J.Great option for fish n chips in Pukekohe. Service is quick and if you call in your order it's always ready and waiting for you. Fish batter is exceptional! Always has a good crunch but isn't too greasy. Fish always tastes fresh and the chips are good. Can't really fault the food.

I.Quick and good service. One piece of gurnard and a scoop of chips is $7.70. I ordered, went to the supermarket for some wine and the order was ready on my return. The portion size was good for me. Would I return? Possibly.

M.I had made the drive from West Auckland to the Galley... Yes a journey not for the faint hearted. I heard that there was a place in Pukekohe serving the most delicious fish and chips. I set sail at 12pm for the long journey ahead. I stumbled into the Galley Fish N Chips unsure what would await me.. A friendly man greeted me I believe his name was Vanna. He was so pleasant and went the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service. I was hoping the food would be as excellent as this friendly gentleman's customer service. I ordered a deluxe Galley burger chips and calamari rings. Let me start off by telling you about the deluxe galley burger was the most delicious burger I ever had the bun was perfectly toasted giving it a nice light crunch. The two patties were so juicy and flavorful; each bite made me feel like I was in heaven which was tucked in with a juicy slice of tomato and a generous cheese slice which was perfectly melted. 10/10 on the burger. The fries were perfectly fried; you can tell the oil is changed consistently as the flavor and crunch on the chip was perfect. It was perfectly fried giving it a beautiful crispy outing but a fluffy flavorful interior. the chips were perfectly salted giving that delicious kiwi crunch and munch. Now my favorite of all... The calamari rings tasted like the were todays catch, you can tell with each bite only fresh ingredients are used. The calamari was perfectly fried giving it a crispy exterior yet a delicious flavorful interior. My only regret from todays expedition is not purchasing more food! 10/10 customer service and 10/10 food; I came in as a stranger and left as family. I will be seeing you soon Galley Fish N Chips..

S.Decent fish n chips, they don't give out lemons with takeaway (this might just be a NZ thing) and also tomato sauce is extra no complimentary. If you happen to be in the area - they have a long menu list that should cure any fish n chip cravings you may have.
