Good pools. Good for bombing and swimming. Nice cafe now. Vending Machines as before (a little pricey!). Still some developing to do, but I know the council already has plans for that. The recently updated outdoor pools and changing rooms look good.

A great day out with the kids. Perfect as it opens at 6am, great for early risers! The spa and lazy river a highlight, and my kids loved the 'bomb' pool. Great fun at a very reasonable price.

Very friendly staff , nice and polite, pool nice and clean, clean and go variety of snacks at the snack bar, polite and friendly staff.

Great facilities if a bit old, very warm activities for all age groups. Would be great if they had a little cafe or something but bbq facilities to byo food and have a picnic

An awesome day 🌞 considering the month of June is officially NZ's winter season. The Aquatics was jam packed due to an event (Secondary Schools Indoor Team Sports of some sort) happening in the big Indoor heated pools. Including two (or possibly more) birthday parties of which I was attending my two year old grandchilds birthday. The atmosphere and pools were warm and people including our children were also swimming in the outdoor pools, water park nd park. Of course both spa pools were packed as well. Awesome mahi Staff ☺😍😁

We have underwater hockey there which include various tournaments. This sport is so fun to play. Come along and try it Wednesday from 6.30pm for free. The aquatic staff are lovely. Some younger lifeguards are less attentive. I have used the spa while my family train, it's nice and peaceful outside. Training outside is cooler, where I do train. But at night it's my own world. Busy pool after school with swim clubs.

3 major pools available, kids pool has slides, very popular place during the school holidays and has a playground too if you have kids. Food and swimming related clothing sold as well and swimmer nappies for the little ones. Pool outside had just had a big upgrade, spas available too. My kids love it - ❤❤

Instructor very cool. Teaching life saving skills. You never know when you need this skill.

Signed up for a great deal. Aqua jogging was pretty busy alot of elderly.

Went for a weights gym session as it was the only casual gym open till 9pm. Very small room with about 6 prices of cardio equipment (treadmills, rowers etc). 1 squat/bench rack and 1 free bench. Olympic bar and weights up to 180kg. Dumbells up to 30kg. 1 x home style cable gym that was broken. Pretty old and not a nice space to train in. Nice staff and good tunes though. OK if you are desperate to train and everywhere else is closed then go ahead otherwise there will be better options. Price for a casual visit was $15.

I had the outdoor lap pool to myself! Also love the hot tubs for a nice soak after a swim!

I haven't been there for three years. I love the change to salt water, it doesn't have that smell anymore. Love the updated outside pool. Kids had fun today, wasn't to many people.

Awesome vibes, staff are choice!! Pools are the best temperature for my baby and children we loved the experience! Plus their is no chlorine to sting my eyes so i could play with my babies without tears! Loved it!!

Nice relaxing way to end the day spent in the spa's chillaxing. Different heat levels, so find the one that suits your mood. Suggest taking a water bottle as you will sweat it out in some cases. Worth the $2 extra on top of your entrance fee.

There were 5 birthdays here but still a awesome day with the kids

It's a great here! Heated swimming pools and spa pools indoor and out. Lots of green area to enjoy a picnic under the trees, sun or other shaded areas. There's even a dedicated bombing pool. They even provide hair dryers in the ladies. And there's a playground too 👍

The best swimming pool and hot spring spa in NZ, you may spend whole day here with kids.

The water was warm enough for me to stay in the toddler pool! Lovely big pool too, they got out an inflatable slide for the wee kids, a really fun experience for them. And a nice spa area where kids are welcome.

Good place for some family fun they cater for birthdays as well good friendly staff are always there to help. So if you are stuck or anything to do with your family I recommend taking them here

Could have been better. 1 sometimes 2 lifeguards for about 60 kids in the main pool. Kids bombing and jumping on others even though the signs says NO running jumping or bombing. There is a separate pool for this

Kids play pool was really warm and had some cool slides for them. My daughter played on the slide for 30min straight!

Lots of rubbish inside the changing rooms. The only life guard outside was talking to a woman in the spa and didn't look up once.

Great fun had with the family. Nice way to warm up in the cold weather.

The swimming lessons are great. Pools to suit your need. Spa also available. Although if you only wanna come for the spa avoid

Good fun place, could use some slides or something, but other than that it's great.

