S.Absolutely loved it here! We were accommodated the early check in we asked for, hosts were absolutely lovely, room was beautiful and clean and supplied with tea and coffee and a fridge and a lovely breakfast was supplied too. I'd 100% stay here again in a heat beat!
L.Beautiful villa. We stayed in the Midsummer room, it was surprisingly warm (due to a large radiator) as we stepped in from a winter night. Small issues were the mini fridge didn’t seem cold enough, the jug seemed to take a while to boil, and the pillows were a bit hard so I used the cushions.
Even so, it was a pleasure to stay in this room. The grand wooden furniture made it feel very cosy and Shakespearean (except with all the modern amenities you’d want). Highly recommended.
M.It is difficult to give a rating as we stayed in the caravan. It is a nice caravan but we did not realize that it really is like camping with a camping toilet which is filling up quickly and a shower that needs reheating after 5 Minutes of showering. For us it would have been good to have known that in advance.
P.Nice B&B with talkative hosts. Tease them about the broken English cars in the garage and the working Japanese ones on the driveway. The path from parking to room has pebbles and stepping stones - caution if you have large bags.
j.A step up from the usual B&B. Nicely appointed rooms /bathrooms. Really enjoyed the breakfast facility in the back garden.
R.This place is literally a gem, the pictures dont do justice to the place. We got a room that was totally perfect and felt like home, bathroom was newly renovated. Totally spotless bathroom and bedroom. All necessary items were there. Wifi speed was really good, and best we got in any hotel/motel in NZ.
It is 20 mins away from hobbiton movie set. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Loved the place. Totally recommend it.

A.(Translated) Friendly landlords, beautiful grounds and the rooms are clean and pretty. Also the bed was finally one where you don't sag.
There is also a small breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, muesli, jam ...... coffee and milk.

Freundliche Vermieter, wunderschönes Gelände und die Zimmer sind sauber und hübsch. Auch das Bett war endlich mal eines wo man nicht durchhängt.
Es gibt auch ein kleines Frühstück mit frischen Obst, Joghurt, Toast, Müsli, Marmelade......Kaffee und Milch.
