I have purchased several times and had no problems and the products were as described, so have been a happy camper. However my last purchase of the netball hoop left us hugely disappointed. This product was due to arrive on 23 Dec so we purchased this for our daughters’ Christmas present. However on Christmas eve we haven’t heard anything and were left scrambling to buy something else. We later we received an email saying this has been delayed to 7th Jan. We finally received this in the last week of January. THEN, when we were assembling the set, 2 pieces of poles wouldn’t fit - it looked like a factory defect where there was a slight dent/indentation that caused them not to fit 😩. My emails to them re this issue and another item we were expecting in the same shipment that was missing went ignored. It is now 12 days since that email. We will have to try today to use a hammer or something to try to fix that netball hoop 😕. It’s a shame that the customer service is so poor. The website and products are generally great. We purchased earlier the trellis kit and loved it. There needs to be an improvement in the post sale and customer service

I bought the 1.8m workbench for my home office desk as it has features that make it more useful than the commercial equivalents – tying power leads and supplies to the horizontal rail and off the floor is one example, able to adjust the height easily another. The bench is everything I expected & my 15-YO enjoyed doing the assembling. My wife was surprised at the attractive finish to the surface.

We ordered the Pegasus outdoor seating with table. recently. Great tracking system with constant updates. The delivery guys were great. I bought the 1.8m fill ‘n chill table and was very happy and impressed with my purchase. I ordered it online for click and collect and it was ready for me the next day. Very efficient service. The team members carried the table to my car for me. The Trade Tested General Manager emailed me directly, a couple of weeks after purchasing, to check in to see if I had any issues with the table but it is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I have no complaints at all and appreciate the team for providing excellent customer service and making the process easy. 😊

Really happy with this purchase and the service from TradeTested. The Hyundai 140L electric concrete mixer was just right for the job I needed it for - setting foundation posts. It easily mixed a barrow load so we got the job done quite quickly. I didn't assemble it as my children (adult) decided to do it for me after it was delivered and they got it right first time. And they are not experts by any means. The motor seems fine and the machine is easy to clean. I'll also be using it to mix things other than concrete and expect it to handle these jobs with ease.

My Wife and I purchased a 3M by 4M charcoal louvre and we love it. We put it up together and didn't have too many problems at all. No significant arguments to report whatsoever :-). I recently bought the Hyundai Lawnmower 510mm 196cc self-propelled and it is one of the best investment for the garden. We have a big section and the Hyundai performs as advertised. Whilst the mower is heavy but the self-propelled mechanism makes it so easy to move around especially on a flat surface. So far, I have no problem with the setting up and usage. I would recommend this model unreservedly. Last but not least, the staff at Trade Tested are friendly and extremely helpful. Good to find a company that can be trusted and relied on. I recently purchased a retractable 20 m hose for he rear of my property from Trade Tested. It is absolutely brilliant, it makes watering so much easier, as it takes me ages to water the last thing I feel like doing is winding the hose up at the end. With the retractable I no longer get water/mud splashed over me and its just so easy to put away. Also, about a couple of weeks after my purchase I received an email from Trade Tested enquiring if there were any issues and was I happy with the hose. Dear Richard I had purchased the bag online through Trade Tested so that it can be delivered to my daughter in law, in NZ. I live in Suva, Fiji and my daughter in law sent the bag to me the same week she received the bags. I love the bags I just read about it and just wanted to try it out. So I put the cabbage seeds, chili seeds and capsicum straight in and they grew awesomely. For 3 days there was rain in Suva and I was worried about the plants and to my surprise they were still standing strong. I took these pictures today after the heavy rain. Steel Shelving Unit Heavy Duty 183cm x 182cm x 54cm The item was delivered door to door. Great, as I live in the Hokianga and Auckland is over 4 hours drive away. I still couldn't have picked it up during lockdown, Shelving is sturdy and it was fairly easy to assemble. Shelving parts are machined accurately.....no burrs, sharp edges or mismatching dimensions. And the powder coating just gives a high quality appearance. I'm very happy and the wife is impressed. Would buy another easily.

So unfortunately we were affected by the recent storm. I have tried to remedy with the company a fix, and they have said they can send out replacement parts but these will take 4-6 months to arrive for the heavy duty marquee. So it seems I have no other option then to buy another at a premium to where I had purchased before as waiting 4-6 months for parts is just not acceptable. Will alter this if remedy has been satisfactory, but seems as though there return policy doesn't allow for fixing of such products within a reasonable time. Edited: spoke to the manager there and manage to sort it all out after about 13 phone calls hence the 4 star, but she was awesome. Rachael was her name, looked after me and got it sorted within a day, and even better without a charge to myself. She definitely pulled some strings so really appreciate that, would have been out of business if that wasn’t possible. Thank you for sorting it out.

