W.Stayed at this place for the NY period and picked it due to it's location to the Sky Tower! Value for money was good considering it was the NY. Staff were friendly and polite, room had everything I needed. However, the air con was a major issue and kept turning itself off so we called for help and noone ever came.. corridors weren't clean and had bins and used towels on the floor. Luckily we spent most of the time in our room. Would I stay here again? Maybe.
A.The best staying experience I've ever had, the staffs were really helpful and the hotel was really tidy, the room was clean and the bed was really comfortable ^_^ will 100% come back and most recommend to everyone^_^
F.We got here really like the room as its our first night out in an apartment together but there was a few thing door handle was broken when we opened it,draw on lounge coffee table won't go in seen these thing when I arrived here.and a piece of the door was falling off and bathroom door abit wonky.

C.Very much enjoyed our stay here! Worth the money. Staff are excellent and genuinely nice. Very central across from Sky City. Room 202 had nice furniture and a super comfy bed. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry/dryer. Only reason for a 4 star is due to the cleanliness of the room itself - it needs improvement or new housekeeping staff all together. The roll of toilet paper wasn't new - and it was almost gone. Found a leftover soap in the shower from a previous guest. Lots of dust. I'm not a fussy person but it was very obvious. Also the air conditioning wasn't up to standard we were very overheated in the room that it became unbearable to stay in after 9.30am. But the staff, the layout of the room along with all of the facilities and at a very reasonable price made it an overall enjoyable experience. Will be back again!
T.Stayed for a night here and was impressed, it's very central, and had good and clean facilities. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The fridge, kitchen facilities would have been workable for a longer stay, and the washer and dryer in the bathroom worked well to do some last minute laundry. We paid a very reasonable rate (for Auckland).
J.I had a great view of the sky needle from my room. The beds are so comfy and warm. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom. They provide you a small kitchen: fridge, stove, sink. It's a really good room for the price. The location is great; we never needed to take an uber anywhere, we just walked, there are tons of restaurants and shops nearby.
The staff was really helpful as well. They let us leave our luggage in their storage room after checkout so we could walk around town without full hands. I'd absolutely recommend Quest.
P.Penthouse 7A was large and spacious but definitely needed to be repainted and furniture replaced as not up to the standard you would expect and what is shown in the photographs on their site. Coffee table looked like someone had danced on it with spiked high heels and there was paint all over the dining table. Views good and location handy. Beds comfortable and bathrooms clean.
J.Great location, friendly service, clean, modern, view of sky tower and a little view of harbor bridge. Balcony was great. Clean n tidy overall but
needs a lick of paint. Washing machine and dryer inside bathroom was great! No bathtub only shower. Parking onsite is safe n secure but cost $30per day I think. 24/7 right next to hotel which is very handy. Quiet and family friendly (reception gave our 4yo a lollipop on arrival and chocolate at check out) Definitely recommend this hotel! We stayed in a one bedroom exec room (balcony and sea view) for $200, room 7c on level 7, and paid $30 for parking total $230 for one night.
V.The rooms were good breakfast they don't serve you much 2 slices of bread and wheat flakes and a yogurt that what they give for breakfast . Hotel staff were friendly and helpful the air-conditioning wasn't working in our room and a major highlight is the proximity everything is near by sky tour inter city services etc....
B.This was a great and affordable hotel that we got last minute. Had a great view of sky city as well. We booked the night before just scrambling to find a place and are glad this is what we found. Very close to many cool places and is a great base for exploring downtown on foot. Other bonuses, has a seperate living room/bedroom and a washer and dryer in the unit, which wqs quite nice. The staff was also helpful and friendly!

A.We recently stayed at the Quest on Hobson. The apartment was clean and tidy. It had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable. The staff were amazing they were friendly and really helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending these aparrments to others.

T.We were totally delighted with our 'family' stay at Quest on Dobson. The rooms are clean and include a small kitchenette. The apartment was well furnished with all white goods. On arrival, staff very polite and were not afraid to smile. There are some interesting characters hanging around outside but they did not bother us at all.
L.Provided a lot of unexpected amenities but misrepresented they provided hotel shuttle from airport. Expect to pay for your own shuttle upon arrival. But the Hotel is a very nice place to stay and has a small grocery store next to the building. 1 block walking from metro bus station and 1 block from the sky tower needle.
J.The staff are amazing. Do have a few problems with house cleaning though spoke to the guy on the desk he was wonderful as said he'd resolve this matter asap. It's not a 4 star hotel though due to certain things that need fixing like masking tape still around the lift entrance where they've had painters I'm and they've not finished the job old and shabby lounge suite with the fabric all worn away stain on the hall carpet covered up by a mat mold around the shower recess old appliances in the room wardrobe far to big for the space it's in not enough coathangers advertised as queen bed but in fact 2 single bed pushed together with a blanket in the middle. We are staying here for 3 weeks all in all I would recommend here and would stay again

Really needs the renovation they have planned. Walls could be better at noise reduction. Minimal utensils etc in the kitchen. But water pressure in the shower was awesome, paint stripping, massage levels.
S.A good night sleep and convenient location in the city centre. No gym but there are gyms within walking distance. A bit of wear and tear in the bathroom such as a loose soap holder. Would stay again.

L.Very warm and all the amenities you need. A few bulbs out and a bit close to other building that you couldn't have the drapes opened. But overall a pleasant stay and close to central city and sky tower.
T.Everything is really clean. You are within a short walking distance to ***y restaurants & bars. The price was competitive and the apartments are located convenient to much of the Auckland CBD area. Needed help to send a package and the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way.

T.The Quest on Hobson is situated within easy walking distance of downtown Auckland. Cost effective option in my opinion. We asked for a quiet room for our family and had a very peaceful nights sleep accordingly. I would stay again but would stick to my standard service apartment if available.
T.Cannot open the windows for a bit of fresh air on the lower floors. You have enough room and even washing maschine plus dryer. The air conditioner very weak i had to sleep in the living room to feel a little clod air. Being right by sky …

A.The room was average and the power cord on the iron was severely frayed (to the point where internal wires were showing). Decent, but not worth the asking price. Wouldn't stay here again.

M.Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a weekend getaway. Didn't spend a great deal of time in the hotel - but is was incredibly well priced and the location was excellent. Facilities just what we needed. Will definitely look at staying here again sometime.

v.(Translated) After booking difficulties, we were graciously upgraded. Nice home. Well appointed apartment but the oven was greasy. Very comfortable bed. Perfect soundproofing. Nice view of the tower and the church. We were able to leave our bag on guard all day after we left. Convenient mini market and cellar just opposite. Establishment within walking distance of the busy harbor, beautiful walks, numerous bars and restaurants. Unfortunately, the neighborhood is not very clean.

Établissement à quelques minutes de marche du port animé, belles promenades, nombreux bars et restaurants. Malheureusement, le quartier n'est pas très propre.

J'y ai séjourné en Novembre 2013 pendant 3 semaines. Superbe accueil, un séjour tout simplement parfait, la disponibilité et la gentillesse des employés. La réception très à l'écoute et très serviable dès mon arrivée. Des locaux très propres, avec des agents d'entretien tout les jours. Un studio de haut standing, avec tout le nécessaire à avoir. L'emplacement est parfait, proximité de l'avenue Queen Street, la Sky Tower à deux pas! Tout est accessible à pied, le Port d'Auckland; Albert Park au bout Wellesley St W très agréable à cette période de l'année.
