One of my favourite burger chains - it reminds me of In-n-Out in LA. The taste and quality of the food at Sylvia Park is consistent as their other branches. But this branch is much cleaner than the branch in town.

Great choice and easy menu to select from, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed the milkshake was very delicious till the we got our order shakes were nearly finished. Burgers and fried chicken 🐔 was delicious 😋. Not bad decision at all after watching Space Jam for our lunch time. 🙂🏀🎶

I love Better Burgers so much. My favorite thing about the restaurant is the simple menu. If you often get decision paralysis when eating out Better Burger is THE place for you, three delicious burger options, fried chicken, chips, soda or a shake!! All of it is delicious so you can't choose wrong! The restaurant has a really cute diner vibe - love the booth seats. And of course, the workers are always so friendly there! I was served by Abby today and she is a star 🌟

I have tried this place a few times now. They are just average, but the service is generally very good. The food, as in the burgers are alright, but the bun isn't very dry and the ingredients inside taste just OK. They are definitely not bad, but just nothing memorable or outstanding. I would eat there again, but would probably prefer other takeaway outlets nearby.

An alright burger, not the cleanest place from what I saw. Most tables had left over food on them. Music were too loud too in store. Good customer service.

Another Fast Food Franchise, but a little different, it's ultra basic on all levels. (1) There are only 4 burgers offered. (2) There are 2 types of Fries, Normal & Epic ( cheese, onion, mustard & sauce) (3) The venue has no interior decoration what so ever, it's minimalist. (4) All seating is bolted to the polished concrete floor and immovable. (5) Booth style / Island seating. (6) Interior is laminated light butt jointed timber that could dbl as flooring if reqd. (7) Burger size is acceptable and $$ is borderline. Fries are excellent but $$ by volume. Milk Shakes, bottled water and all regular soft drinks dispensed by Tap, not by bottle. Service is quick n efficient and upselling is practised here. Sauce/mustard with napkins on each table as std. (8) Burger ordered was their Dbl Cheese $11:00, and it didn't disappoint at all, and came wrapped 50% in a serviette for manageability. Taste and contents were 100% and the construction was NOT a slimy greasy mess. Fries are home cut style with some skin still on and 100% good. Pretty sure from what I saw, this place is Card Only, no Cash. Didn't inspect the toilets. Overall its a great new franchise that keeps it simple. Just not cheap. Would I go back... Yes.

The place looks quite large but there isn't a lot of tables so it could fill up quite fast. There are about 5 or so booths on either side and a large table in the middle, which could be shared by multiple groups. The menu is located outside as well as over the counter and it's quite small so not much thinking required. After ordering you wait to pick up the order. I had the mushroom burger which had a fried portabello inside. I quite liked it since it was crunchy and nice. The fries were as good as the other branches, crispy and not too salty. It was quite nice but did fill up really fast so if you time it right then there should be a table available to eat at.

Yeah decent burger. Chips we're a bit bland. Maybe some sauce options? I really rated the mushroom burger, delicious AND healthy.

Probably one of the best stores fom this brand that I have been too! Really enjoyed my meal here and found it cool that here they had their special sauce on the tables as a condiment! Havent seen this at any other Better Burgers. Fast service, excellent burgers. Plenty of seating here both indoors and outdoors. Will be back here sometime.

my go to burger shop. never get bored. no kumara a bit shame but not a big deal.

Quality of the burgers are going down hill. Used to be nice and juicy, now they look like a McDonald's burger Edit: they offered me a free meal. It was great. I'm not sure if my previous burger was just a one off or they have picked up the quality control but my recent meal was so good. Back to the good ol days of great juicy & fresh burgers. Thanks guys!

At first I was a little disappointed with the thin patties, then I remembered that I paid less than $15 with fries and a Coke. Once I started eating on the burger I realised that I had not wasted my money. Really delicious and the fries were cooked perfectly.

American In n Out wannabe burger joint. Similar setting to the original. Ordered a fee things and the verdict is.... It's OK as a burger joint, the fries were not up to standard. Some of the fries were soggy, not to my Liking. Burger tasted OK and the portion is just right.

I ordered the Double Cheeseburger and Epic Fries. The burger was fresh but flavour wise it was just average. I think its where the sauce goes in the burger which is affecting the flavour, it should be put on the bun which is in contact with the meat, or at least between the meat and the salad, as they put the sauce between the bun and the salad which doesn't really help the burger flavour wise. The sauce itself is nice, reminds me of the sauce used in the Big Carl at Carls Jr. Its just not combining with the whole burger well enough as you taste the salad more than sauce when eaten together so it makes the burger taste a bit plain. The epic fries would have been better if there was no mustard and if the fries were french fries rather than shoe strings. The mustard is too strong, would have been better if it was a cheese sauce, or melted cheese instead of mustard.

It's a bit pricey considering the smaller size of the burger. But food quality and taste is very good 😋

good nice medium budget friendly burger chain , NewZealand owned . i go for the vegetarian one which mushroom patty burger with combo , quite a good size portion , always busy . good to seating out in the walk way of the sylvia park mall

This burger place is fantastic. They make simple cheese/ double cheese burger with fresh vegetables and their fries are very tasty. I give them 4 stars that because it is still fast food business, their product may be distorted due to time and demand pressure. It may not always be up to standard. You can get real good taste on their product when it is off peak time such as late evening or early morning. Overall, it is good burger restaurant.

When we went it was quiet but normally it is busy! Pretty good and just like town really! Good fries.. Only selection of 2 drinks and 4 different burgers.. Sadly the shake machine wasn't working even though they haven't been open for a long time!

