After months of a medical problem & no solutions from several outside doctors, on a recent appointment to the Hospital I was introduced to Dr Marijn Sijtsma immediately I found such care , resulting in a procedure that I had been requesting for very many months being offered to me a few days later. Thank you so much Marijn your understanding was priceless..kb

It was a very long appointment in outpatients but the staff were accommodating and helpful.

+ Very friendly and helpful staff + Doctors instilled confidence + Provided services that weren't strictly required when requested

Amazing experience with ED fast track acute assessment CENTER. Also hospital overflow. Thankyou so much for all the help right down to the tea people.

The Day surgery team.From the receptionist to the nurses to the docters.what an awesome comforting team. My 24 month old had gone under today to get her teeth pulled out and saved.Dr Sweetapple and another Dr(forgot his name sorry) had did an awesome job looking after my little one while I waited outside in the waiting room.Afterwards they had observed her closely and calmly and were spot on with what they say and do.4 hrs after being discharged I have one happy healthy baby and I'm one happy mama.tp the nurses who comforted and showed love for my baby till I got to the recovery room yous are awesome. Thank you all so much from Harlem and her mum

From E.D to the orderly and the ward, thank you for the awesome support and care of my partner Michael. Earl in the A1 ward was a highlight for us, he went above and beyond, the cleaners who made a cheerful entrance every time they came in keeping my partner on his toes, and Sammy also a nurse in A1 for keeping him in line also going above and beyond for the rest of the patients in our room, and also the cooks for keeping him healthy :) I can’t remember some names but even the little lady who scanned his legs we thank you!!!!

The nurses in Ward A3 are awesome and thank you for the care you gave my husband on two occasions during the past 5 months.

Had a heart attack and was treated in the Emergency Department and spent 3 days recovery in the Cardiac Ward. I can’t thank the doctors, nurses and staff enough as to how well I was treated, it was unbelievably good. It gave me renewed faith in our health system. When the chips are down, they certainly come to the part. A BIG thank you to all of you

Ridiculously long wait time in a&e with my 80 year old mother. But after that,the care has been fantastic. Cannot say enough good things about the staff. Top people.

The E.D staff, namely the amazing E.D nurse Ange was a god send! She made my sons visit to the hospital a much better experience and managed to make it a calm and reassuring time when we found ourselves stuck in there. Also special mention goes to "Friends of the Hospital" popping their heads in every half hour or so just to make sure I was taken care of too, offering coffees, books and magazines! Thanks to the E.D staff for making a somewhat frightening time much easier!

Having had a stay in the HB Region Hospital after a Motorcycle accident I can not thank enough the staff and associates of ward B3, the care and management of my recovery was beyond anything but excellent, I am now at home recovering the next stage. THANKS AGAIN TO ALL STAFF AND MEMBERS, buy the way the meals were exceptional Thanks kitchen staff.

I have spent a lot of time in a lot of hospitals around the world having fallen off things, crashed into things and all the other stupid things we do to ourselves. I was admitted to Hawkes Bay Hospital on Christmas Eve this year in a lot of pain. Without going into the details of the injuries every single member of staff was kind, engaged, intelligent and unbelievably helpful and made a horrible situation so much better. I've spent 3 days here so far and the attention, organisation, efficiency and level of care has been second to none. I've been in hospitals in the US, UK, EU and Far East and nothing comes close to this. After 5 minutes on the ward you know all the staff by their first names. The ED was efficient, thorough and friendly - many thanks to Josh, Christian and Sammy and the transition to the orthopedic ward seamless where Mr Lawson and the nursing team there were brilliant. It just shows what good organisation, the right attitude and genuinely nice people can do.

Thank you to the amazing staff at ED, ICU, and Coronary Care Unit Hawkes Bay Hospital for awesome care and treatment of my sister Pam after she had heart failure problems and we emergency ambulances off our cruise ship in Napier to the caring hands of you all. You definately went well beyond just administering medical care but also loving support for both her and myself her sister and I will be eternally grateful to you all. Happy to say she is now home and getting on with life again.

Amazing team at radiology/orthopedics regarding fractures. All around stellar care with compassionate nurses, techs, and drs

After a recent stay in wards A2 and A1, I would like to pass praise and thanks for the kindness and caring I both received and saw others receiving. I feel very privileged to have access to this amazing facility. Kay Holleron.

During the last week of her life my mother was given only the best and most compassionate care whilst she was in Ward B1. All of the nursing staff, the doctors, the counsellors and the care givers we're so kind to her and I have huge admiration of them all..much gratitude to you all.

Amazing treatment again in ED this afternoon!! Was home with follow up appointment within 5 hours, thats including tests and treatment! The staff were amazingly kind. Also big ups to St Johns!!

Thanks to the awesome teams though out hst hospital and especially looking out for my number one supporter my wife kat Watene. Keep up the hard work cheers

The doctors and nurses are just angels

Have to say all the staff and doctors were amazing here when I was in for an operation from A&E receptionist, nurses and straight through to ward staff.,nurses and sergical team really lovely staff doing great job deserve a big pat on the back to all at hospital doing great job guys and should be recognised for it 100 % thanks again guys

Arrived at hospital semi-conscious in ambulance after bike accident. Left 26 hours later patched up & ready to go. Awesome, friendly & completely professional & competent staff. Thank you 👍
