N.Visited the eye clinic. Well organized and supervised entrance with all the Covid protocols in place. The staff assisting and directing us patients were amazing - friendly, polite, clear and helpful. As always, the service and care at the eye clinic was top notch. So grateful for this facility and the people who provide the care for us.
L.Today 5th April 2022.i attended day clinic for an endoscopy. I would like to express my and my husbands gratitude to the wonderful team and Dr. Creamer who performed my treatment. Dr Creamer was an absolutly delight and his reassurance and manner was greatly appreciated. The staff that attended me were amazing and eased my concerns. I cannot speak highly enough of them and wish my thanks for their care and friendly attitude. Please pass my thanks to them. Kind regards Lorraine Webster
J.Great service. The nurses and docs were kind and friendly. They were also very thorough and careful.
Most importantly though, they were all very skilled and experienced in their roles. As a result, I felt like I was in a safe set of hands.
Other points:
- Quick to getting onto operating once you’ve arrived.
- Good sandwiches.
- Lots of free parking on street (unsure their prices).
- As a day stay, I got my own room.
J.Came in late Friday night with my 2 year old son and they were so efficient. Made us feel safe and put on cartoons for my son while we waited. Gave him an iceblock. Honestly what a lovely caring crew, reception, nurses and doctor thank you.
G.All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Very quick service and lovely sandwiches and tea after the procedure. Thames can be very thankful to have this Hospital where even parking is easy.
N.I went for an xray and was seen almost immediately. Lovely friendly staff too.
J.Ended up on Sat, 26th, 2020, So very helpful, from receptionist, to nurses & Dr Causer, could not do enough for me. Much appreciated.
W.On May 31st i came here.Wow 😍what a wonderful hospital. My hernia surgery was done here free due to a cancellation at the waikato hospital. Thames Hospital was extremely clean & had helpful stuff members to direct my sister & i to the correct department as we havnt been there before, we are from Ngaruawahia. their care was prompt and fast. I felt very well looked after from the team I would love to say thank you to😇🙌

F.Some areas are nice, others are not. Outside facade is dated and unsightly along with a lot of interior fixtures like waiting rooms. Turn a corner, however, and it's a swanky new lobby. When I went there with a broken shoulder, I sat in excruciating pain for about 1 hour in a completely empty section of the hospital with no one to be seen. It's not a bad hospital by any standard tho, its functional and clean - really all that matters
P.I had a colonoscopy at the Thames hospital last week. Could not speak more highly of their professional services and care. The coffee and the sandwiches after were nice as well.
N.Ended up at emergency department in September 2018.I was pleasantly surprised by the attitude, care and professionalism of medical staff. Very grateful. Thank you!!!
B.I've been in the emergency department 3 times this year and had several other appointments. I can't fault their service. Every time I've been there has been a positive experience and I certainly have no complaints.

Well, I thought all things were going well, but still waiting for ENT Specialist Dr Andrew Wood to contact me regarding CT. Exam date 3 April 2018 now 27 April. Said it would be 3 - 5 working days. Had to ring my own doctor and then had to organise the report to be sent to my own doctor to find out diagnosis. Would really like specialist to contact me as I will now need an MRI
C.it was ok..people at the help desk are very helpful and lovely attitude to doing there job well with a smile

L.Both my parents have been in patients at different times at this hospital & have both received excellent care from the friendly helpful nursing staff. A lovely location with lovely views & nice atmosphere

m.Excellent service and treatment, again at 11pm on a Saturday night.
Staff were wonderful and treated me as soon as they were able.
S.I was cared for very well indeed. The team of nurses and surgical staff were friendly, put me at my ease and paid close attention to my needs and well being. Thank you.
P.I couldn't have asked for better treatment or friendlier staff. The food was pretty good too! Love the atmosphere and décor etc of Thames especially compared to Waikato.
P.Excellent caring kind nursing staff and cheerful attentive Doctor's . One unacceptable nurse aide who is self important and
prejudiced and allows herself to show it.
P.It is a hospital. Although every time you have something over a broken bone they send you to Hamilton. It is very good I have been there once
