This is always a popular place for local to shop especially Saturday and Sunday. The place is always well stocked. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The place is big. I always need to find a staff to help me to locate the item. I do miss the Columbus cafe inside the shop. I used to be able to take my family to go there for brunch. However, due to store renovation, there can only serve coffees.

New garden furniture centre very impressive. Lots of choice. But so big. Staff helpful, but overwhelmed by choice. Some staff really helpful, others frankly a bit out of their depth. Garden centre decent, and good value for Billy basic stuff.

If you need anything kitchens and bathrooms go and see May at Mite10 Mt Wellington. She helped me with all my strange requests, got all the catalogues out, called suppliers and arranged special orders. She truly went above and beyond-even came to see me personally when I collected my order. She's a great asset to the team who are all lovely. Thanks so much May!

Second time shopping here doing click and collect and I was astonished how there is still no staff or security looking after the click and collect station. Waited for a couple of minutes and decided to just grab my order and drive off. A staff saw me when I grab my last order but didn't bother asking if it's my order or if someone is assisting me. Few hours after I left, I got a call from the customer service asking if I took my order I said yes cause no one is there to assist me. Got told off to wait for a staff to assist me before grabbing my order. I told her I waited for a couple of minutes already and no one is bothered to help me. People do click and collect to save time shopping but waiting for a staff to assist you is not saving time.

Okay so just phoned. First phone call I spoke to a lady who said that she has a phone issue where she can't hear what people are saying on the phone so hangs up on people instead of fixing the issue. Next phone call another lady had no idea what i was talking about but her colleague then said the answer straight away which was great but then hung up while I was saying thank you? So maybe customer service over the phone needs to improve. The store itself is fine though

Went in to my local Mitre 10 last weekend during their “$15 voucher for every $100 spent” promo, to look for a gazebo. Raj P and Aman had amazing customer service and were very helpful with measuring specific areas I needed. I bought the one I wanted and they offered to deliver it for free as my place was less than 4mins away and I also got $500 in vouchers from the promotion! I was told delivery would be some time the following week and during another drop off if the truck was passing by (which was no issue at all) but it was delivered the next day - and the guys were super efficient with unloading. Highly recommend this store for your outdoor furniture needs!

We had trouble with our water hose and the connector. We met Roy who works in the garden section of Mitre 10. He was extremely helpful and patient with us. Very grateful for his help. I couldn't find a place in the Mitre 10 website to feedback about Roy thus posting it here.

If you are shopping instore then I would give it 5-stars because of the range and staff. However I have had multiple bad experiences with poor deliveries and even worse with Click and Collect. For C&C you have to go to the trade counter and the staff are not at all helpful and it's a real bother for them to find your order. It's just terrible!

Really enjoy going to Mitre10 MEGA in Lunn Avenue. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I like the store with spacious outdoor garden, store is always bright and staff in every aisle. Plenty of parking and car trailor on hire. Few good stores around there as well and bars and restaurants. I hope Mitre10 starts allowing dogs in the store.

Just about anything you need can be found here. Helpful assistance provided. Recently renovated, the new garden centre is a must to visit. The in store coffee shop has an extensive range to satisfy everyone. Well worth a visit if this is not your regular store!

Quite a large store on Lunn Ave. it is a pain to get out of though. We had an online order and you are able to pick it up by the warehouse area. The item came with a trolley so it was easy enough to push it back to the car even if it wasn't at the parking spot.

Ever since buying our first house a couple months back, I've been frequenting hardware stores nearly every weekend and in my first time into this My Wellington Mitre 10, I was pleasantly surprised by the well presented layout, especially with the outdoor furniture and BBQs section. It looked more thoughtfully arranged for browsing than other stores I've seen. They also hand a special little Christmas display section in the store too. Overall, what I'm now realising is that while Mitre 10 prices seem to be higher than their main competitor, they are putting more into the shopping and assistance experience. Now, if I can just avoid political discussions with the staff once they realise I'm from the States and begin asking...

I normally don't go this far from home to shop at a Mitre 10 store but nowhere else had the grease I wanted in stock. They confirmed by phone and offered to hold some for me, so off I went. This place is huge, and full of interesting stuff. It is also staffed by the friendliest people you could want to meet and give money to. I met the guy who promised to hold the grease for me as I was browsing for other things. I saw my neighbour too, who works there, but he was too busy helping people to chat to me! I'll go there again when my local store doesn't have what I want.

Bought a Melamine 2 door cupboard last week with great help from the girl in that department and went back to get extra shelving yesterday. Same girl showed me to the timber department and the sheets of Melamine and arranged for a very helpful guy to actually cut it into 3 exact size shelves so it would fit into my little Honda. Just solved such a problem for me and so pleasantly. Went back later to get shelf supports and the gentleman told me aisle 4 and then took the trouble to follow me down to make sure I was looking in the right place (I wasn't) What a great retail experience, so rare these days.

I love this place because most of the shop assistants are very knowledgeable. Its not about showing the right aisle but about helping you get exactly the right product. Though the pricing at Bunnings might be good, I am afraid to say their shop assistants are pretty clueless (mt wellington).

Great store especially being close to Wet&Forget, nice friendly and knowledgeable staff being very helpful, helps also that there is a Columbus coffee shop inside with an very nice Barista who is friendly and enthusiastic plus good at his work. Not necessarily the biggest Mitre 10 in Auckland but very handy with a very good, wide variety of products for all ones needs, from contractors to just your everyday home handyman.

