First time I have been here & came with my niece. Great customer service. Generally clean. Very good bathroom facilities & really surprised but the toilet paper is not budget & legit good as toilet paper. The baby, family & swimming lanes pools were awesome & loved the hydroslide. Very cheap & great value for money. Highly recommend.

Plenty of deep and shallow lanes available in the weekday afternoons. I find it agreeably warm. Always clean. The waterslide is closed while on Level-2. I enjoy my daily swim here.

This was our first time going to the CAC and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lifeguards were so friendly as well as the other staff.

I love this pool so much! It’s super clean, spacious, and well-maintained! This is the best pool I’ve ever visited, with a small pool for children, and a big lane pool to swim in for everyone else. It’s in a nice place, looks amazing, and everyone will love it!

An excellent facility with 3 pools plus hydro slide. The lifeguards encouraged our 8-10 yr old to swim & stay afloat, earning themselves a coloured band which enables them to go in the deep end of the pool. The challenge was good for them.

Great location in Kapiti. The pool has good facilities such as a large spa and a sauna. Three different sized pools. They also provide a variety of activities for kids of all ages. Very reasonably priced.

Brilliant staff here. Pool clean and the kids had a great time. Only issue was the amount of lanes for the non-existent swimmers/walkers, with the general population being forced over to the end of the pool.

I have just started Aqua Aerobics at Coastlands Aquatic Centre. It is a great facility with 3 pools and a water slide . A spa bath and a sauna. Showers, toilets and good changing rooms. Oh and a cafe which is important!!!

Amazing pools. Great for kids big and small. Facilities are clean, family change rooms with locking doors and then cafe is great AND well priced. Wore out, change and fed a 3.5 and 1.5 year old in 3 hrs with $15 and no stress 👌

Great place to go first thing on a Wednesday with our 2 preschoolers. Clean changing rooms, pool was warm. Friendly staff. Handy to be able to purchase a couple of pairs of goggles at reasonable prices.

Great pool, great water slide but the family change rooms, eeew! I wish they could be cleaned more often because by lunch time there's stuff lurking around on those floors that I don't want to slip over on!

Lots of fun for my 2 year old daughter and I. Staff is friendly and helpful. Spa and sauna are nice. Overcrowding seems to be the only issue, much like the Waikanae pool.

It's a very good price.with community s card is cheaper. Just check that lessons are not on of u want to take little ones to kids medium pool.often it's full of lessons after school hours.just call ahead and ask.

Thank you so much for this lovely shower for this decent price... We decided to use the rest of our monnaie on you little stand for our breakfast to thanks you ! We are backpacker, we doing a lot of road to follow the seasons to pick the fruits of the country and this is not easy everyday, we felt like we are not treated correctly, because sometimes really hard to find decent toilet and shower... Something to know for local people, WE NEVER use our SC to poo inside with our toilet portable, all of them are still brand new and WE NEVER poo in the wild... this is a legend, we are civilised! The trip is really hard in NZ for that, the government try to do economie on this point... compared Australia, we have to find everytime decent toilet and shower on our way and all the backpacker we meet have the same stories for Nz! Anyway Thank you again because we felt traited correctly in this city, this is not the case everywhere where monaie and judgement are too present... Wish Frequency Love For Everyone <3

Friendly and helpful staff. There are three pools to accommodate different sized children. The floor in the pools have a non slip coating. Can get some good speed on the hydroslide, has both blue and black sections.

Fabulous for safety. Regardless if a parent is there, kids sit a swim test before allowed in the big pool. The names are also recorded so the next time you go, reception ticks off the name and gives you the appropriately coloured wrist band.

We always take the kids here when visiting Kaipiti to burn off some steam. The kids pool is always PACKED on the weekends when the inflatables are up so be prepared to feel a bit farmed. Splash pool for very little ones (although it is a little underwhelming). Cafe on site with the basics.

Seems super chlorinated but we may not be used to it. Just causes a bit or eye irritation. But still a great venue

After lots of community fundraising, the Coastlands Aquatic Centre is finally open. The pool has only 1 hydroslide, and a cafe in the lobby. There are meeting rooms that can be booked. The modern architecture that went into the exterior is outstanding, however the interior inside the pools has some room for improvement.

Modern and clean pool, great for swimming for fitness or fun. can get quite busy during the school holidays so if you are looking to swim laps, better to wait till the evening or in the morning so you aren't crowded.

We are from Germany. We did a 1 month trip to NZ 2 months ago and on the way up north from South Island via Kapiti, we thought we should call in the Aquatic Center just for a shower. Amazingly one asian staff there could speak German she was so friendly and nice making us feel like very welcome. The facility is indeed super!

Lovely staff. Awesome facility. Just a shame that we couldn't use the deep end because of aqua joggers when there was 2 other free lanes open that they could have used. Only reason for 4 stars. There were more people wanting to use the deep end then aqua joggers yet we were kicked. Kids weren't impressed.

Well organized recreational area. Carparking at rear and side making it safe with children running about vehicles as well as for elders. Wheel chair access. Food and drinks reasonable in prices. Changi give room and toilet facilities clean. And lovely and warm inside. Jacket only needed for external egress to carpark.

Nice and clean indoor pools. They put the inflatables up in the kiddie pool and big pool on weekends and school holidays. Hydroslide is fun too for a few extra dollars. Staff are helpful and friendly. Sometimes the 25m lanes and whole complex are closed due to lessons or swim club competition so check website before coming on weekends.

Nothing was mentioned about the pool being taken over by swimming lessons only got to use a 3ed of the pool otherwise we had a great time

Coastlands can be absolutely overrun on the weekends and the kids pool can be chock full of people. The babies have a splash pool, and the kids can enjoy the hydroslide. Ideally go on opening for a less busy experience.

Well I mean it's pretty good... nice deep 2 metre pool! Awesome slides as well. Sorry for my friend and I going two together and then getting told off, fair call. Usually go to Waikanae Pool, but this is a fantastic alternative for the rainy day.

Great pools really nice staff. My one complaint is that the building gets really stuffy and hot over summer but that's not a problem if your in the pool.

Very friendly atmosphere, staff are welcoming and helpful. Awesome place to start if you haven't done any exercises for a while or you need rehabilitation or strength training working in the water is so much easier on the joints.

I went there today with my family and it was great! We must have picked the right day as there was no lines to the slide or inflatables (and its the weekend!!??). The staff were friendly and happy and we left assured to return again. Thanks CAC!

Awesome pool just abit costly & spa is never clean & seems as though the grit between the tiles is always all over the floor of the spa. And there's never any bubbles in the spa unless you make your own

Good modern and cheap pool, Great for school holidays has a hydro slide as well as the inflatables which go up at about 1 in the school holidays. However if you are just wanting to swim I would stay away in the school holidays as I does get a bit crowded from about 1-4 when the inflatables are up.

You have 3 pools, a massive big slide, a spa and a sauna. The big pool is cool that's the downfall plus no wave pools. Sometimes the slide is closed because of too high in chlorine, but other than that it's good

Great free belts etc for aqua jogging, lovely spa to massage the muscles and great inflatables for the children to keep fit with under the eagle eye of plenty of lifeguards! A great holiday experience. Thank you. BUT it was disappointing that the inflatables weren't there for the last days of the school holidays. Also the deep end was set up for aqua joggers (none except me- regulars jog in the morning!) so I took the next lane and told a dozen children they could swim there! It made sense. Please provide for children for ALL the school holidays.

Large pool with 5 or 6 lanes when half is used for Aquafit so still plenty of room for lengths. Clean spa and sauna. Small shop with reasonable priced swim gear. Cafe is ok.