Thought I would try Better Burger for something different. Was a little disappointing. The staff member who served me may have been having a bad day as they were short and abrupt and not very happy (we all have bad days). There are only a few options for meals and I had the double cheese burger. It was OK tasting but not really up there with the best. The area was clean. If you are after a gourmet burger then this may not be for you. Still it filled the hole.

Had the regular cheeseburger last week. It was very average. Mostly bread with a thin slice of processed patty. Fries were alright. Remembered it to be better some years ago. Also the 'enter a random number' on the kiosk ordering machine was confusing when receiving my order, as other customers shared the same number as me.

Great spot for a burger, love the mushroom burger. perfect amount of crunch. Also the fries are a must try with the secret sauce on the side.

Went in today for a quick lunch—and it was just that. Quick. Rick, took our order and was a great host. The food came out very fast and tasted very fresh. I asked Rick if I can purchase an extra side of their secret sauce... Rick told me it’s already at our table with our food. Highly reccommend this spot if you’re in the area. The burgers are fresh, the fries are cut fresh and the chocolate milkshake was delicious. Thanks for having us team!

Hands down the best fast food burger joint. How a good cheeseburger should be (you gotta go double cheeseburger), perfect thickness patty, juicy and tasty. Don't know why some muppet was complaining about your burger sauce, I rate it. Pickles are good too, nice and sour like they should be. Fried chicken is a winner too. The staff you had on today were on form, everything was cooked perfectly. 👏 One complaint, bring a Better Burger to Pukekohe! Hell I'll run it for ya!

Burgers are okay, the mushroom burger is really a giant mushroom in there!! Music a bit too loud when staffs are trying to call out customer's name it's hard to hear.

This is a great place for a burger, or a mushroom burger which I ordered and really enjoyed! Quick, yummy dinner with teenagers before going to the movies.

Service was a bit average. Ordered the cheesburger, the burger is probably the same level as Wendys but the chips is really good.

The burgers here are great but the seating is awkward as. It felt like my seat was gonna give way under me on the concrete floors. You are safer in the booths but there are only 4 and the place was busy...

I visited Better Burger for lunch with a friend. While we both enjoyed our burgers, the experience of collecting the order was not that great. Both my friend and I were surprised at the system of yelling out customer names when the order was ready to be collected. The store was quite full and as such it was difficult to hear the names clearly even though they were being yelled out by the staff. This did not make for an enjoyable experience for us as we were unsure of when our name was going to be called out. It seems strange that this system is being used as it does not seem personable and detracts from an enjoyable meal.

When you want no nonsense but just a good cheeseburger, Better Burger is always my go to. This particular joint is great with friendly service and ample seating area with little to no music playing. Just excellent.

Love the food. Very simple menu but good quality! However, I visited today and was quite disappointed with a few things. First of all the customer service wasn't great. As I walked away and stood to the side to wait for the lady serving at the counter shouted across the room "WHAT IS YOUR NAME?". I replied and then she asked, " I NEED YOUR NUMBER" (for COVID tracking). It just was not necessary especially when there was no one else in the store, it would have been much more polite to walk over to me or at least say excuse me. Secondly, as I sat eating, all I could hear was awful hip hop music from the restaurant speakers that was way too loud and had profanities in every second line. It was completely inappropriate for a family restaurant at 2 PM. Absolutely disgusting, quite tacky to be honest and made me very uncomfortable. Sort your act out (and your playlist for that matter) Better Burger cause your food is great.

The value for money is very good! Both cheeseburger and fries had a great taste. The burgers are of average size but totally in line with the price. I personally did not like the design & atmosphere of the venue itself – if was a bit too basic and blunt.

Decided to try it even though I had been advised it wasn't anything special. We ordered 2 cheeseburger combos. Quick at delivery and I'm sure the efficiency has something to do with limited menu. The burgers were fresh but meat patty was very average (so many other burger places offer better). Special sauce is really good and I enjoyed the chips. All and all nothing offensive but I wouldn't bother again.

Quite good basic burgers, fries nice, simple menu of only 4 different burgers + combos which is an interesting variation on the overly complex competition menu boards. Only complaint is didn't make it clear that a "mushroom burger" really is just that - a burger with a fancied up mushroom as the patty, tasted nice, but was expecting mushrooms on a beef patty which I was really hanging out for! Noticed later the "V" for vegetarian.

Chicken burger was awesome fresh. Great staff. Smiling and caring. Bit of a wait but I believe they were doing their best. Keep up the good work guys. I will be back for sure. Cheers

The burgers are really tasty at a reasonable price. The service is good. And you can ask for halal to be cooked on a separate hot plate I.e. no bacon cooked together.

The borgir was delicious and juicy. 101% recommend

Really nice food and good service. Great place to have lunch in the area. Tables were a little dirty. They should be wiped after use. Other than that, awesome place which I recommend. I'll be back again!

Arrived and was disappointed to hear they had ran out of cheese... but that didn’t matter to me after the perfect service received by the guy who appeared to be working alone, he was very accommodating and the food was ready swiftly and to a high standard. Thank you- hope you see this feedback and keep doing what you do!

Does it live up to its name? It depends... it is better than burgers from fast food chains, but not really compared to other gourmet burger restaurants. I'd like to have the option of getting a burger with both beef and mushroom patties, that would definitely make a better burger.

Prices were reasonable but I was disappointed to be charged $17.50 for a burger combo when the board said burger $10 add drink and fries for $6- a small thing but not nice Menu is short and sweet and nice to see a vegan option but would like to have more clarity about that without needing to ask at the counter Burger was good but for vegan burger the only option was a lettuce bun Fries were delicious
