L.It has been a while since I have been here. Love it. It is clean and spacious and so much more than just a tool place. Was looking for saw horses had to ask staff. They are more than happy yo help. Saw a very cute table and chair set for Miss 2. Will have to go back.
S.They didn't have the item I wanted in stock but I have to give the team 5 star for looking high and low and when they really couldn't get it. They rang around the other stores and made sure they put it aside for me to come pick it up. Great service.

A.Really big hardware store. It’s great to potter around and grab things for the home. Parking is pretty good too. They pretty much have everything here. Service seems to be good for the most part.
P.Very comical actually truck driver trying too unload but no one could get pasr so had too lift his tray up not a happy man, watched timber fall of hoist, once cleared put on a van which must have been good for the suspension so I told the staff get me out as I didn't want to be on the road near the van, so in these difficult time's it was interesting. All the staff I spoke to were brilliant 👏
J.First time to go here, so i had to check and see stuff they have and what they do offer. Points for the garden centre and play area! I loved how safe and great vibes this place is compared to other mitre 10. Staff are all smiles too, though a bit disappointed as I was trying to talk to a staff but he ignored me and rather helped someone whom he "maybe" affiliates himself with. Hey, i know i am asian and i would be greatful if people will has the same treatment despite and inspite of colour. Nonetheless, this store has so many items that are needed for your home! Have a look, you'll sure have some thing to take home!
K.Very well thought out and spacious store. Parking usually isn't a problem even during peak hours. Completitive prices. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have often found that they go out of their way to help me. I have always managed to get whatever I wanted. This is my favourite local hardware stop.

R.I just wanna share my Experience at Mitre10 Botany and I would like to thank the people there specially Grant, Arthur and Karoona. My car battery drained while I am at the drive thru area of Mitre10 and the people there are very kind enough to help me. No hesitations, Arthur grab the jumper gears and put it in one of the pallet moving machine jumpstart my car and help me out. These are beyond their service but the people here share the Aroha to the people they served and go above and beyond. I dont know how will my car will start if its not for them so thank you very much Mitre10 team. I really appreciate these kind things that you’ve done and the blokes even show me how to do it the next time my car have the same situation again.

Bunnings used to be our go-to, but I've found it's worth traveling the extra distance from our home in Howick to visit this store, as the customer service and assistance is always phenomenal. So helpful, and blows the service of Bunnings Botany (and most of the other Bunnings branches) thay I have visited out of the water. Never disappointed, always a positive experience. Well done to the entire team, this is how retail should operate!

L.I bought a 50litre bag of potting mix and a large twine wrapped Royal blue pot. The gentleman who served me very kindly washed the pot inside and out, I was very grateful. I also bought 2kg Bird Seed for wild birds that I like to feed. Shop was very warm, unfortunately it was cold & windy in garden dept it needs to be cool for the plants. Good place to shop. D.Have most things that I want in stock. But I can never find anyone to help. I wanted spray-on glue. As I arrived at the locked cabinet two women store persons walked off despite my waving out to them. They were far too engrossed in their own world. One of them was clutching a bottle of bubbly! I had to run around and eventually found someone to help who called another person to come and unlock the cabinet.

M.Mitre 10 across the board either trains there staff well to give great customer service or they choose the right people for the job. We always shop here if the need requires as opposed to their competitors importantly for this reason and also pricing is reasonable.
T.Kirk was super helpful in the lawnmowing / line trimmer section. I had issues with the line trimmer and he explained the issue and showed me how to sort out the problem. Highly recommend this outstanding staff member. Happy new year folks!
S.It's great! We bought flowers, pots, ginger and seeds. Right after we came back home I immediately planted galangal red ginger in my really long pot and my dill seeds at the back and also my thyme seeds at the side of the house. Extremely sunny areas when it causes drought for 8 hours a day.🙂☺😊

g.My hubby went to the counter as he wanted to replaced broken part for shower door. He was also holding a old broken shower holder. One of the staff saw the broken shower holder and without asking, he went and got a new one for my hubby. What a great service!!

L.Help by friendly staff when I was looking for screw extractor. Before that , I was upset when asked by the cashier to get an item with barcode as the one I got had none. She could have asked the person in charge of that department or anyone of the staff to do that not the customer. W.This is our favourite Mitre 10 MEGA, the people are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, especially Michelle in the paint section, they have an excellent coffee shop as well.
R.There is usually an expert to help with queries, so I like going there. They carry a very good range of tools. The new Columbus Coffee Shop next to the garden centre is worth a visit. Also near the coffee shop is a good kids playground. From the noise, the kids were having a great time.
J.As of this review, this store was acquired by a new owner. As a result, customer service has since improved. Staff are generally helpful and enthusiastic. A few have excellent product knowledge and will direct you to the proper aisle. Moving stocks in the shelving displays should be done after store hours as it may be a safety issue.

k.Huge store great for Do it yourself projects. Can get everything you need from here. We have had to fit a new bathroom and the staff there helped show us bathroom options. And quoted up everything for it. Can also get paint colour testers for options that your not sure on. Great shop and lovely staff.

