M.We took away the Hoki fish bites and chips. They are crispy but tastes a bit plain. It would be better if adding more salt and pepper:) But the best thing was that we could play the King of Fighters while we were waiting, which was supper fun!
A.The best fish and chips our family has had in New Zealand! Highly rate this spot if you are visiting or staying in Waiheke. The fish and chips were light and crisp. Missed out on one thing we ordered but other than that it was amazing! 😋
D.Great tasting fish and chips! Amount is much more than expected, the Hoki is huge, chips are nice and fresh. Also got onion rings, which are tasty. Nicely seasoned with good balance of salt and pepper.
R.I've been eating fish and chips for nearly seventy years and have never had better anywhere. The crumbed fish (world class Blue Cod from the South Island) was superb and so fresh plus perfectly fried. The chips were something else again, I don't know what they do but the seasoning on them just made them a delicacy which is amazing for a simple potato or kumara chip. The quality was outstanding for takeaways, to me as good a meal as the world class restaurant meals we have eaten on this Island, well worth the effort to find this shop in Onetangi on Waiheke.
