R.Absolutely wonderful! My first hostel, and I was so grateful for how clean it is! My twin room was the perfect amount of space and privacy, and the bathrooms and kitchens were always very clean. I love the location on K road too.
The only complaint I had was that our window was stuck open, so it got very cold at night. But I just got a blanket and layered up - nothing to worry about! :)
T.The rooms are clean, smell good as well as the bed sheets, blankets and pillow.
The bathrooms are always cleaned and smelling good.
Showers have good pressure and temperature.
The service is pretty nice too.
Kitchen was always clean and has plenty of cutlery and pans to do the work.
Laundry has washing machines but you have to pay 2 dolars for wash and 2 for drying.
M.Really nice hostel. Bathrooms are clean, beds were comfortable, little bit out of the city but that also makes it more quiet which I liked. Supermarkets are therefore a 15 min walk but convenience stores were right around the corner, so that made up for it :)
C.I stayed in this hostel for a while, it’s very clean and nice to live in.
Staff is really friendly and helpful.
It is not a hostel for party so if you are a chill, and just want to go out on the weeknd this is for you!
The area is full of place to eat and there is good bars around ;)

A.Great spot to put your head down. Nothing fancy but perfect if you need somewhere central. Loads of good take aways and a city fitness right outside which is handy if you're a member (which I am). Very happy with this place. With the current conditions, wishing them well.
Z.Very helpful staff. Nice rooms that are very clean. Clean kitchen. Pool table and lounge for inside hangouts. Good area with lots of restaurants around as well. Good value per night.
탁.This place is really clean. And it is in a good location, near Queens Street. The kitchen stays open all night, which allowed me to cook anytime. And they were always welcoming. Even the largest room has only 4 beds, so it is quiet everyday.
J.I stayed here for about 3 weeks as I'm finding a job in Auckland.
PROS:
-Staff is friendly and helpful (especially the lady w/dogs at reception who was always this)
-Bathrooms always stayed clean; tenants usually kept it clean and cleaners always did their job
-On a quiet street, I barely heard any outside noise and it's easy to walk to shops or take the bus
CONS:
-For some reason, I couldn't get wifi on my laptop, just on my phone, even though I got wifi access on there at the last place I stayed at (however this may be more of a problem with my laptop than them I think)
-Dryers take too long. When I first came here, it took me 2 hours to dry my load. If you put too much in at one time, it doesn't dry at all.
-Thin walls, usually hear a lot when you're in a single room
-Towels and blankets are not free, you need to pay $4 NZD each as they need to wash them afterwards
-Elevator is rickety and always closes too fast
Overall, despite all the cons I listed I didn't have any serious problems. Nobody bothered me and I had a decent time over there.

They do provide free wifi for guests, too.

L.BK Hostel is a very clean and comfortable accomodation. We had a very cheap twin bedroom but sadly the prices increased at the beginning of October. We felt very safe because there are cameras in all public places like in both kitchens and in the corridors. We even had a small fridge and two wardrobes in our room. It's 15 minutes away from queenstreet and pretty quiet.
G.Great choice for a budget option. Rooms are clean and so are bathrooms and the rest of the hostel. Outside on the street can get a bit noisy on weekend but hostel is otherwise quiet. Can walk into city in around 15 mins. Paid wifi.

R.Perfect location next to supermarket, Nice twin room, People from all around the world, Movies every night. Unlimited wifi for 10$ if you find someone who can share. Reasonable weekly prices and monthly too :)
R.Located on K Rd, they seem to be more protective. Need a bond for key. Secured front door. The receptionist at the time seemed boring and jus going thru process. Met a nicer one the next day. No towels nor bathroom mats. Good value for money and okay overall.
V.The room was very small even for 4 people. In the night the noise of the bar next door kept you awake and sadly they didn't have any ear plugs at the reception. The bathrooms were clean but very dark and in general it's hard to find your way through the hostel because there are no signs. It's very close to the main street though.

J.Nice place to chill out and good for long trips since it is one of the cheapest places and close to Queen Street and just steps away from daily shopping amenities. Very spacious and clean.

In rooms with windows it is quite noisy from the street as the windows do not close well. This also causes it to draw a little. Ein sehr sauberes und ordentliches Hostel mit guter Lage, von der aus alles was man braucht schnell zu erreichen ist. In Zimmern mit Fenstern ist es ziemlich laut von der Straße, da die Fenster nicht gut schließen. Das führt auch dazu, dass es ein wenig zieht. Die Wände sind recht dünn, man hört also zb seinen Nachbarn telefonieren. Stark kritisieren muss ich die Waschmaschine und den Trockner. Beides kostet jeweils 4 NZD, meine Wäsche ist jedoch weder richtig sauber noch trocken geworden und riecht etwas muffig.

Alquile una habitación doble con baño compartido muy ruidosa porque da a la calle pero amplia y luminosa. El colchón no es muy cómodo ya que se sienten los resortes. Tienen reglas muy estrictas y por ejemplo puede ir solo 2hs una visita sino te cobran un recargo. De precio muy similar a otros hosteles

Das BK bietet ein sehr Preis Leistung gerechtet Hostel an, welches recht zentral gelegen ist (an der K Road). Man kommt in 15 Minuten zu Fuß zur Queen St. oder Ponsonby. Echt klasse. Des Weiteren ist es wirklich sauber, kaum ein anderes Hostel hat in Auckland so eine Sauberkeit zu bieten. Das Personal ist super freundlich, die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind jedoch etwas durchgelegen. Küche immer sauber und bietet alles was man braucht.
Jeder der kurz vor der Abreise oder nach der Anreise ein Hostel sucht, würde hier fündig werden. 👍🏼
