V.My second time going here today. First time last week ordered fish (was caught fresh), crisp batter, fish was fresh soft and hit right through. Burgers, had fresh tomatoes and beetroot, homemade patties. Best burger in ages. The hot chips were cooked perfectly and no off cuts. Must be clean oil at right temperature. Ordered burgers again. Consistent top quality. Only $5 a hamburger. Also made fast. Making this my new local takeaways.
A.We have been supporting this business for over 16 years and have always been happy. As usual the food were good.
My concerns today is that during the 30 minutes we were waiting for our order 3 customers came in without wearing a mask and none were asked to put a mask on or were offered a mask. It was nice to see all staff were wearing masks.
Unfortunately if the business continue to operate like this I will have no option to go elsewhere as I did not feel safe. I hope you can correct the mishap. Kindest Regards

Found this place a coiple months ago. Have been 5 times including today. Everytime the fish is fresh and batter light. Chips always cooked great and order is never greasy or oily.
Have had burgers there and they are really good too.
Prices are pretty good in my opinion especially for the quality.
Staff are always nice and friendly. Will always keep coming back when I want fish and chips.

After placing my order, I waited about 15 min for my food, taking in to consideration that there were 7 people ahead of me.
Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are big. Great food, will definitely recommend them for any future clients, we will definitely be back. There is ample parking in front of the shop.
You are now able to go inside to place your order after relaxing of covid restrictions. The shop is still spotless and the food turn around times are good.
If you want to save time, you can place your order per phone and then collect after about 20 minutes.
Great value for money and decent big portions of food.

K.Really really good classic fish and chips! Not greasy at all... in fact most of the wrapping paper could be re-purposed for arts and crafts. Not too salty, but well seasoned. Farteze will be my new go to fish and chippy.

R.Got to say the burgers are real kiwi takeaway burgers with beetroot and lettuce, onion so yum. Chips are perfect. Fish has a light batter so I can't fault. Won Tons , oysters amazing. Sorry I can't fault they have me now as a new customer! Best in the North Shore by far well done!

L.Went there on a whim and I have to say, best decision ever!. Burgers were very filling, loaded with ingredients and well worth the value. Fries however are delectable, thick steak fries cooked to perfection with light salt and they were rather delicious. Definitely going to revisit.

A.Always ordered snapper for the fish but one time, we paid for snapper but got a cheaper quality fish which was a bit smelly. We took it back and they refunded our money. We're back to enjoying their fish and chips again.So people, always check that you get the fish you paid for.
