I have just recently had knee surgery and Mark was extremely helpful and accommodating for my particular situation. He 'made it work' for me and set me up with a membership that met my needs. Mark always asked how my knee was and I felt welcomed at Snap Fitness. A great experience and this has helped my recovery. Thanks Mark.

Love Snap fitness silverdale! All staff members make you feel like family and are more than happy to help you out when needed. I really enjoy training with Hamish. He helps motivate me and every session is different with him. When he sees me struggling he pushes me. He has helped me out so much on my fitness journey and I would recommend him to anyone!

Love this gym so much!! All the trainers are amazing. So approachable, personable and caring. They make everyone feel like a somebody and are always there to help. Dean's Core on a Saturday (perilously Dan's) is a must attend!!! 👌💪😍

I really enjoy the relaxed, friendly environment at snap fitness silverdale. The equipment is great but the best part is the group classes run by Dean. They are small enough to be personal and he always makes you work hard but keeps the classes fun at the same time. Overall it's a fantastic place to work out!

I have nothing but 5 stars for Snap Fitness Silverdale! This is not only a gym but a welcoming warm enviroment that is filled with trainers and people that are friendly and motivating. I am so appreciative to my PT Dean who has helped push me to my limits and inspired me to smash my personal goals whilst also encouraging me to train harder. I never even thought I could achieve what I have in the gym and this is all because of Dean and his continual encouragement and support! Honestly, if you are looking for a PT , he’s your guy and Snap Silverdale is the place to be :)

When I first started out at the gym I was totally clueless and since training weekly with Dean I've become a lot more knowledgeable and have been going to the gym as a hobby and not a chore. Dean is super supportive and his classes are a really great as well! Awesome facilities and everyone feels like family there! Couldn't recommend Snap Silverdale enough!!

I started out at Snap a few weeks ago, unsure on where to begin and a bit lost in the world of gymming to be honest. One day during one of my work outs, Dean, one of the personal trainers at snap came across to give me a few pointers on my technique. Long story short, I have now done a few personal training session with the man himself, and I have noticed great advancements in both my strength and technique. I am very thankful for the time and effort Dean has put into training myself. Snap Silverdale is a great gym, always so welcoming and helpful! Love their group fitness time table, so much to offer. Deans group classes are amazing, shows correct technique and pushes you to your full potential. Also a great trainer through PT sessions helping you work on smashing your goals.

I have had many personal personal trainers in the past and have been to many different gyms and very few have ever been this close to how much improvement I have had and how good the facilities are. Dean Van Wijk - Personal Trainer I started with Dean in April of this year and have found him to be both professional and an excellent motivational trainer who is results driven. The progress I have achieved to date is due to Deans combination of diverse training methods, an individualized exercise program and challenging yet achievable goals. He has the ability to persuade and enable me to push myself beyond my perceived limits to get results, whilst placing a high value on correct form with each exercise. Deans knowledge, encouragement and enthusiastic commitment to his clients provides the foundation for personal achievement, not least that I have dropped a dress size! Honestly, I'm not the biggest gym enthusiast, as I often get bored of the repetitiveness. However, Dean has helped A LOT in that regard, in particular how to keep myself motivated and interested. Great trainer and funny guy!

Let's be honest ladies and gents, there's a lot of gyms out there and most of them are more than adequate for anyone that wants to get in shape! However, if you want to take your training serious and be taught and instructed by someone that has the experience, knowledge and most importantly the passion and honest willingness to help you in your quest to get that perfect/ideal body, Dean and only Dean is your guy! I've been training with Alex and have seen improvements in my strength and posture. She's an amazing PT who puts a lot of thought and prep into our sessions and has helped me with my emotional issues around food. She knows her stuff and is great to have a laugh with too! Highly recommend

I joined Personal Trainer Alex's Booty Boot Camp, as a beginner and ended up re-joining for 5 of her Boot Camps. Alex's understanding of mobility and strength training is awesome. I found her patience and passion for braking down a movement, until I could master it - enabling and inspiring for me. Ok so let's start at how convenient the location is and the fact that it's got 24 HR access. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They know you by name. They are always willing to give you advice. The group fit classes are so much fun. They have ample equipment. I'm so happy at Snap Silverdale. I work right next to a VERY famous gym in AKL CBD and even though my company gets special rates for THAT gym I STILL won't leave Snap Silverdale . That's how happy I am there. I completed a 6 week Challenge with Personal Trainer Alex . OMG NEXT LEVEL !!!!. She taught me so much . I learned about so much that I was doing wrong. Since doing her 6 week Challenge, Ive had so many people commenting about how my body has changed. I can feel it and see it. If I could do a 6 week challenge with Alex everytime she has one, I would. She taught me proper form and how to do so many moves that I was afraid to do. I now lift weights regularly and its changing my body and toning me up way quicker than anything else i tried. She is amazing-

Snap Silversale is by far the best gym I have ever been a member of. Great vibe with a good bunch of people. Dean is a great guy to train with and by his own admission is probably the 4th or 5th best looking personal trainer in Silverdale.

Hamish was excellent! He sorted me out with a diet plan and gave me some workouts I could do at home when i cant make it to the gym. I've had a few PT's before but you can tell Hamish genuinely cares about his clients and their progress.
