H.Favorite take aways. Staff always friendly, food is always yum. It is definitely my go to place. Wedges with all the toppings is a must have there. Only fault is that it is pricey but I don’t mind paying that extra bit for quality
G.Very average fish, overpriced for the small bit of fish you get and too much batter. The chips were ok. They completely left out a burger from our order and we only realised when we got back to the campground and unpacked it, inexcusable.
A.Very nice place, lovely staff. Had coffee and a bacon burger...both just how I like them, nice beef patty and lots of tasty bacon. I am impressed. These guys are also open longer on the weekend than the other cafe thats closer to the beach;)
J.Expensive but very nice milkshakes & kai. Parking is dicey on the main road there, don't let the kids out first.
Staff are pretty nice which is good. Been going here (although it's probably changed owners some) for pretty much forever, it's been around a long time, I remember this place when I was a kid.
Much better option than the cafe down the road.
Be careful backing out of the parking, plenty of Westie hoons ready to take you out or run your family over.

B.Great place for a family outing if you have a 4wd. Beware of the many fishermen on a weekend. Don't forget to also visit the Muriwai Gannet Colony.
U.Such a yum vegan burger!! Ask for vege no cheese or mayo. The patty is super yum. Highly recommend!

D.There is not much choice in Muriwai and it tends to show in the general lack of customer service and higher prices in this store. Still, there is not much choice once you are out here and so go ahead and use this store.

J.After a windy sand blown time at Muriwai beach I needed an icecream to get the sand out of my mouth.
The price is normal for an out of the way place.
