We recently had the pleasure of staying at Two Tree Lodge during our time in Blenheim, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Yvonne, our hostess, was exceptional from start to finish. Her communication prior to our arrival was prompt and thorough, ensuring that we had all the information we needed for a seamless check-in. During our stay, her attentiveness and local recommendations were spot on, making our trip all the more enjoyable. The lodge itself is quaint and charming, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s tastefully decorated, with no detail overlooked. From the coffee and cookies to the soft sheets and towels, every touch added to the cozy and welcoming ambiance. One of our favorite features was the outdoor back deck area. After a full day of wine tasting, it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The peaceful setting and thoughtful amenities made it feel like a true retreat. We couldn’t recommend Two Tree Lodge enough for anyone visiting Blenheim. Yvonne’s hospitality and the lodge’s thoughtful touches made our stay unforgettable. We look forward to returning!

We were arriving late from kairkoura and let the owners know well in advance, and they kindly advised us of the late check in procedures. Each room has its own off street parking and it is so convenient. The room was extremely clean and as it was winter, they turned on the AC for us so we wouldn't walk into a freezing cold room. Water pressure in the shower was good and the bed (althought a little soft for my taste), was extremely comfortable, we both slept very well. Thank you so much for hosting us

The proprietor is fantastic, we received a warm welcome and were provided dining advice for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Yvonne was exceptionally welcoming on arrival, providing considerable relevant detail regarding the accommodation and surrounding area. The room was very tastefully decorated and spacious, containing comfortable furnishings, a table from which work could be completed, a large comfortable bed and a very well supplied kitchenette. The bathroom was large and modern, containing a decent-sized shower unit and a basin cabinet enabling personal toiletries to be placed. Cannot wait for another excuse to require accommodation in Blenheim again.

We stayed at Two Tree Lodge while attending a conference at the nearby Marlborough Events Centre. It suited our needs perfectly. The staff were very helpful (even lending us umbrellas when it was raining) and the accommodation clean, tidy and warm.

I travel a lot for work, so having a nice comfortable place to call home for a few days is very important to me. This was my first stay at Two Tree Lodge and I have already booked for my next 2 trips. The check in process was fast and friendly, the staff were a pleasure to deal with and very welcoming. My room was very well appointed with both Sky Channels and Netflix available to watch on the TV, so great for winding down after a long day. The spa bath was a lovely addition and the bed was comfortable. All within a stones throw from the town, or a nice stroll along the river. All in all a very nice stay!!

Excellent place to stay. We stayed in the three bedroom apartment and it was very comfortable indeed. Bedrooms were a good size and beds were very comfortable. Staff/Owners were fantastic and took care of our every needs, Motel itself is handily placed to town center being only a 15 minute walk away. Of all the places my parents and I stayed during our two-week trip in New Zealand, the hotel we loved the most was Two Tree Lodge, and I cannot stress enough how awesome our experience was. Had the most amazing experience with the two tree lodge team, I ran into a lot of issues with the ferry on my birthday and the girls in reception were very accommodating, turning on the blanket so when we arrived at 6am we were cozy and even buying me a birthday present ! You guys truly made my day and i can’t thank you enough <3 Room 5 was amazing. It was very clean and private, do not have a single fault whatsoever other than i couldn’t stay longer :(

What a fantastic place to stay. Nothing could be faulted, from the intricate decor to the location. Our accommodation was magnificent, with a Spa Bath and an overhead shower. The studio is fully furnished and decorated to make it feel like home. The chairs are really comfy and suitable for people of all shapes and sizes, which we appreciate. The bed itself is so comfortable that you won't want to get off of it. Thank you to the employees for creating such a welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel like a home away from home. The booking and check-in processes were simple, and I appreciated how they communicated across all platforms. A very convenient location for an easy walk to the centre of Blenheim and simple access for car-drivers. We stayed in three of the rooms over two occasions and enjoyed each one. Clean and tidy with all that you need for a short stay. Yvonne was most helpful and her laundry service was very helpful.

Gorgeous, small-scale accommodation within easy walking distance from town. Terry and Yvonne were superb hosts and made us feel so welcomed. Fantastic support from Yvonne when we arrived late on 05 Feb only for me to discover I’d carefully booked 05 Mar. Yvonne calmed me down, found us a room, gave us tips on where to eat, and even helped find an option for the next night (because I’d done the same thing again). Room was very comfortable and a great location. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back on that basis alone, but the service really rescued this trip for me and for that I thank you!

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment. It was clean, spacious and well-equipped. The beds were heated as well. Location of the lodge is great as well, a short walk away from the town centre.

