Went twice this weekend - both days awesome service! Went in there with no idea as we need bulbs for the kitchen and the salt lamps as well as a plant and came out with exactly what I needed!!

It's a small store compared with many Mitre 10 locations so expect a smaller range available. Still, they have most things you will need in terms of essential tools and garden stuff.

Small store but has a decent selection of the main things you’d expect for a store that size. Arrived early and the doors opened a couple minutes late but I wasn’t in a hurry. The staff were proactively helpful directing me to what I was looking for. By the time I selected my choice and went to check out the tills weren't operating and took a 5 min wait. Bought 2 x 18m rope lights as they were priced really cheap online at $24 each. Was overcharged to by $28 to start with and had to go back from the car when I noticed. The refund was painless and easy. I think it’s under new ownership hence the teething issues. Hence the 3.5 stars rounded up to 4. If they were sharper with opening times, getting tills operational in time and charging correct price they would have got 5 stars

The staff member I spoke to at the paint kiosk was so unbelievably helpful, and the checkout operator is always welcoming, friendly and polite. The store itself can run a little bare boned, and often runs out of BBQ coals - but for basics, it's all you need.

I am definitely a more "d.i.y"kind of guy and there isn't a place better to shop than Mitre 10. They have an excellent range of products and loads of staff ready to answer any questions that you may have. Friendly service on top of very low prices.

Great place to buy gardening, machinery, tools, timber, indoor and outdoor furniture, paints, paint accessories, gardening tools, automotive accessories, pet accessories, doors, sliding doors, concrete bags, windows, many different fittings for plumbing, vanities, toilets, lighting, roofing, different woods/ timber for houses and commercial, varnishes and many more things to build your house or decorate or renovate your house. Mitre 10 started in 1959 and is a kiwi owned company still today. Mitre 10 will beat competitors prices by 15% on the same item or product. Sometimes they have sausage sizzle and fizzy drinks for sale. They also offer home decoration, painting and gardening. They are open from 7am to 6pm 7 days a week but weekend times might change. They conveniently located around Auckland and New Zealand. There are 366 stores through out new Zealand. For example there are 28 stores in auckland at convenient locations and massive stores. The mitre 10 is a major New Zealand chain for home improvements stores established in 1959. It employs close to five thousand team members combined and functions as a cooperative with over 366 stores run by over 60 local owner operators or franchises. It is an entirely separate company from the Australian mitre 10 home improvement stores. We are New Zealand biggest hardware store in the 70s thru to now. You will get better deals at mitre 10 and truly recommend shopping here for all your household needs. Have a Good day.
