S.Wide selection but definitely towards the diy end of the market (okay, it is a diy store so not surprising). Also generally slightly more expensive than Bunnings on average. However you can pick up most stuff here that you need to do a job, all in one place, open all weekend, helpful staff - on the whole very useful.
A.had all we needed to address our holiday caravan emergency. this was one of the few places open on a Sunday of a long weekend. thank u mitre10.
N.I have just been in to the Mitre10 Invercargill, what a great experience. Spoke with Wayne and he couldnt have been more helpful. Gave us great ideas and went out of his way to be so helpful. Thank you.

j.Good space between aisles. Helpful staff. Some thoughtful displays encouraged me to try some other ideas. Good sized carpark.
S.I have not had any poor/bad experiences. I have found the staff extremely helpful and also observed when a obvious new staff member wasn't sure of something one of the more experienced staff kindly helped.
M.Helpful staff, but didn't have what I wanted in supply, or out of stock. This isn't the first time I've been told that "we used to have them"!
Could do better H and J's / Mitre 10 - E Hays has better supply and far better quality of goods, but you pay more.
FYI - Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill store have the "best" wheelchair toilet/bathroom I've ever used in Invercargill - it even has a completely wet-floor accessible shower if needed. A little difficult to find for first timers, but it's kept very clean and well maintained. Plus the store has wheelchair/mobility permit car parks convenient to store entrance access - A huge thumbs up to the Mitre 10 Invercargill team for providing these clean and tidy accessible facilities - from a frequent shopper and wheelchair user review.
D.Just another huge chain store and they still didn't have what I wanted. It's not that easy to just pop in to get something real quick.. its a process and at times quite mind numbing. The staff I dealt with fell way short of knowledgeable but tried their best to be helpful. I try avoiding going here

N.Lovely breakfast and coffee at Cafe. French toast with bacon and fried banana. Thought menu a bit expensive, but food did not disappoint, service very friendly and also received a free newspaper.

I go here at least once a fortnight, and quite often I don’t really need anything hardware related.. it has great baby changing facilities, a nice little cafe (try the custard slice) and a playground for the bigger kids. My son and I love wizzing about in the trolley picking up bungy cords and buckets.. and as a huge plus all the staff are super helpful and friendly! Love your work

After selecting item and moved around to another bay I found more. Plenty all up to choose from but they were scattered. Why not all together? Possibly to do with their brands - not sure. D.Items advertised are occasionally out of stock which can be annoying. Staff are helpful and friendly but sometimes slow, preferring to "plod along" more than act promptly.... which can be frustrating if you are in a hurry.

M.Love the place,Customer service is top notch,I strolled the same aisle looking for a product asked a person and he found the guy who knew the aisle like the back of his hand and straight to the product I was after,of note reading other reviews,I see people have said warehouse is cheaper on some stuff,but also on the same terms i have found better deals at mitre 10 via website comparison before going to pick up.I do love great customer service and the staff are well trained in product location and also knowledgeable on products and also receive great checkout service,good eye contact,smiles,chit-chat makes it worth coming back too also the product range is great,along with their website imho.

N.If you are doing home renovations or would like plants for your garden--then this is the place to go. The most frustrating part is finding good service / help / advice on weekends when you need something urgent. It's huge and you might find yourself wandering around aimlessly trying to locate what you need.
C.A large warehouse structured hardware store with cafe and children's playground. Team members are usually very helpful finding what you need from a wide selection of budget and premium hardware items. This is my go to store for household hardware needs.

Huge stock and variety. But you get easily lost, wandering around for what you're looking for. Service is average, some are helpful and some don't have a clue.

A.It's a mega mitre 10, it's got everything you'd think a mitre 10 would have, the cafe onsite is quite good and have been a few times excellent food, the staff are approachable and good to deal with for the most part, I've found if they don't know the answer they can get someone who does.
