Fantastic place, very comfy and modern rooms. The Chinese receptionist was professional, nice, friendly and helpful. I’m glad I found this place!

This place has saved my sanity twice now when I needed to be in Christchurch for at least a week. Quiet, clean and warm. The desk and WiFi excellent for work with a small private balcony attached to the room for break time. While it has parking it is next to a bus stop with useful bus routes. Strongly recommend.

This is a wee honey of a boutique hotel.. It's new, modern and secure. Swipe card to enter the hotel or undercover car parking. Throughly thoughtful set up for the modern traveler. Not too many rooms or people. Micky on the front desk is professional and courteous and everything is done smoothly, check in prompt etc.. The private little balcony alcove is great small feature off the room. Highly recommend as best value for money room in Christchurch

A 1 night stay here at the Best Western Alpine Hotel. Good location at the bottom end of Riccarton, and only a few minutes drive from the airport. Check in was hassel, and there were no car parks out the front, and I had to park several hundred meters down the street. Man at check in was friendly and efficient. I found a $200 hold on your card to be very excessive when other comparable places only hold around $50. Parking was off a side street, behind some takeaway shops under the hotel (roller garage door) had to get out of the vehicle to swipe the key card. Very very tight carparks, and seemed to be quite limited. Room was well appointed, with a large comfy bed, big TV and a lovely black tiled bathroom. A nice touch was a little outside patio, a view of nothing but a concrete wall, but nice all the same! Shower pressure was a little low I thought, but that is a matter of opinion I guess. I was awoken several times during the night with people talking loudly in the hallway and banging doors. No Sky TV, just freeview. All in all a good stay, and good value for money. I would return

Room is excellent, clean tidy and modern, probably the newest room in the area. Can tell its a new building, come with fridge, microwave, modern hd tv, aircon, reliable and fast WiFi, newly furnished bathroom, bedside lamps even have wireless charging features, you even get a small balcony which is great for a cuppa in the arvo, more importantly the location is excellent, close to all the shops on riccarton and countdown is just right opposite the road. Secured locked under covered free parking is also available. Mikey is really friendly and helpful, we have been well looked after by the team during the stay. Definitely would come again.

Great clean room. Modern decor. Large TV, much more in the kitchenette than expected, including a coffee plunger, microwave and toaster. Continental breakfast was cheap and satisfying. Bathroom was modern. Had my own secluded deck with table and chairs. So close to many varied eateries and a Countdown supermarket just across the road. Couldn't hear any traffic noise from my room so sleep was easy. Close to work so I'll be back.

Very modern design and newly built hotel rooms (apparently opened in 2019). Reception was friendly at check in, as well as when we were booking over the phone. Location is close to many shops, Countdown and restaurants, particularly chinese stores and eateries as there's an asian shopping plaza nearby. Parking in the building is tight and limited to X amount of cars so may need to park on side street if none available. Very pleasant experience, would stay again if in the area.

This hotel honestly surprised me. Room was clean and modern great little balcony. Bathrooms are recently renovated and very nice. A large TV. If you want somewhere cheap that feels well above the star rating this is great. Good location very happy.

Our visit here was pleasant. Great central location. Has a Countdown supermarket across the road which is open until midnight daily. Unfortunately we found that 1 small roll of toilet paper wasn't enough for people sharing room 801 apartment setting. Minimal cutlery for an appartment. We were also advised on one evening that there was a carpenter booked in for scheduled maintenance on the curtains in our room so we had to lock up our belongings and vacate the room for a bit while work was carried out, we felt this should be done while no one is occupying the room. Our bathroom fan was not working so steam lingering was an issue in our room. Room had a heat pump which worked as it should do, cool, hot and nice and quiet. Great that the hotel has an onsite car park available for guest located at the rear of the hotel down an alley way. Good customer service from hotel staff and communication around late check in was good! Overall 3/5 stars.

Very nice place to stay. Friendly team willing to help you out any way possible. Due to the fact that it is very recently built makes it even better. Wish I had more time on my visit to chill out there. Close walking distance to a lot of restaurants, supermarket across the road and best of all a wee sports bar to have a drink or few at. Very much reccomend staying here.

The room was good Customer was good But in expedia website they had mentioned comes with parking but upon arrival they said we had to book it in advance which was never mentioned in the advertisement Spend almost as same amount to the parking as the price of room with this misguided advertisement

Spent only the day here as we arrived in chch hours before our flight and wanted a place to relax. The lady at reception was very accommodating and rooms were spacious, tidy and modern. Thanks

I like this place. It is new and clean and everything I ask for during my stay. The parking space is a bit limited especially during holiday season plus couple of supermarket near by. This is the place to stay.

The rooms were nice and spacious and very clean. Great location. The staff were very nice and helpful. Lots of places to eat near by.

A great stay in this excellent new Hotel, comfy beds, secure parking, clean rooms, minutes from Benson Chinese (best in Chch) me and my partner really enjoyed our stay and thank you for your hospitality Eunice, you were great!