First time ordering from trade tested and never again. A product that I was suppose to receive in 1-2 business still hasnt arrived after 15 with no ETA as to when it will arrive. Every time I have called up I am told I will be called back by the end of the day by the freight team and I never get a call. The support team on the other hand are pleasant to deal with. During the lockdown in Auckland I purchased a ceramic birdbath with a solar fountain - it is great and we LOVE it. I was very impressed with the efficiency from TradeTested. Confirming my order fast and giving me instructions for pickup. On arrival at their HUGE warehouse, I was directed first at the gate, then into an appropriate carpark, then sent inside with my Click and Collect details. Once they were put into the computer I was asked to return to my car with the boot open. Shortly after my birdbath arrived placed in my boot and I was sent on my merry way. Happy with the service. Our experience with Trade Tested is probably different to most because we had issues receiving the product. Trade Tested sent the part we ordered, but it wasn't delivered and went missing...twice. They assisted with tracking it down and sent it the second time only for the courier to deliver it to the wrong address again. When I sent another enquiry they contacted me back straight away. They had sent it and it was found delivered to my neighbours. All the time they maintained contact and friendly service , which made a stressful situation way less stressful. We could not find a storage unit for our bikes. Because it was going on the front lawn we needed something that looked great. The little cabin we bought from Trade Tested is perfect, looks like a wee house, really classy. Quality materials and easy to assemble with some building/maintenance knowledge. I recently purchased a Hyundai electric log splitter from Trade Tested. I never even realised that such a thing existed until I saw one on an English tv programme. Did a Google search and found this one which is just what I wanted. It arrived promptly even though I ordered it Christmas Eve. Great tracking and communication from carrier. Made a table to set it on and it does just what I wanted it to. I am in the elderly age bracket and have been using an axe to reduce any large pieces of wood for my fireplace. This does it so easily and safely. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who is in a similar situation as I am.

Although there was a short delay due to demand for the product, I was kept informed and my purchase was delivered safely right to my front door. I am really happy with the pop up compost, and highly recommend it! Made of durable polyethylene, it holds the heat. It’s lightweight and has a pair of handles, so that you can move your compost bin around easily. These are great for small gardens. I have told everyone how great it is and waiting for trade tested to get more in to order another one, so when one is processing I can fill another. The KETER Factor 6x6 Shed my wife and I erected in about five hours despite my 76 year old bad back. It sits on a flat paved area and looks really good. Waterproofness has been severely tested over the past three weeks with extraordinarily heavy squalls and not a drop inside and it is well ventilated. Sized to take our bikes and business records storage it works well. And yes the side walls are quite thin and flexible but with common sense use that would not be a problem. Flagpole Sectional 7.6m. I am very happy with the flagpole. Being used as part of an antenna system holding an EFHW long wire aerial. It is under tension with a slight bow in the vertical but has held up in strong winds. The construction is lightweight but is doing the job that I require of it. I’ve purchased a couple of items from Trade Tested now, a large marquee and more recently a GreenWorks 40v mower, which also came with a free matching weed eater (not the reason for purchase, I was actually going to buy it as well then saw that it actually came free with the mower) We were in level 4 at the time so I didn’t expect delivery to be swift, but surprisingly it arrived less than a week later. Really happy with the mower, it’s solidly built and cuts really well, a little bit of general assembly required, as in putting the handle on but it is in no way difficult. We have a large 1/4 acre section so the only regret is that I didn’t purchase an extra battery, which I will be doing, as one charge doesn’t do the whole lawn. I’d say it mows for maybe 30-40 mins non stop before you need to recharge. Overall I’m stoked with both items I’ve purchased and the service pre and post has been excellent, would definitely recommend to others and will be shopping with them again in the near future.

Purchased the lea cabin for $15000, while the cabin itself is of a good qaulity can't say the same for after sales service. I was short supplied the first piece to start the build so nothing could be done until I could get this, it took 1-2 days to get a reponse e-mails so after a week of that I rang instead and was told they hadn't gotten around to checking mail, this from the surpport team, I was finally told it would normally be a 10 day lead time to get another piece made. In the end I purchased timber fom bunnings and made my own to get on with the build.

