eggs on toast. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Boulcott Lodge to anyone staying in Wellington.

The staff on reception were brilliant by allowing me to have late check out at 12.30 as I had come down with flu. The ***ager is friendly and helpful and allowed us to leave our car parked there for the day, even though we had checked out. The lock box had my key inside and so nice to enter a room with all the amenities of home.

Over all pretty good as in checkin etc, cleanliness but why oh why do so many motels have nowhere to put ones toiletries in the shower. How hard would it be to install a shower caddy of some sort? Also particularly as its winter if there's no heated towel racks how about extra towels?

Boulcott lodge ticked all the boxes for me. I found staff to be friendly and helpful, and the rooms to be very clean and presentable. I made an error when checking out and left a item behind. I received a call within minutes of leaving the lodge as the cleaners had alerted reception of a left behind item.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms, modern facilities a definite advantage. Could have stayed longer. Highly recommended place to stay in Lower Hutt.

All you need is a bit of steam clean and the stains will easily come off. It's really near the centre and a few minutes walk to the shopping centre and restaurants. Ideal for access to the Interislander ferry. I would definitely return here and happily pay the usual room rate.

Quiet hotel. Bed was a bit soft and room smelled like someone had smoked in it. Shower was good. Pain to have carry suitcase up stairs as no lift.

We chose this motel originally because it was only a short walk from the hospital. We are very light sleepers and stayed in an upstairs room with no noise from adjacent rooms heard. I was in a studio unit, the room was very clean and had everything I needed.
