T.Had our isolation here and our experience was very vood. Room provided to us didn't have much sunlight though. Staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. Food tastes a little bit bland, wish they could have introduce more variety and meal selection. Overall, it's a pleasant stay here in Holiday Inn Auckland.
L.6 Stars! I stayed here for 14 days of managed isolation and was really impressed with the staff and facilities. It was an unusual public health crisis situation and the staff were consistently professional and helpful at a 5 star level.
If they can pull off such high service levels with all the extra demands of working inside what is essentially a military quarantine facility then I honestly can't imagine how high the quality of the service is during normal times.
In terms of facilities, the hotel looks a little bit dated from the outside but the interior has been more recently renovated and the rooms are modern, clean and everything you'd expect at a 3 or 4 star business hotel. If you're used to travelling this will be like a second home. Very comfy bed.
G.I spent my 14 day isolation here and, if I had a choice, I would definitely choose isolation here.
I had a large room, crockery and cutlery were provided and every room has a sliding door onto either the garden, or your own balcony overlooking the garden.
The supplied meals are varied and there is a large quantity of food with plenty of fruit and vegetables and even snacks and soft drinks.
Everyone working here was friendly and helpful.
For me the food was a little bland and could have had more spices or interesting sauces, mint sauce with the lamb would have been much appreciated, also the mark-up on wine was very high.
These are very minor points and overall I feel that this is a very comfortable place for isolation, and would be a really convenient airport hotel in other times
A.Another Managed Isolation person. The facilities were great I had a spacious room with an outside area - but the best was the staff. So friendly and obliging always. This includes hotel staff, armed forces staff and security - all top class. The whole process was efficiently managed with the minimum of fuss - well done all.
When normal times return I would definitely stay here when travelling and highly recommend to others.

Customer service is very good, come for a free buffet, they have different kinds of food, hot food section, cold salad bar and desserts. Comfortable lobby and beautiful view. Stuff are all nice and friendly, smile and happiness.
Bus is door to door service, from airport to here, about 15-20 mins (considering they need to drop off people to other hotels) so it is ok, not that far away actually.
Anyway, we have nothing to complain to this free gift, although we miss our home.

The hotel itself is sprawling, with far flung room that take a lot of walking to get to. The alarm clocks however are terrible and not user friendly.

T.Basic motel style accommodation near to airport. It is not a high end hotel so if you keep your expectations way down, you can have a peaceful stay before your flight departure. I like the attempt at making the place more homely, with IKEA style deco and associated decorative pieces. It makes the whole place a bit less drab. There is a restaurant in the hotel but you can also walk out for your meals. Still, nothing fancy around the area for sure.
The room is ....okay, probably way past time for a total refurbishment. Sadly, this 80s style motel has no lifts up to the second floor accommodations. Be warned.
If you are reading this, and have a bit of a budget to spare, try staying away from airport hotels in general.

Apart from losing half a day through extra flights etc., the hotel itself provided a pleasant experience.
