Nice little pub. Little bit dark inside. All 6 meals were good - large, yummy & reasonably priced, including the kids meals. Restaurant service was great. Bar service could have been better - guy wasn't very helpful & had no personality or hospitality! Great location on main road and right next to accommodation. Would dine here again.

Called in for lunch on Monday. We had the fish burger and pub burger. Yummy as and the Duty Manager Sharon made us very welcome. They also had Waikato beer to cater for us North Islanders ☺

The pub where locals hang out - so expect a few salty characters and inexpensive tables and chairs - it is never going to win any points for style or ambience. However the fish and chips were excellent, at $23 they were pricier than I expected - but the portion size was very generous . As can't eat gluten I opted for the pan fried fish - which was gurnard. Yes I will return, as the food is good and the staff friendly.