Once again Terry & Yvonne have been the most wonderful hosts at Two Tree Lodge. The 3 bedroom apartment is perfect for 3 couples to enjoy a relaxing break away. Our group travel down to Blenheim annually for "Savour in the Park", a wonderful event held in Pollard Park. If you're planning a visit to Blenheim, we highly recommend contacting Terry & Yvonne and book a few days at Two Tree Lodge. Marlborough has so much on offer. Take the time to visit Pelorus Bridge, include a stop at The Trout Hotel in Canvastown on the way back to Blenheim, and visit "The Shop" next door to "The Trout", as they have some wonderful gifts at extremely reasonable prices. You need cash though. Next stop on your way back from Pelorus, is the "Slip Inn" Cafe/Restaurant in Havelock. All our meals were delightful and I highly recommend the Seafood Chowder. If you're looking for an extremely tasty meal out at night, go no further than "Dodson Street Bar/Restaurant", but be very careful if you play Russian Roulette with the Pizza. It will blow your mind! Breakfast is enjoyed at "Raupo Cafe", with a beautiful outlook over the Taylor River. Their big breakfast is delicious. Thanks again Terry & Yvonne for your hospitality and we look forward to seeing you both again in the future.

Kia Ora! Our most recent trip to Aotearoa included a fantastic stay at the Two Tree Lodge in Blenheim, South Island, New Zealand. We have travelled all over Aotearoa on over 30 trips, and we have never experienced such a beautiful & smartly designed room in a great location. First off, the Tow Tree Host and Owner, Yvonne, spent valuable time with us as we checked in to ask our interests, make useful suggestions and options from the area, and noted them down for us and that was so impressive to us. Now, the room. It was the best room we stayed in our entire trip and we nominate it as the best designed room with the smartest features we have stayed in during our many visits to South Island. including a wonderful comfortable outdoor space to enjoy our coffee in the morning and our wine in the evening. The room was average size and the comfortable set up gave us a sitting area indoor for the rainy bits. The bathroom was so smartly designed with the no drip shower doors and the vanity drawers which work around the plumbing beneath the sink which works so well. Even the towels were thick, fluffy, and absorbent. Comfortable bed, bedding, access to Sky TV service and apps, and the Mitsubishi Heat Pump AC completed the awesome room set up. Yvonne offered service every day and she was always so pleasant for our entire stay. We noticed there was rarely a vacancy which was filled by the end of each day. So conveniently located to beautiful parks and walks as well as a short walk to the CBD area and fun shopping and eating. We truly give this location 10 out of 10 and we want to come back again, and we will certainly stay at Two Tree Lodge with our new friend Yvonne when we do. Mahalo Yvonne! Ross & Jan

A really outstanding motel . We stayed in Unit 5 , a studio unit at the back of the section which was very private and quiet. So unusual not to have to worry about other guests passing the unit and able to see in. There are sliding doors on the back of the unit which lead into a private courtyard with good out door furniture ...sofa ,chairs and a table ..we would love to come back in better weather to make more use of it . The bed was comfortable , the unit was well equipped and I loved that there were ice cubes ready in the little freezer and that guests are trusted with good ordinary coat hangers ( not the awkward sort you have to fit together !). The owner was welcoming and helpful ...so what more could one want ....we will be back .

What a hidden gem in central Blenheim. Having been in the travel industry and travelled extensively, it is clear Yvonne and her team love what they do and that they have high standards when it comes to the look and feel of their rooms and the property in general. The rooms are well appointed, a home away from home being comfortable and cozy, immaculate with upkeep, and the rooms have all the amenities one could need, whether staying a few nights or a week+. All rooms also have their own car parks, and the location is superb - an easy walk into town to grab a bite to eat, to visit the awesome new Blenheim Library, or to do business. Or you could take a stroll or enjoy bike ride along the scenic Taylor River with an entrance right across the road (they even have lock-up facilities for your bike if needed). I also love the fact they care for the environment with their efforts and commitment to sustainability! With excellent service, and QualMark accreditation, if you are looking for the perfect stay for your Marlborough getaway, look no further than Two Tree Lodge.

A hidden gem! Lovely little boutique-style motel tucked away in Blenheim. Beautifully decorated and serviced, friendly and approachable hosts, comfortable and impeccably clean. Close to everything and a short drive to Picton for the ferry. Very well priced for how it’s presented. Worth considering if you’re looking at staying in Blenheim.

We stayed for two nights, having picked up a rental car in Picton - it’s only 30 minutes drive to Two Tree Lodge and it’s then a short distance to walk into town or around the local pork. Our room was very modern and stocked with everything we might need, and more. We have stayed in several hotels/motels around NZ in the last few weeks and this was the best so far - we felt very comfortable and loved using the outdoor terrace for a glass of wine in the evening. Blenheim itself seems to be suffering from staff shortages, with many places closing early or not opening at all. However, we found a couple of good places to eat/drink and also had the facilities in the fully equipped kitchenette in our room.

Very welcoming on a cold wet evening after a ferry crossing. Very nicely decorated , very clean and a lovely bath !! We can highly recommend a stay ,close to centre and supermarkets. Nice host .Would be handy if you were going to an event at their wonderful new theatre .Not far from the cafe on the river bank we can highly recommend for breakfast Raupo. Nice building and take note of the doors .

The 3 bedroom apartment was exceptionally well-appointed with everything a family could possibly want for a short stay. The service from Yvonne was first class - nothing was a problem and local information and recommendations were readily available. Helpful, warm and personable.

We booked the 3 bedroom apartment, couldn't ask for better, great friendly communication, very well presented, spacious and clean. Comfy beds, bathroom and kitchen well stocked, good water pressure.
