I love Maria's in person classes. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable but her classes are always varied so you never get bored. Doing regular yoga & pilates made a big difference for my back condition, so highly recommend you check Basesix fitness out.

As a bloke, I was quite intimidated to go, but Maria's classes are great. She makes it all look so easy, but its a great work out! She's amazing at explaining the moves and gives options for regression to allow everyone to take part at their own level. I highly recommend Maria from BaseSix Fitness. I have also recently started doing the online sessions and am loving the convenience, and the experience is exactly the same as it was in person.

I have been attending classes with Maria for 6 months consistently. I have noticed a huge improvement in my strength, tone and flexibility. I find the classes really manageable (as I am not very flexible!) and a good, overall workout. As a Dressage rider, there has been definite improvement in my riding since doing these classes especially in core strength and awareness of using the correct core muscles. Would highly recommend anyone to join Maria's classes. If I can do it- you definitely can!! :)

I took on the 7 day on line challenge and felt that the communication was great! Given I have never done this sort of excercise before Maria was very clear on how to move from one pose to another and at all times was energetic and happy - that really gets you pumped! So refreshing to see someone who is passionate about wha they do!

I have had a big improvement already ( only been going a few weeks) with general aches no longer a big problem. Arms getting stronger. Still would love to be able to cross my legs🙀time maybe. Bad hip no longer wakes me at night when I turn over! Started going once a week and have only done two weeks at twice a week. Really enjoying twice a week. Maria is an excellent Pilates instructor; clear, concise and professional with a seamless ability to engage with her audience in a friendly and down to earth way. I would thoroughly recommend her online classes, they are well structured, engaging and very convenient.

I’ve been doing pilates/ yoga for several years but only just under a year with Maria & she is by far the best. Each move she gives you options to go push yourself harder or ease off a little, so her classes are for every level. I like that she moves around the class to ensure everyone is doing it correctly and discreetly whispers to you to help correct your position, you don’t get that in the big classes with someone on stage. Can hardly wait until lock down is over.

Maria runs relaxed and welcoming strengthening pilates classes. I have recently suffered bad lower back pain. I find Maria to be very helpful in talking through the correct way to execute any stretches that would potentially put a back at risk if done wrong. Highly recommend to both experienced and beginners.

Maria has a brilliant way of making you work hard, but without stress! She explains everything so clearly and always has options for injuries or disability. I have gained so much from her classes, I recommend her to anyone no matter their age, fitness level or physical ability.

Love Maria and her classes on a Monday and a Wednesday. She makes them fun, but safe for all capabilities

I've attended the classes in Pukekohe a couple of times. Maria is very professional & knows her stuff. The class goes at a good pace for everyone regardless of experience. I'll have to start attending again soon

We really very happy with the Yoga/Pilates classes run by BaseSix Fitness! Maria delivers a range of brilliant practical exercises that provide a welcome relief from the stresses of business. Her calm and clear instructions just make the whole session enjoyable!

My wife and I have been going to Basesix Fitness classes for at least 4 or 5 weeks now, witht he last couple of weeks being via Zoom meetings due to the current lockdown, and we have felt better each time we have done these. Maria understands that no two people are the same and is always reassuring people to just do what you can, so there is no pressure whatsoever to try and 'prove yourself'. We would recommned these classes to anyone, no matter how fit you think you are, pt aren't, give it a go folks.

Maria's classes are great, especially as we can do them at home without all the travel involved due to living out of town. Excellent for core strength, highly recommend !
