Greens were good but fairways dry and a bit scruffy. Very windy but you can't control that.

Nice golf course, but $40 for a round of 18 holes is pretty steep considering most courses in wellington are a lot cheaper and have more upmarket facilities and generally are in better nick.

I like this course but had a few problems with communication. They were putting on a 3 day tournament. I travelled up from the South Island with another couple. We changed all our travel plans to be there. Got there and found out it had been cancelled. Not amused. To top it off, as a wanderers member which is affiliated with Martinborough GC, it is the only course in the country I couldn't print my card as a member. Tried as a visitor, it told me to use my Martinborough club number. Tried that and doesnt work there. That's my rant over. Still a great course to play.

Visitor online booking now available through their website. Good course, pretty flat with fairly open fairways. Can get hot in the summer so you need water and a hat.
