Staff are really friendly here and the level of service delivered is fantastic. More than not, this branch of Bunnings often has what we need so we pop in frequently even though it's not the closest. Recently I came in for an item that showed as 'in stock' with low numbers. One guy helped me look, checked the stock that was boxes and stored at the top of the racks and the grabbed a colleague to discuss alternative solutions for me. I ended up calling my partner to find out what would work and one of them was happy to have a quick chat to understand what he wanted and what I ended up with was more suitable than what we had originally planned to buy. Cheers! Keep up the great work!

I am guessing it is probably covid related rather than poor management but there just weren't enough staff. I approached one staff member who said she would get someone to help me 10 minutes later no one had turned up so I found another staff member. This one was happy to help but wasn't keen to open the box to show me a $400+ letterbox, (there wasn't one on display) and when he did open the box he just opened the top but never removed it from the box so I had no idea what it looked like.

Got exactly what I needed. Got 2.4m fencing that didn't fit in car. Staff member was super helpful getting me a rental van and I drove my fencing home, no problem. Great store.

The trade yard is honestly amazing and they do a great job out there as well as on the desk but I was shocked and really disgusted with the way a certain employee was talking to myself as well as the people around her. That young lady Gemma needs to excuse herself if she is to have that kind of temper because the way she treats others is not on.

I'm a frequent customer at Bunnings and yes we do come across certain people who aren't very approachable or customer friendly. There have been a few times where I've noticed slight mistreatment within the business from the few years of going there. Not very 'professional' Ir 'considerate' to intentionally make an employee/customer cry while on the job/shopping. It's peculiar with how unprofessional or how inconsiderate both employers and customers can be towards one another. Bunnings can be a very hard environment to approach when you have such raged filled customers and staff :/ other than that, Bunnings can be very good.

Staff all friendly and helpful as I hunted down some very specific items, but none were able to leave their posts and take me to the actual spot, so I spent some time trying to locate the right aisles. Products a good price and great fit for what we wanted. Store clean and easy to move around. Some aisle numbering very obscure.

Burnings is a huge warehouse. Great varieties of things to look at. I bought paints and paint brushes previously. This time I bought pot plants plants and potting mix. I found everything I was looking for. Great service and the staff was very helpful. He dropped everything and took me down to the right isle.

Bathrooms are filthy. Toilet, sink, walls, hand dryer, and look like they've been filthy so long they'll need to be replaced rather than cleaned. Poorly staffed. At least mask wearing helps with the smell

Lately bit disappointed with so long long waiting for customer assistance. Can't find certain products and help is not available easily. When one sales person is available, possibly he may not be expert to answer in the product range you are looking for and he will call out the expert in that range. But the expert does not turn up very easily. Always feels shortage of sales person. And many time I had to leave without the item I needed to buy.

It would have been a five but young girl serving did not smile at all which made me feel a little uncomfortable and the set up of the area seemed cramped and cluttered. Particularly to the left of the shop. There was no flow. I asked for the sign in Covid book. None available at the front of the store only for the mobiles which was disappointing.

I'm not very good at that sort of thing and I'm going to need plenty of help. On this trip I picked up fuses, a multi plug, screws and I priced up balustrades. The staff who pointed me in the right direction were friendly and knew their store well. The late opening hours helped me to fit in themis trip after work. I'm almost excited about coming back for whatever I need next.

Best place ever for all your hardware needs, I tell everyone if you want the right gadget for the job go here as the customer service is the best, the people you talk to know what they are talking about unlike Mitre 10 which from my experience only hire salesmen, if I'm not mistaken Bunnings hire ex Tradesman and the salesman (sales persons) are only at the checkouts. As for price they have lower quality if you are only going to do a one off job of higher if you want it to last.

There are several large Bunnings in the Wellington region of which this one is one. Great variety of all kind of DIY supply. Great staff, helping with any questions.

Good range of stuff, but the coffee isn't so flash. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful and it is generally cheaper than another nearby hardware store. No more plastic bags, which is good, but it means you drop everything you're juggling when they ask for your receipt at the exit...don't put the receipt in your pocket until AFTER you've left the the building! :-)

I found the light I wanted in kmart of all places!! Would have thought they would stick these as they sell Kitchens.

Good sized centre but with only one person serving, I waited too long in queue. There was an employee watching by the doors and watched us all paying for our items and then demanded to see my receipt when she had just seen me pay for everything. I thought this was really rude.

It's the only HW store around the Wellington region that I know of that has a vertical saw that cuts 2.4m x 1.2m sheets into whatever you want to take away - very very handy to avoid having to get a trailer or other vehicle that can handle whole sheets of ply or whatever you purchase. Store also has an amazing array of building and home decoration products - it would be hard to find something in the building line that they don't supply - and very competitive on price too.

Store was a bit of a mess aisle were blocked or obstructed. Some of the items I've brought in Porirua as they weren't available at Petone store. Staff are generally open to people asking questions, if they don't have the ability to answer they will direct you to someone who can.

Typical bunnings in a good way, staff you come across some are knowledgable and you come across some that are on the other side of the spectrum, some polite some could do better. Same way with the prices, shop around as some stuff is cheaper but then some stuff is more expensive than in the other stores. Its quite handy having the store there so we got to support them otherwise if there is no competition we go backwards or to where we were some years ago
