Visited here last night and cannot tell you how happy I was with the customer service we experienced. Greeted as soon as we walked in with happy smiling faces. We walked around for about a minute before an employee stopped what they were doing approached and helped us. We needed to go out their back door and it was raining, a few employees offered us a umbrella which I thought was very very thoughtful. They didn't have what we were looking for but another employee didn't waste no time checking her computer to see if other stores had stock. While leaving we got sent on our way with again smiling faces and farewells. Will never forget it!! Customer service was beyond amazing. If you were working 3.6.22 around 1730 those 7 employees we come across... You were all just AMAZING 💕💕💕

I needed an item 2 other mitre 10 shops had been unable to provide..onehunga smaller but in desperation went there. Great guy in kitchen area..looked everywhere for the item listed on his computer. Eventually found on a top shelf..dusty but intact. One very happy customer.

I went to the trade yard to purchase some timber for my d.i.y project and honestly was one of the best experiences I’ve had from mitre 10 . A young boy with blonde hair was just beyond helpful and provided great customer service !

Apart from all the usual things you can get from Mitre 10, this one also has a polystyrene recycle bin. We had a lot of packaging to dispose of and found this out online, so I brought a massive box into the store - not only did we leave without any polystyrene, but a helpful staff member even cut up and disposed of the cardboard I brought it in.

Very helpful staff, doing a great job to keep is diy'ers going during level 3... Store back to normal at orange, masks required and correctly worn by everyone when we have been in. Plenty of staff around to help with questions.

Better than Mitre 10 Mt Wellington re customer service... took the time to discuss my concerns while shopping for a petrol lawnmower for my large lawm, let us take the showroom model, & ONLY recommended the 4 stroke oil... NOT like Mt Wellington, whose floor manager in the tools section, wouldn't let me take the floor model & just walked away when we said no thank you to the 4 stroke leaving us feeling dismissed Soo we gapped it out of there & went to MITRE 10 ONEHUNGA who were warm, helpful & informative AND we got to wheel out the lawnmower of our choice

Great service during Level 3 lockdown. Arrived in my allocated time slot and the service was quick and efficient. I made mistake and ordered the wrong product, admitted this to see if I could exchange it for the correct one and they didn't hesitate. Went above an beyond, very impressed.

A typical Mitre 10 store ,walk through the front doors and you see 2 check out aisles with 2 staffers who welcome you to the store. As is usual the store is open plan and is well lit. The aisles are well marked with signs advising you what each aisle is stocked with, so finding something is very easy just look up. If you need help all you have to do is ask a Staff member who is always happy to help or answer a query you may have.

Went looking for an electric jigsaw. Great help from the guys but unfortunately quite depleted on stock the 3 different brands within my budget all out of stock. Accepted the model on show but could not find the box therefore no blades, instructions etc. In the end I left the store empty handed and went somewhere else.

Mitre 10 - please learn how to look after female customers. I've lived in Onehunga 30 years and I'm usually there to get stuff for the husband. It takes forever for someone to serve me. I end up going to Bunnings. Stop losing business on purpose. You could save on marketing costs by having in-store service strategy. Shout out to the old guard there, you guys are the only reason stars above appear. Also the ladies in the gardening dept. are awesome.

Everything you need. Smaller than most other Mitre10 places but still has everything you need. Have been here 4 times in the last 2months and have never had to wait more than a minute to get to the front counter. No lines. But still busy. Great layout plenty of parking also.

Stopped by 4 lightbulb & ended up with few more items not intended ... the store was very clean & organized something rare at this time of year, there were specials that were not on my list 2day but 4 later date so wasn't going to pass up the chance ... best of all I managed 2 grab living gifts (plants) 4 xmas gifts so pleasantly surprised but absolutely delighted. I was very impressed with the staffs knowledge and enthusiasm as well as willingness to assist. While they were extremely helpful, they were never pushy and left me to browse without hovering. What impressed me most was when a young chap had already clocked off for the night but as there was a slight queue (2 people long) at the checkouts he was prepared to jump in and help anyway. The staff here are always friendly. They will also get things in for you if they dont have them. Staff also offer to take big things out to your car for you and recognise repeat customers. This may not be a Mega Store but they are a great local store.

Sorted out a hose we haven't been able to get working since purchasing at the Home Show 2 years ago. Not even one of their hoses. Also tested it just to be sure. Fantastic service.

The freezer capacity in my fridge/freezer is very small; with self isolation and lockdown I called many stores around Auckland looking to buy a mini under bar freezer; completely out of stock; I missed out on two shop floor demos at some Mitre 10 stores; was advised there was one at Grove Mitre 10; called them and missed out on that also. The very nice store Manager, Adrian, mentioned he had placed an order for more; they may/may not arrive on Tuesday; he did take down my name/number. Monday I called and spoke with Liam who advised they hadn't heard if stock was arriving; he would let me know if they did. I panicked but realised it was not meant to be. Tuesday was the call that restored my faith in good people as stock had arrived and Liam had put one aside for me. He was so professional, calm, helpful throughout the calls; put it in the back of the car for me. So very thankful to Grove Mitre 10 :) Keep safe everyone.

Mitre 10 customer service was brilliant, The guy was patience and understanding to my needs. He knew exactly what I wanted and they would stock the item if I needed more. He even gave tips on bathroom lighting. The lady on the teller gave a smile and gave me information about entering a competition and did I have my fly buys card. Most outlets have gone away from asking you about flybuys which I was appreciate of her reminder. They have a sale going on at the moment and parking is good to find. I gave the 5 as the customer service was not pushy or in your face today's employees made me welcome to be shopping at there store. The Store was clean, organised and we'll branded of there products and discounted promise.

I like this hardware store, mostly because it's my local hardware store. Most of the staff seem to know me and are friendly. Allways someone to give helpful advice and never pushy. I have a small vehicle and live in a apartment (so no room) whenever I have needed timber (for shelves or whatever) they have cut it to length for me ( meaning I can get it in my car and also into the apartment lift). Also like that the plants that I buy from here are aclimatised to my neighbourhood and generally thrive.

Staff at this store are quick to say hello + offer assistance if required. Located on the lesser Onehunga traffic roads making it less of a crush to get to with enough car parking outside for all but the busiest of days. As a local construction company we highly recommend the grove mitre 10 to all tradies. Most mitre 10s are focussed on retail and lack a good trade department. The guys in the yard are amazing and the trade reps go the extra mile. Keep up the good work!

Run by friendly staff, and located in the outskirts of Onehunga, this branch is quite smaller than your conventional Mitre 10. Still has most of the goods that you would be looking for, but it is worth giving a call before visiting if you're looking for something specific.
