I visited the Manukau store today in search of paint and accessories but was not sure of colour matches and options available. I was assisted by Tiffany who works at the Paint Department. She was absolutely brilliant and her Customer Service skills are extraordinary. She was well informed and treated me with empathy . She advised me on what I should get and offered friendly advise from personal experience and preferences. She was never in a hurry and was very patient when explaining the various differences of product options available to me. Thank you Tiffany, for your great service.

Usually has what you need. The layout is a little confusing at times. But the staff are friendly and help you find your way, or give some helpful advice. Has a nice cafe inside by the garden centre which is great for a little treat ☺️

Helpful and friendly garden centre staff. Goes out of way to assist and make customer happy. Checkout operators could learn some service focus from them. Never fail to please me each time I go out of my way to buy something there. Unfortunately, many run next door but could not see some great value high quality products from the brands sold here for just a fraction of price more than them!

Had an issue with a BBQ stand I bought from here. Went back to get it sorted. Harrison was super helpful. He got me a spare part and sent us off in 15mins. Wonderful customer service.

Great customer service. I never got that kind of customer service at bunnings next door... I went to get 30 seconds roof spray..the customer service girl did her very best to find but couldn't. I will definitely now first come to mitre 10.

Carpark great; store has lots of variety but prices not that compedative with Bunnings I think they have to give their staff training move them around so they know more about the products they have in stock and what they do and used for

Visited during the first COVID-19 lockdown around March/April 2020 to purchase masks, the prices apart from that are fairly cheap probably to stay in competition with Bunnings Warehouse. It doesn't have as much items and building materials as Bunnings but if Bunnings doesn't have something the chance of finding it here is almost guaranteed. For tradies, there is a drive through into the woodwork and building materials foyer is to collect large items and heavy building materials.

Came across helpful staff today, down at the timber end. Good service. Actually, I noticed a difference today between Bunnings and Mitre 10, Mitre 10 were controlling their queue and contact tracing, good on your Security. I'm afraid Bunnings wasn't, was very crowded in there, hopefully that doesn't come back to bite.

I can see Mitre10 now has much more variety of goods than before. Eg. Makita tools and etc. Also the garden furniture and BBQ displays are the unique shopping point compared to Bunnings.

Helpful place, have always been here. We got our full kitchen from here. Maybe, it not comparable with high end brand. It offers good quality products at reasonable price attached with 10-15 year manufacturing warranty.

If price and departments passing you around because they have no clue is what you're after then this is not the place for you. If you're after a true Kiwi experience with departments knowing exactly what you're after i.e. you could be in the garden section asking for a bloody bolt and you will be taken to exactly to the exact aisle and shelf that you need. With most if not all items at hand there is no need to special order.

The YouTube ad was wonderful thats why I went there but the service from the counter was terrible. 2 check out operators having a great conversation while, I stood waiting with 4 of my grandchildren ranging from 4years to 12years. Frustrated finally a kind smiling operator tended to me quickly. She was the star. A far cry from the who were in deep conversation with each other. Get trained to serve your customers first especially if they have children hanging around them like myself. 😯😣

From the moment I walked in I received excellent service from everyone I dealt with, especially from the assistant originally from South Africa. He assisted me in a department that was not his own, he came over to see if everything was okay when he saw me standing by the door and then he chatted to me whilst I waited for my order to be brought to me. 1Feb16 and 24Oct16 Patient and hard working staff at this store as usual despite today being NZ Labour day 2016 9( always on a Monday,). Went with a friend to this store to buy dressed timber lengths for a prototype wooden bed project. What a helpful crew. In the end all the lengths had to go back into their racks but it was no problem to the yardman. So my mate and I walked to the other end of the store where there's a cafe we had coffee and shared a Louise cake slice. Yum. This cafe has got better and better over the years.

You can find here garden tools with a price of 250 NZD per piece, tools over 1000 NZD and other stuff ridiculously overpriced. Good friendly staff and educated workers. I was very happy shopping at manukau mega mitre 10 today. They couldn't have been more helpful. Felt like 6 staff for every customer at every corner of the place, and all smiling and ready to guide us to what we wanted to buy. Prices are great! Some really great specials! And the cafe, I have to mention, was superb! Even though we fussed about making up our minds, and ended up giving a scrambled order, not only did they get it right, and with a smile, but it came straight to our table almost before we got there!!! 10 out of 10 mega mitre 10!

Came here for pool chemicals. Poolstar superblue is a must for preventing pools going green. After a slight distraction at the Christmas light bling display. I asked a friendly staff member where is the pool section. I was not just told but lead there. Great stuff as being a crazed Aucklander who is always in a rush I had my time saving chems and ready to head to the checkout. There's something about being in and straight out that just doesn't seem right. So I wondered around the store taking a few pics of what might interest you. Not being in a crowded store with big queues. Am I really in Aucks. Feels more like a sedated rural shop. Anyways. Off to the checkout pay my bill. And go into a draw for $1000 gift card. Now that could really be exciting. Don't tell any body, but $1000 gift card sounds great for me or you too. Good luck friends

Homegrown NZ Companies are my go to when spending my dollars. I find it incredibly frustrating the "lack" of "customer service" when you walk into a Mitre 10 store. You can be wondering around & staff members will walk past totally ignoring you. Your competiton Bunnings excel at customer service if you look lost they will ask if you need help then send to the aisle or accompany you. So for now this is where I'll be spending my money
