Reviews of Cattlestop Crag
г.It has a nice view of the city. When you go accross the road you will have a nice view of the bays and lyttleton. The other part of the road here is closed but you can enter it for a walk. There is a 5-7 minute walk track here going to the Gondola if you wanna have coffee or lunch up there and it has a better view of Christchurch. There are sheep on the side of the hill which give the view more amazing.
E.Awesome rock, well maintained gear and a range of beginner/intermediate routes.
Stick to paths, and keep it clean!
C.Really fun rock climbing there, where I was climbing it went from grade 12 to 21.

J.Very nice view point over Christchurch and the surrounding mountains. Many short sport climbing routes in the area.
A.Lovely place to go climbing. From beginner walls to advance walls, everything is here.
Even on a crowdy day we found a quiet place for us.
b.You'll find the walls of this crag on the NORTH SIDE of the main road. Park next to the cattle stop that spans the main road, then look for the stone seat, walk down to the crag from there.
J.Good crag with range of short climbs, Shimmering Jelly and Surgical Strike Walls are great. Commonly referred to as "El Cat."
