C. L.This was a good sized, clean room with a kitchenette. The garden in the back was lovely. The bed was ok, not lumpy but the whole thing bounced every time my husband rolled over. We could also hear the nearby road noise more than expected.
p. k.Great location, but unfortunately, there's a bit of gravel leading up to the property. The room is clean and tidy, although it doesn't quite meet motel/hotel standards does not a proper reception. There's room for improvement . thanks for having us
J. D.A great place to stay if you are going to Hobbiton and Waitomo. It is a little tucked away from the main centre of Cambridge but a lovely welcome and great directions from the owner. Very well kept gardens which the rooms each have a door onto with a small patio.
I was really impressed with the service as I left something behind and the owner very kindly posted it to me. Thank you.
G. &. S. S.The walls are very very very thin. Could hear the eldery couple next door. Some things you never want to hear!! Also heard the phone conversation both them and the caller. Maybe some sound proofing? Butter would also be better than margarine also or at least a choice. Nice lawns. Only one bedside lamp. Nice bathrooms and good shower.
S. R.The driveway was quite hard to find with the houses going up in the area but other that that we LOVED it. Beautiful rooms, lovely hosts. totally will go back and recommend to everyone.

D.Gorgeous setting,hospitable,helpful owner and very clean and comfy room and bed.I wouldn't call the accommodation "cottages" nor "luxury" though.If you want a comfortable room with decorative touches in a peaceful setting,this is ideal but the fridge is tiny, and the dishes must be washed in the bathroom basin.A very expensive studio.
S.Was a bit of a confusing drive to get into the actual venue it was a skinny driveway surrounded by mud and dirt for miles..got woken up at 7.30am by a bulldozer thumping at the back of our room the whole unit and was shaking..loud and dusty
