J.I just need to say a massive massive thank you to the 2 wonderful lady's working this morning (27/12) I came in and order $4.50 worth of chips and my card declined. These two beautiful souls give me the chips for free and threw in a sausage for my dog ❤ you lady's just made my whole Christmas thank you so much

M.Absolutely great place for fish and chips! It is obviously a great place, because the locals keep it busy! They only use fresh fish that is delivered daily (never frozen fish...), and it is delicious! Just don’t wait until near closing time to go, because if it’s a busy day, sometimes they will run out of fish. Prices and portions were good. It was busy when we arrived around 5 PM, so we had to wait about 25 minutes for our order, but it was worth it! Kop

The fish is the freshest you'll ever get. Everything is excellently presented and, as for the takeaways, they are the best by far. The service is great. They acknowledge everyone, are friendly. j.My favourite fish and chips place! Always fresh and always satisfied after my meal. Staff is fun and the prices are awesome. The last few times they have given an extra piece of fish. The fries are always fresh and salted perfectly.
I do have a couple complaints. One, they don't answer the phone. So you have to come in and order and there is no point in calling beforehand. Secondly, sometimes they run out of fish and close early. That's happened to us a few times and we have to make the drive down to know if we are getting Bobby's or not. But, it's always worth it! 😍
J.I am gutted I didn't take any photos but the fish and chips were great! The raw fish in coconut cream was also a welcome change, personally I prefer a touch more acid. The smoked mussles were also a real treat. Overall the service is friendly and food was great.
A.I was disappointed. The reviews here are generally good but in my opinion the chips were ok, the fish was average, and the prices are high ($4.60 a scoop). I think the other takeaways in the area offer better value for money.
O.I shouldn’t rave about it cause it will just draw more customers but really this place is second to none in this area , which includes the fancy local restaurant where you would easily pay triple ….

J.This is probably the best fish and chips place in Papamoa. The fish is fresh and the chips are done just right.
My family of 2 adults and 3 children managed an order of 4 fish, 1 scoop of fries, 2 scallops and 5 prawns. The order was served piping hot and the ingredients were fresh.
We thoroughly enjoyed it. Give it a try if you are in town. It will not disappoint! 😉

M.Quick service, Good range, located in the shopping centres, easy to find and park to pick up. Great tasting fish, not to greasy, the blue gill was absolutely beautiful with a bit of lemon and some tartare sauce on the side.
