Everyone has been absolutely delightful to deal with. Our golden retriever loves going to the vet so much because they always make it an exciting experience for him. Vanessa is really great with pup, and has been a pleasure each time we’ve gone. Great advice and has been brilliant with our many questions as new dog owners

They have been absolutely amazing dealing with my cat. They developed a clear recovery plan for her throughout the process. Which they communicated clearly to myself so I understood what the next steps were, reducing uncertainty. She was seen by two different vets, the communication between the two was fantastic. They knew exactly how each of her previous check ups had gone, meaning I didn't need to fill in the details. Additionally their receptionist gave extra support regarding her diet ect.

The nurses and vets are a pleasure to deal with. I was in so much stressed since our bunny stopped eating but they let me do a drop off in a moment's notice. I feel they understand every pet owner's concern and for that this is a definit "go-to" place for any pet-related concern.

Brendan, one of their vets, worked very hard to save our cat and continues to keep her alive. Very caring and very professional as are the rest of the team.

When our cat took ill and we couldn't get her into our usual clinic, Kelburn Vets came to the rescue. Vanessa was so caring and professional and relieved our anxiety greatly. By the next morning, our cat was much better and back to her usual tricks. Thank you Kelburn Vets for your exemplary veterinary service. 👍🏼

Brendon was amazing with our puppy. She had a mystery allergy, for which other vets elsewhere had been unable to diagnose. Brendon is very knowledgable and thorough, taking time to cover all possible issues. Our pup has responded really well to his treatment plan. The other staff here are lovely too! Really nice vet clinic. Best I've been to in Wellington (and the UK). Definitely recommend.

We travel quite far just to see Brendon at Kelburn Vets as he is a rabbit savvy Vet. He’s got so much knowledge about their care and I know we’re always in good hands there.

Good vets. Very professional

Great vet office! We have a sweet, but skittish cat that doesn't like strangers at all. Brendon is awesome - super patient and gentle. After a few visits, it seems as though she is getting used to him and not freaking out about going to the vet as much. Great front office staff too - and nice that they have weekend appointments.

The Kelburn Vets cared for my cat for 16 years. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. At the very end, Brendan was so lovely. Thank you so much for your care and compassion.

My cat, Poos, had been in a fight and was in a lot of pain. Although he's the sweetest little boy with me, he's usually not so good with people who aren't me. Kelburn vets were nice and calm, and Poos responded to them really well, he's also doing really well now.

Great location, facilities (even if a little small), and awesome staff who care and are highly experienced. Our two puppies regular visit Brendon and we really do appreciate his openness and honesty and experience when treating them. They always leave with huge smiles on their faces even if a little drowsy! I highly recommend Pet Doctors Kelburn! Even if your pet is in for the day, they will keep you updated on his progress and follow-up phone calls or txt messages to make sure your pet is OK. Great stuff. Keep the awesome work up team!

I have been using Pet Doctors Kelburn for many years. The vets there have cared for three of my cats and supported me through the deaths of two of them. I know that my cat will receive the best of care and that I will get good advice from Brendan. I really like it that the nurses ask after my cat when I visit to pick up food or medication. My elderly cat has multiple medical problems and I use the cattery as well because I feel much better knowing that he is staying with people who know him and will spend time with him while he is there. Everyone is friendly, efficient and helpful.

The entire staff at Pet Doctors Kelburn have always been wonderful whether its been for puppy training, puppy surgery, puppy maintenance or just general customer service needs. Never have I left their office wanting or displeased with my experience. They know their business well and for that I am happy to make the extra effort to drive across town. The Kelburn vets love animals, they know their stuff, and they're worthy of trust. They've been our vet clinic of choice for almost 5 years. They did a top job of looking after my Irish setter Charlie when she needed eyelid surgery, and the follow up was rock solid. The peace of mind I get taking our pets to these guys is priceless.

We've been taking our cat here for the last four years. The vet is friendly and our cat doesn't mind going at all. The vet was also a help at giving us advice to help settle our cat when we had a new born baby. Would definitely recommend to any cat owner.

Nice staff and very knowledgeable vets. Place has been updated since I had been there adding another exam room. Waiting room is pretty standard, always street parking available. Cats never seem to like going but vets treat them well and do their best to make them comfortable.

Our cat Charlie loves this place and the amazing staff. We made the mistake of housing him a couple of times in a more appealing (to human eyes) looking cattery. The staff were not so warm and Charlie was much less happy when he came home. The staff, vets, and service are great and as I said - most importantly - our cat has chosen it!

We came to Pet Doctors extremely worried about our kitten (Known now as Betty "Patches" Gray) and without having made a previous appointment. While we were willing to wait as long as we had to, the Doctors still came and took a look at our kitten, and after recognizing that the situation was urgent, they immediately took care of her without any delay or wait at all. While examining her, the staff took wonderful care of her, petting her and keeping her calm as they looked at her. It was heartwarming to see her being taken care of so quickly, and I was so happy to see that this was a vet more concerned with my animal's well-being than process and paperwork. Pet Doctors took expert care of our kitten as she stayed overnight to have an operation on her eye, and not only was the operation a huge success, but our kitten was able to enjoy her stay while being taken care of and fed delicious food (that they gave us a sample of when we picked her up because she loved it so much!) This will always be the Vet's office that I go to when my pets are having any trouble, and you should have no doubts about coming to this wonderful establishment!

My cats aren't huge fans of Pet Doctors but they don't know how lucky they are. The team at Kelburn are genuinely interested in my pets health and happiness and they take the time to make the animals feel comfortable. We've had the full range of care from general vaccines and check ups to surgery and we've used the cattery - all of the services are great and I never feel worried leaving my cats there now - I really trust them.

Monty has been going to Pet Doctors since he was a puppy and he is now an old dog !! He loves going there as the staff treat him so well and make a fuss of him. This makes him feel he is the Best Dog in the World and he responds to this. I have found the staff to be very helpful to me, the owner and it has been a wonderful service.

I really want to recognise the amazing work of Kelburn Vets. My dog, Jethro, had many vets in his time but once we started taking him to Kelburn, they were Jethro's "peeps". He was too big for the cages there so - no lie - he had a consulting room just for him, if he was waiting on an operation or treatment. He was always super-spoiled by the vets and nurses there. They worked miracles with him, including a huge operation on a benign tumour on his head (thank you, Brendon and co). When it came to say goodbye, they were incredibly compassionate, empathetic, kind and gentle - it was as if his extended whānau was farewelling him. I felt that he was among people who really loved him. I never felt that Jethro was a patient at Kelburn. I felt that he was your friend. Thanks, guys - more than I can say.

Pet Doctors Kelburn is a great place to take your pet! They definitely care about the pets and answer all my silly questions. I especially like the follow-up phone calls to check that the pet is ok several days after an appointment. Thank you Pet Doctors!!

Have been great with my pets (dogs and rabbits) even remembering their names and personalities. Staff are always really nice and informative.

Dr Bullen was super willing to try something new and perform minor surgery on my axolotl. None of the staff seemed amused or confused why I would take an axolotl to a vet, so that was refreshing. He was willing to make the extra effort to research, get ahold of the medication, and to search for other illnesses. Excellent service and I will go there again if needed :)

Absolutely great vets! Especially recommend for rabbits and other small animals.
