J.First time trying Aberdeen fish and chips, I highly recommend. The fish is what you want, fresh tarakihi in a crispy but light batter. The chips were lovely, also ordered a hamburger that came with some decent salad including beetroot! Delicious and so we will come back one more time before we return up North.

T.Best fish and chips in Gisborne. Large Tarakihi fillets. Also available are kinas from Bluff and mussels as well as fresh fish.
N.Clean premises, good hygiene and food handling practices (wearing hair nets) observed, and properly cooked fish and chips. Cooked sufficiently and well drained and you can taste that the oil changed regularly. The best fish and chip takeaways in Gisborne by a long shot!!

G.It's become a bit of a thing for us to stop here on the way home. Food is great, selection is much better than most any other shop we have been at and the people are friendly and helpful. Give them a go, you won't regret it