It kept up extremely well at 30/40 psi and did the job with no trouble. I think it's an ideal home use compressor and has good capacity with the 50L tank. We recently purchased the 4x3 louvre roof system. I found Trade tested had great customer service and communication. Easy enough to assemble with ok instructions however it did take my builder husband a whole day up put up. We are in a high wind area so he put extra strength under the decking timber and will add extra long galvanised screws into the base. We installed the patio cover at a clients house last week. I must say, you have made a couple of really good improvements since the last time I put one up, about 3 years ago. The tape at the ends of the sheets to prevent water in between layers was a great idea, but I was most impressed by the redesign of the plastic clips that hold the outer sheet edges into the channel. I was hesitant to suggest these patio covers to my clients because I had so much trouble getting the clips to stay in the channel without popping out, even after ringing your custom service line and finding out that I was doing everything correctly and that's just how it was. A very pleasant surprise that you guys listen and act on feedback. Good work!

I needed a small greenhouse to keep my tomatoes out of the wind. My wife found this site while surfing and we liked the look of the greenhouses on offer. From order date to delivery took a couple of months, but that was because of shipping delays from overseas – Covid has a lot to answer for – and Trade Tested kept us up to date with progress emails. Assembly was a matter of following, page by page, the detailed instructions. However, it takes longer than the optimistic 100 minutes the manual says it should take – even if I did get rained off three times – so give yourself plenty of time. The assembled product is as good as it looks in the brochure and my tomatoes now have a home they can call their own. Helpful tip: the screws holding together the skylight window in the roof are countersunk, but the holes they go into are not, so the screw heads protrude and catch on the greenhouse roof frame. Use a countersink bit on the screw holes and that will improve the screw head clearance.

I bought a 15ft trampoline online as it was an essential item re: covid 19. I found this option wonderful, as having 6 children at home for such a long period of time they needed some kind of outlet. The package was received within the stated time and there was an option to afterpay the trampoline too, which was realistic for me. We needed extra space for my wifes craft activities and storage. We live in a pensioner flat with limited space. It took 2 geriatric old blokes (70's) about 8hrs to assemble the shed and fix it to the base we had previously constructed. The instructions were consice with each component numbered, so not too many debates were to be had.The pack comes with a pop rivet gun, pop rivets, tec screws and roofing screws. The 'crafty one' provided tea and scones to keep us focused, so the project went smoothly. She is now one very happy lady. My motorbike loving son hounded us to buy him a motorbike. We don’t live on a farm and we aren’t “motorbike” people BUT when we came across the trade tested mini dirt bike we thought we would give it a go because it was so affordable! I went off petrol products almost four years ago on account of my health concerns, mainly on account of inhaling the fumes thrown out by my petrol mower and hence had purchased a cordless electric mower of a well known brand 4 years ago. In comparison to my earlier cordless electric mower, this new Green Works mower is truly awesome. The Green works mower purchased by me recently, which is not only self-propelled which makes mowing so easy, but it's also almost as powerful as a petrol mower - hence I call it 'My New Beast' - I have used it a couple of times and I am so delighted with it's performance. In fact whatever I have purchased from Trade Tested for the past several years has been of high quality and I have never regretted my purchase - it shows the high standards of professionalism the Trade Tested team pursues. The choices of winches available allowed me to size this one to the weight of this machine, this will be used for general recovery and daily lifting jobs. The remote controls add safety to any winch job allowing me to be removed from any hazard areas. The mounting bracket made from some 15mm plate and angle welded to plate to mount the fair lead. All the wiring needed comes with the winch.

I bought the 6m x 3m Pop-Up Gazebo online last month. We absolutely LOVE it. So easy to put up and down, and excellent quality materials. Even the pegs are unique, and really well designed. Just to let you know, I have mentioned your website to everyone who has seen the gazebo. So far we have used it twice at our home - for a 21st birthday, and then for a 65th birthday the following weekend. If there was anything that could be changed, I would really love to see wheels on the bag, as it is very heavy for even two to carry. Other than that, the gazebo has exceeded all expectations.

I bought the 5x2m tunnel. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tunnel. The frame was easily assembled, although I would recommend an assistant. The frame is strong and sturdy. The pre-drilled holes were all in perfect alignment which I didn't actually expect but was pleased to find. The plastic cover was easily added and was a good, snug fit. Again, a second pair of hands makes it very straight forward. We taped all the frame joints, as recommended. We used 6 short Y posts, 3 each side, to anchor it in and full height Y posts at the door. My only regret is that I didn't buy the larger model! I am looking forward to lots of veggies going in to winter and beyond.
