Reviews of Taumarunui Golf Club
q.A hidden gem of a course. For a small club run by a handful of people, it was a treat to play. The layout and golfing experience was just wonderful. A memorable experience.

N.Very friendly staff. Golf course is beautiful and extremely well maintained. A must do course for anyone who enjoys a round of Golf. Also a very good venue for Weddings 21st etc good facilities
W.Very well maintained course. Pro shop closed when we arrived but there is an excellent self service system to get cards and pay. Lovely walking along plush grass and greens perfect.
S.The Tarrangower course at Taumarunui Golf Club is a good quality layout, popular with local golfers. This tree-lined and open parkland course contains a variety of attractive holes and pleasant features, which should provide an enjoyable test of golf at a generally affordable rate. Worth a visit if you are in the area and have some time to spare.
R.Fabulous excellently maintained fairways and greens, well worth 18 holes . Aged avenues of splendid trees hide unsuspecting bunkers , whilst the many undulating hillocks and troughs will certainly punish the inattentive player. After 18 thirsty holes, I popped around to the local RSA where their warm welcome encourages all visitors with both hot food and cold beers!
m.One of my favourite courses, a group of us make a point of playing here every few months en route going North or South. Not long but tight and interesting and several memorable holes.
F.Unexpectedly decent, probably my favourite small town course. Definitely worth a drop in if passing through the central plateau.
