I trained with Kirk at Brock Fitness for 4 years (and only stopped after I left Dunedin). Kirk has excellent knowledge and skill in developing individualised workout and fitness routines. He is very talented in teaching proper technique, knows when to push and how to encourage his clients to get the very best out of each session.
Alongside the 1 on 1 sessions, the groups classes are great in developing different types of fitness.
Kirk and Katie pair this knowledge and skill with being very approachable and always up for a chat making sessions something to look forward to. I have no doubt that when I return to Dunedin I'll be seeing Kirk again.

Katie and Kirk are wonderful trainers! They are compassionate and caring, while still well and truly able to kick my butt in the best way! Their boot camps are a great mixture of weights and cardio and well suited to a range of fitness levels! I came back into fitness looking to build my strength and get healthy after having a baby and feel super supported.

I have really enjoyed bootcamps at Brock fitness. Kirk and Katie are really great at pushing me and always watching to help on proper techniques. They're always smiling and it's a great friendly environment with the group. They've really helped me get motivated and I would 100% recommend them to anyone. Cheers guys.

Kirk & Katie are awesome, they make you feel super welcome and explain everything in detail (in terms of completing the exercise but also why and where you should feel the burn). The level of challenge was great and how they increased and changed the training style made it enjoyable. Having someone holding me accountable with my goals has been a game changer for me - couldn't recommend more.

I totally recommend Brock Fitness. Kirk and Katie are both great trainers who work well together as a team encouraging me in every session I attend. I love how far they can push me and the huge variety in the exercises we do. Every exercise can be modified to suit individual needs - it can be personalised to my level and ability - but at the same time Kirk and Katie are there close by challenging me. I look forward to the sessions and feel energised when I leave. So pleased I found them.

Katie, right from day one made me feel at ease (which as an older person who had never lifted a weight etc. in her life was very comforting). She is very passionate about what she does and her expertise is very evident. I have got muscles back that I forgot I had and no more lower back pain - wahoo! Katie, always mixes up each sessions making them challenging, fun and enjoyable. I love how Katie makes me feel, she is patient, always encouraging and genuinely cares. I highly recommend Katie - so come on you older Dorises out there, do it!! You won’t regret it!

Kirk and Katie create such a positive atmosphere which is exactly what I needed as I struggle exercising! They share so much knowledge while having a laugh which is the best part…. Highly recommend the boot camps and one on one sessions. Thanks team!

I have never liked gyms, however Brock Fitness has proven to be different. Small, with a diverse bunch of women, we slog it out at Bootcamp twice a week with clear guidance & support from Katie & Kirk. Never thought I would hear myself say this, but it’s awesome!!! I feel fit, strong and in charge of my body. There is no judgement, no dress code, but there is lots of laughter & encouragement. A great wee gym.

I joined brock fitness after my husband started going. For me I needed a space where I would feel comfortable and not judged and I quickly found brock fitness was this place.
Kirk and Katie are amazing people, helpful, and most importantly friendly. I like that they are so knowledgeable and want you to get your technique right. Kirk is knowledgeable and knows when to push you but equally when you are struggling.
I’m so pleased I joined brock fitness and would recommend to all.