Good fun with a 16 month old, even on a rainy day. Nice kids pool (only two small sides, be nice if there were more indoor kids constructions) and outdoor kids area with fountains, tipping buckets, squirters, etc. Some outdoor and indoor hot tubs which were great on a rainy day. Family change rooms as well, all set up nicely with lots of lifeguards on duty. Nice place to spend some time with the family.

Great value for money. Outdoor 50m Olympic swimming pool and several smaller heated indoor swimming pools. There are spa pools for a nominal extra fee. Lots of well kept lawn and shady areas. Free wifi! A fantastic place to spend the day, sunshine or rain.

All the pricing and stuff you can find out on their website. Just search "Rotorua Aquatic Centre" It is really relaxing and very cool. It will be much more enjoyable for kids/teens or even older if you have enough $ to hire a pool toy Or even better if you bring your own. The spa pools are okay, indoor pools are cool, outdoor pool is great for swimmers and the gym I have only heard about....great place to take the kids and good staff. As long as you don't over think about the little white stuff in the pool (could just be the bubbles) it is awesome!!.

Great place for a svim! 2a 2children - 15$ - very fair. Pay extra for spa pools, but the normal pools are so hot you don’t need it ;) Several pools to choose from - huge area. Close to the thermal pools in the park.

$3 shower in open and gendered changing rooms. Unlimited hot water, although the pressure and temperature are inconsistent and not under your control; they're those annoying timed shut-off buttons that last six seconds before you need to push them again.

You should definitely spend the extra 2$ on the spa. These are the best spas in an aquatic center I have seen so far in new zealand (and I have seen a lot). Go to the outside pools, not as busy as indoors.

Spa pools inside and out. Large indoor swimming pools, however swimming lessons do tend to take up majority of the kids pools on weekdays. Would be great if swimschool had their own pool for lessons. Also hydroslides and wave pool would make a awesome addition.

Great place for kids, family and adults. Great for a quick dip, doing laps, having a spa or recreation.

This place is great. Staff and swim school is great. Would give this 5 stars if they had hydroslide and few other water activities for kids.

Usually have good experiences there however on the odd occasion you get quite disrespectful, arrogant, and bullying impiceals (yes spelt wrong). Just as well the staff are great and arent afraid of sorting these ones out.

Good for kids and adults of all ages. Great indoor and outdoor pools, spas and lane swimming. Even has bbq hire for family groups.

A great swim squad school. My daughter loves to swim there as the water is 2m deep throughout. Staff always friendly. Would recommend the swim team.

We always have a great time here. Coffee, snacks, great changing room and private spaces are available too. Great outdoors play space and pools.

Awesome staff! Very friendly and professional. Im a Jaffa from Auckland, I was in Rotorua on New Year’s Day desperate for a workout from too much good food. Drove around and all the gyms closed and hotels would not let me access their fitness facilities. Was about to go back dejected but then found the Aquatic Centre open like an oasis in the desert! On top of that staff were welcoming and friendly and only charged me $15 to use gym, pools and spa!!! What a nice welcome to 2019! Which were surperb! To all my fellow Jaffa’s and out of towners if u in Rotorua and need a good casual fitness workout or swim go to Aquatic Center. Highly Recommended. Big shout out to Shar Brown she’s an awesome personal trainer who helped me out there. Thanks again guys! I’ll be back!!

Awesome for all ages. The spas are relaxing after a hard days work and the kids are all in view as well as a awesome team of lifeguards.

It's great not overcrowded like other gyms in rotorua a upgrade of some gym equipment would be beneficial but other than that its ae ka pai.

This pool gets very crowded. The showers and changing areas could be better. On the upside the outdoor pool was much longer than what I’m used to.

Hot and cold pools to sooth or exercise body. Kids and Adults will enjoy a day with eating and cooking facilities.

Awesome place. My kids loved it and so did my husband and I. Lots of different pools to choose from.

We went there because of the great facilities offered to ensure that everyone of all ages can have fun. B.B.Q. and swimming. A playground and lots of open space. Who could ask for more.

Spa pools are awesome and great kids are allowed in them too, good prices for value, selection of pools to choose from and hiring togs easy and cheap.

Visited for a birthday party. Weather was horrible if you were in the outdoor areas but the whole facility was excellent and the kids loved it.

Facilities need a repaint looking very tired and dull, peeling paint etc. Pool lovely and clean.