G.Hardware mega stores are not like supermarkets: the layout differs from store to store. But then I like exploring. I only needed some screws and a drill bit, both easily found. I had time to go to the cafe which was clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and the Belgian chocolate drink worth trying again sometime.
G.Walked in and it's good to see this mitre 10 has cottoned onto being friendly and helpful to shoppers. Asked the guy at the door where to find the WD40 contact cleaner..... aisle 23... boom, job done. In and out like a robbers dog.

J.Mitre 10 Mega Botany has an amazing variety of trade tools for just about any job you have to do, be it industrial or for work at home in your own backyard. Watch the size and handling of their hand tools for gardening for women though. While Mitre 10 may be slightly cheaper, the quality, size and ease of handling for their spades, rakes, grubbers, garden forks, etc for a middle-aged female, are not as convenient or user-friendly as those that I used to buy from Hammer Hardware in Howick. I found Mitre 10's hand tools too heavy and too big for me. They are designed for tall strong men. Unfortunately the owners of Hammer Hardware sold up, possibly due to Covid-19 Lockdowns. Mitre 10 also has a lovely variety of plant pots, but I still find them far too expensive and end up buying mine online elsewhere at a fraction of the cost.
Mitre 10's saving grace is the variety and quality of their compost and potting mix. They have a wonderful selection of plants, with frequent bargain sales of seasonal flowers that can be as cheap as $1 a punnet. I bought Salvia and Zinnia from here at this price! Veggie seedlings can often be around $2 a punnet of 6 seedlings. It's so worth a visit!

E.After the garden centre rebuilt, much ni er. I find it difficult to justify value for money for the products offer as I can get similar for cheaper at Bunnings. Staff can a nuisance especially when you have an urgent need and wanted to get in and pit from there quickly. Airports loyalty systems sucks as you MUST have your card with you.
B.What a fantastic experience we had that keeps MITRE10 on top the competition.
Its the people that matters. LEIA in the paint section has gone over and above to help us choose the right stain choice for our deck and fence. She was very professional and understood our needs.

M.Went to Manukau first, given run around twice for Garden Arch supposedly in stock, but not physically available. Daughter called Botany. From her phone call to our visit there, we were absolutely rapt with the service by Botany! From the beautiful soul in Garden centre, to Marie who helped us choose deck cleaner, to the Lads in Drive through, the service was just awesome. Keep up the great work Mega-Botany 😊😊

G.I visit this store almost every weekend and always check my receipt because of incorrect pricing on shelves. The owner became very irritated when I cottoned on to this fraudulent behaviour. Other than that the product range is ok. Bunnings is cheaper though but only by a small amount that doesn't warrant the extra drive.
S.Went in for a dual ratchet spanner came out with a paint roller for the windowsill i was supposed to do last year, a bevel, an engineering scribe and a new tape measure ... Forgot the ratchet spanner though.

C.It's an OK store, but I will add that I have never been a big fan of Mitre10, and this MEGA store doesn't really change that. I am more at home in similar-sized green-coloured opposition stores. On the one occasion I've needed assistance from staff, I received mediocre attention, like I was interrupting their busy day, and their conversation with equally busy co-worker.
M.Unfortunately I had to wait for around 15 minutes to get assistance on one of the products I wanted to buy, rest of the experience was good.
S.If you're after anything other than BBQs or outdoor furniture, it doesn't really have a the MEGA range. In fact my gf was even told, "this store doesn't have the full range, it's not a MEGA", but the sign says...?
If you live close by, it's got enough of what you'd need to be convenient. But if you have to drive either way, bunnings is just all little further up the road.

I"d love to give them 100 n million stars .last month (Nov) i bought paint spray gun off the shelve.
Maybe i used it wrongly or the iteam was not as perfect .
I went bek to botany mega store to seek for best soultion on this issue .
The paint department female assistance without any hassel refunded the whole iteam and suggested on other best outcum .
I was amazed to see the stafs rapid service.

S.Fair range, however unless an item is on special they seem a bit off the mark on day to day pricing. Good service thou. Especially on a special order I placed with them excellent service.
U.27Jul15 and 18Jan16 Big, easy to find plenty of everything, living or inanimate, almost unlimited parking spaces, friendly and helpful staff, bargain bins tht make you stop, reasonable prices (but why are light bulbs so expensive) and open long hours. Awful loyalty scheme based on Fly Buys.

D.It is always a pleasure to come to Mitre 10 Mega at Botany. Team is VERY professional and provides excellent service. I pick Mitre 10 Botany over Bunnings every single time, Bunnings level of service is simply non existent. DO NOT GO TO BUNNINGS!!! Please keep up the good work and hold a bigger range of products, especially fire starters and so on for BBQ, as i have to go to Bunnings sometimes simply because you wouldnt have some products.
