R.Good but lack of vegetarian options (and none that could be adapted) on limited menu. Should provide a heartier option. A roast vegetable meal would be fine.
M.Great food. Sunday roast for $15 was tasty and great size. Drinks weren't served to each person and expected to pass down table. Wasn't busy and could move down side of table so seemed lazy. Had to ask for order to be taken as waited so long. First time service not so good. Would have been 5/5 if service was better. Clean toilets. Bar and know there are quiz nights and wine tastings.
D.The family had a wonderful afternoon here. Meals were fantastic, priced fairly, beer was fresh and service was with a smile. Definitely recommend as a family friendly place for a meal
L.Great bar with plenty of Monteith's on tap, ranging from lagers to craft beers. There is an outdoor area which is nice to sit in as it tends to be quiet. Reasonably priced and one of the only pubs in the immediate area so tends to be a local for many people.

C.Our very first meal in New Zealand! And it was definitely a good idea to go there. I ordered West Coast BBQ ribs and it was sooooo soooo delicious!! A great place with nice ambient and good beer too. Service is really friendly. Recommend!
S.Meals and service are excellent. one of the few places that can cook a thick steak to your liking. Definitely worth dropping in for a meal. The number of times I've been, Sunday nights are reasonably busy in the restaurant, bar not so much. suggest to make reservations if more than a couple, and you don't want to be disappointed.

R.Been twice in last few weeks for evening meals with large family bookings. Meals all came at the same time with thought shown on kids served first. Wide range of menu options chosen, ALL prepared very well. The potato skins as a shared starter was a hit by all. Burgers, Fish, Chicken all well received, washed down by Monteith's beers and good wine selections. Great staff, good nights out.👍
