C.We had a good stay here. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. The manager takes great care at presentation. Early on we thought it was going to be a noisy location but we slept without issue. Very comfy. The guest laundry facilities were a big plus for us. The lack of pub-style dinner venues and cafes meant we had quite a drive to find dinner and breakfast. Other than that, it was great for our last night in NZ.

S.I booked Grange Motel late as I needed to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. We checked in last night. This place is great. As I have stayed in a few budget accommodation's this has to be overall one of the best.
The front desk Shirley was courteous and friendly all the way from booking to arrival. The room although budget is large, exceptionally clean and everything works! The bed is very comfortable. Unbelievable!
I recommend this place to anyone!
C.Such considerate, thoughtful and courteous people, especially the manager Shirley, she even delivers the umbrella when it's in the rain. Really liked the garden area, comfortable beds and the unit in general. Thank you! Little things like the teddy, scale in the bathroom were much appreciated.
T.From the start we were made so welcome it felt like home. The room was very clean and included everything we needed. The room itself was very cozy and had everything you might need while away from home. I was so impressed with the hospitality here. The hosts were very pleasant.
E.Clean and pleasant motel for a quick night stay before flying out of Auckland. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. The bed is comfortable. Good sized bathroom. There is some noise from the highway. Very friendly staff. Quality tv and good heat/air con. Free WiFi however it drops sometimes, but can reconnect pretty easily.
J.Next to main road... so at night could hear traffic, during morning to night could hear loud car audio systems and road works. If you don't wake easily it's fine. Rooms decent size. Not overly modern. Bathroom okay. Feels a bit expensive. But very clean and tidy and friendly.
D.We enjoyed our stay the owners where so nice and even let us leave our trailer that day which was great for us would stay there again and reckon mend them to friends and family 🤙
T.Don't let the slightly older appearance of the motel deter you. There is not a lot within walking distance. A great start to our week in the North Island. The young Asian guy I charge went to almost extremes to make sure we enjoyedour stay and that we were comfortable.
T.Pat and Bernie are really good hosts. Pat and Bernie were the most gracious of hosts. We loved the little garden area that was done so that you were private from neighbouring rooms. Thanks again Bernie and Patrick, hope you enjoyed the break you were heading off to on the day that we left.
T.I've stayed in a lot of Motels in my life. It's generally clean but somehow lacks the finesse that would differentiate it from the rest of the pack significantly. Local shops and a comfortably sized shopping mall are close by and very easy …
M.Receptionist Shirley is so nice and helpful. The room is clean and shine. Unlimited free wifi is perfect for tourists like us. We will definitely come back.
C.Better than I ever expected. It was clean and had enough beds for 5. Since it was a queen and 2 singles listed on the website, we were expecting a roll away bed. It turned out to be 3 singles and one king. We thought that was pretty sweet.
M.Very friendly owners who went out of their way to be helpful. They stayed up for our late arrival and helped with where we could eat nearby. Room was spacious with some cute touches. Thanks very much.
T.The lovely Bernie and Pat were so warm and welcoming when my sister and I passed through briefly on our epic NZ road trip. All great value for the price. The stainless steel shower pan and fittings were shining and almost looked brand new. A great introduction to kiwi hospitality.
D.Had a fantastic time. The night manager Anthony went beyond the call of duty. Even stopped for us to get a feed in the middle of the night as we just finished trucking a long way. Thanks mate. Was well worth it. Room was very cosy and warm. Just felt like home away from home.
A.Grange motel is the best motel I ever know. The rooms are clean and tidy .love the way they serve us always on time and providing everything to use while my stay with them..even the manager of the motel are very kind and friendly as hes workers as well..so I have no issue for this motel..and would like to give them 100% of there services and providing everything for us ..thanks to the manager and hes worker's for everything ..all the best and Lord bless🤙🤙🤙😎

T.Thank you Bernie and Pat for your friendliness towards an older couple seeking refuge. Arriving later than intended we were met by Bernie who had a plate of freshly baked muffins for us which the children accepted with great gusto. Thank you Pat, Bernie, Lucy, Mack, and Sunshine for making us feel at home during our travels.

K.Pretty good , quite expensive for what it is, clean but no luxuries for a 4 star , upgrade is in progress . staff friendly and helpful.Will stay again as close to MT Smart and Airport.
c.Very friendly and welcoming, unit was clean tidy and reasonably quiet even though being by the airport, comfy bed and good nights sleep.

C.Spacious area and very clean, with private outdoor seating area. Super easy check-in with free parking and super comfy bed.
T.Upon early arrival, the proprietor could not do enough for us. I will go back again and this time I will book in advance to make sure I get the same room. We slept through most of it, but on occasion the kids were woken by a loud car or truck.
L.The stay I had with the grange and the help from Shirley and the very efficient manager and staff was extremely pleasurable and we'll worth the tariff I'll be staying there again and recommend that others stay there