Pretty shody rear entrance. Lack of signage of where entrance is to store, so ended up missing first pass. Also, your greeted with multiple speed humps that was probably put there due to speeding in and out? Might as well change it to an entry only entrance as there is a blind corner further up the entry. Otherwise just like any mitre10 nicely laid out and good customer service + shop/support local.

Went to exchange a bbq as the vent was faulty. The first thing the lady at the returns section said as I appoarched was a "Yeah?". After I proceeded to state my situation, she delagates me over to her colleague Al which was the only redeeming factor of my experience there. He was extremely helpful and friendly. During our conversation about bbqs, we were interrupted multiple times from other colleagues who were double checking things with him. Man deserves the a raise. Can't say the same about his colleagues though.

My husband and I went here and if we could give this cafe a rating higher than 5 star we would. The food was presented in a 5 star fashion and my husband who loves waffles said that their waffles were the best he has ever had. My summer salad was far more than I expected. Note only was the food fantastic but the service was also 5 star. Well done guys you made out experience exceedingly enjoyable in the lovely garden setting. We will be back.

A go to with my family. Recently bought a panel heater from this store. I had to go back there because it was missing a particular screw that our panel needed. I didn't have a receipt, however they didn't need it. I showed them the booklet it came with the panel heater. That was enough for them to help me out. Great store and a fantastic team!

One of my favourite places to wander around. There are a lot of staff about ready to help. The aisles are wide and uncluttered and they have an awesome range. Their outside nursery area is excellent and there is usually a good price on large mulch and potting bags. They have a good Columbus Coffee cafe on site as well as clean public toilet facilities.

Went there with a kitchen mixer which was leaking. I think the gentleman's name was Raj who helped us out yesterday in plumbing section. He was very kind to dismantle the broken cartridge and replaced with with a new one from the store. We only had to pay for the part and this saved us a few hundred dollars at least no doubt. I prefer here than Bunnings. I found that the staff at Mitre 10 are more readily to approach you and help. Twice whilst looking for two different items in two different sections I must have looked lost so staff approached to assist. Other staff members were also knowledgeable when I asked for items. I also prefer the playground which is toddler friendly for my 2year old.

As a builder ive always loved going into Mitre 10 Mega as its like a toy shop to me. Always something new to look at and perhaps buy. I'm from Wellington and have only recently started shopping at Mega Mt Wellington. If I had one small criticism it would be that the trade side staff don't appear to enjoy their jobs. Definitely a lack of happiness whilst dealing with customers (except one fella that ill dealt with the other day, he was happy and very helpful) A smile doesn't cost a thing. Maybe thats just way it is there but its a new experience for me compared to my home town Mega. Could that my dad jokes just aren't that funny i guess.

I always enjoy the garden centre and the Columbus cafe located there. The small playground always seems to be popular and seating availability for brunch is good. Can get a little busy. Always plenty of specials on at Mitre10 and good and varied stock. Just the place too to get replacement handles for pot lids and all sorts of DIY.

After scouting the shelves looking for something that would work. Tej working on floor assistants came to my rescue. Great having Mitre 10 and Bunnings so close to each other

I purchased a DeWalt pressure washer from Mitre 10 yesterday. When I assembled it the on/off switch molding was broken. I repaired it to get the machine usable. I screwed the pressure hose to the handle finger tight. When I tried to remove it again the hose had seized on the thread. I put a spanner on the nut on the handle and used some multi-grips to try and loosed it. No luck, rather the feed pipe broke out of the handle. The feed pipe is a small diameter light aluminium tube. The hose is still seized onto the feed into the handle. I took it back to Mitre 10. They told me they would send it away. I explained that I needed to use the pressure washer today. They weren't interested. I told them it was poor service for a new faulty item and that I would post this review. They told me that I was threatening them. This is a followup post. Head office agreed the thread had seized and replaced the affected part. Thank you.

This is one of my regular haunts and I have generally had very good assistance from staff. Today was exceptional. I was looking for a water blaster with my wife. Ron helped me understand some basics and showed me features of the 2 brands I was specifically interested in following up. He went out of his way to explain and demonstrate the different products I was searching for and then went the second mile in assisting me with the assembly and delivery of the product which was in kitset form. I didnt catch the guys name out where the wood (drive through area) is but man he was super helpful and super friendly. Can-do guy quickly made a good recommendation and cut the MDF wood to the size I needed. I hope you can find out who he is and pass this on. The size was 1200x530, young guy mid 20s maybe. Thanks to him I will be coming back to Bunnings.

For a comparison between mitre 10 & bunning warehouse in the mt wellington area you definately would want to go to mitre 10. People in mitre 10 are just so much more helpful. On the other hand bunnings mt wellington you have to hunt for staff to help you it can easily take you 15 min of tailing someone before you can get the help you need it really sucks. Staffs almost never approach you to help you they just walk past. Hate to say this but im not going back to bunnings mt wellington unless miter 10 doesnt have what i need.

car parks easily turn in to chaos and exit on Lunn Ave. Don't attempt to turn right into Lunn Ave which you would easily stuck there for 10min to make a turn. it's lot quicker to turn left into Lunn Ave, turn around further up the road then come back.
