A.I popped in with my wife who is a beginner climber and the staff were so helpful in assisting my partner while I climbed, she basically got a free lesson in belaying. The climbs are good and the staff is awesome. You could tell the place fostered a nice climbing community and we immediately felt at home. If I lived in Nelson I would definitely be a member of Vertical Limits. Thanks for the sweet climbing and for making my belay partner feel safe!
J.Not quite high end construction but obviously maintained by dedicated and passionate people involved in the sport. The climbs are generally graded slightly on the hard side. Some bouldering is available but the routes aren't really well defined. There is a children's wall as well.
K.Top entertainment in Nelson. Great to see all the vibrant energy put in from new management and all the up grades to equipment. As a first time climber I felt completely at ease with learning how to climb on Vertical Limits certified equipment. Well done James.
S.Fantastic, from introduction, safety briefing, safety gear allocation, demonstration, to being checked on later by staff. A friendly and relaxed, but professional atmosphere. Such a confidence booster for my 11year old grandson 👍👍👍
M.Very good place for advanced climbers, good for advanced boulderers. One wall for bouldering, one mixed. Friendly staff and good equipment. I had a good time.
