Had me for one night, very warm welcome. A few min walks to plenty of food courts and bars. Big double room, clean stuff, iron, clothes hangers, coffee tea, microwave, heating and cooling systems and tv are available inside. The mini-fridge is enough for a short stay. The elevator is a bit old but clean and serviced well. No managing team after 8 pm and before 8 am. No clue about food service honestly but don't mind.

Very clean, comfortable, handy to everything spacious apartments. Was very pleased to find complimentary Tuatara plunger coffee in the kitchen!

Excellent location. Very nice receptionist on arrival. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

This is the best place to stay in Christchurch city.Prime location!!! Walking distance to all the great spots- cafes, bars, a dairy, liquor shop and the hop on hop off tram is right outside the building which I highly recommend doing. Spacious rooms. Clean. Comfy beds and great water pressure. We would definitely stay here again.

I thought it was great. Spacious, clean, had everything I needed. Only small thing, the lounge furniture could have been a little more soft and comfortable. I'd say 4.5

Clean and quiet. Great room servicing. Close to all sorts of central city bars,shopping and restaurants. Net curtains long gone from my room , creating a privacy issue as tower two looks straight in. TV remote locked out of everything but on/off...had to use toggle behind screen to change volume and channels etc. Good price despite these handful of small negatives... Would stay again.

Nice and centrally located, walking distance to downtown, Hagley Park, museums, art gallery, great coffee- in the arcade downstairs, new Regent Street, Riverside Market. Rooms are well kept, have stayed here several times before and will stay again. Secure car parking available onsite, requires arranging prior.

Great facility so close to town. Needed to move room because of a very noisy piece of roofing banging in the wind. Was no problem and staff really helpful. Spotless room and bathroom.

Clean as always and well equipped and reasonable priced. Only issue was a very noisy freestanding aircon unit that had to be turned off despite the room been hot and stuffy owing to its noise. Could do with a routine wall mounted heatpump.

Book a studio room. Reasonably pleased with the amenities such as the kettle and microwave. The room was extremely clean and modern. The only downside is the TV had a lot of static and was unusable. We stayed on the 6th floor (room 61b) and it sounded like there is a gym above us with banging or jumping which was annoying. The service was very good when checking in. Ground and facilities clean. Would stay again.

Wow, what a great stay. Greatly exceeded our expectations. Hadn't booked for years as apartments all looked a bit vanilla on sites, but not at all. And really well laid out. Tram at door and square, library a stones throw. Will definitely be back 👍👍

Great location and hellful staff. The apartment was on the top floor and had 2 bedrooms. It has an equipped kitchen and washing machine.

Usual hotel room, perfectly adequate. Very annoying that they feel the need to charge a surcharge for using a credit card, this practice should be outlawed, and $15 to securely park a motorbike is theft, for these reasons I wont go back plenty of other places in town to stay

Great location, right next to Cathedral square and city centre. Parking in basement area but cost an extra $18 per day. Lots of great restaurants, cafe and bars within close distance.

You can't beat the location of this hotel. The rooms are efficient, mostly spacious, and have everything you would want - kitchenette, laundry, TVs, living space. It's stark inside the rooms, so don't expect much personality or flare. Each wing of the hotel has is serviced by only one fairly small and slow-moving elevator, so be prepared for a brief wait to get to your floor. I would stay here again, but I'm glad I'm prepared for the spartan ambiance of the rooms.

Very nice studio apartments and well planned out. I was very glad with the washer dryer, an outstanding machine!! The room is luxurious and very clean. Small kitchette was very useful. very close to stores and very friendly staff

Location and cleanliness of this hotel was excellent. The bed!!! OMG, the bed was amazingly comfortable. The best we have ever slept on. While the room was a bit smaller than one we had in a Quest in the North Island, it was, nevertheless big enough for a one night stay. A longer stay might mean looking if they have a larger option. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Great short stay at the Quest. Came during the week to go on The Tranzalpine but Covid shutdown meant we had to postpone, thankfully the Quest provided peace and quiet after a days outing with excellent daily cleaning provided to our unit (Rm 600). Locality to food places, coffee, alcohol store, lotto outlet, barber, convenience store all under cover at the ground level. The hop on/off tram starts right at your doorstep! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Excellent location with the tram depot on our doorstep. Our two rooms shared a single outer door which was very convenient for us as we just left the inner doors wedged open.

Good location, clean, comfortable with large dining room, living room and bedroom. It’s good for family or people would stay longer which you may go to supermarket only 5 mins walk for self cooking. However, it won’t be an ideal place if you are looking for quiet environment because it’s in the city center and bars just downstairs. Also, please consider be here earlier, before 8pm (especially in summer because self-driving traveller like me would like to enjoy outside and won’t get to hotel early). Although they did leave envelope for self-check in but still, not very convenient because no staff here, only duty manager answer the call...

Phenomenal location. The staff is great. We got there during a sweltering heat wave. They didn't have air conditioning (most places in Christchurch didn't) because they don't normally get that hot. When we asked about it, they upgraded us to a room with a balcony so we could open the doors to get more air, and brought us extra fans. Super thoughtful. They stored our luggage for us while we went on a 4 day hike at no cost. When we got back, they put us in another upgraded room, and had installed a new air conditioner. Again, great service, great amenities, great location. Quest will be my first choice when I return.

Spotless clean hotel, very friendly and competent staff, perfect location in the center of Christchurch (which is relatively small anyway). We occupied a "Studio". Enough space to let 2 large luggage open in room, but definitely not enough shelves/furniture, especially in and around the bathroom.

The room rate was great, location right next to Cathedral Square in the heart of Christchurch and most of all the bed was extremely comfortable. Had the best sleep in a while and my wife agreed about the bed too. The room was small, but served our overnight stay purpose perfectly. Would stay again.

Clean, good location but nothing fancy. You get what you pay for. We did get upgraded which was nice but the people upstairs were walking/jumping around all night. The lifts are horrible/slow. It's a 3 but being picky as we did stay at some unreal places in NZ.

These apartments are in central Christchurch so everything is at your doorstep. It has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, tvs in all the rooms, lovely decor, friendly staff and they were well priced. We would definitely stay again.

Poor staff attitude. We booked via internet for 2 adults and 2 children and were given a double bed and a single bed. Leaving us a bed short. They finely gave us a cot which the 3 year old was really too big for. Very convenient to the airport. Quiet and clean (but an older place)

Stayed during summer in the two bedroom two bathroom apartment. Loved the location (right next to cathedral junction and new regent street). The apartment itself was actually two separate rooms joined together. It was a good size overall but the bathroom is relatively small. Staff were accommodating even though we had issues with bedding arrangement and it was relatively late when we arrived (our train was delayed). I liked that there was a 2-in-1 washer/dryer in the room too. We didn’t have a car at this leg in our trip so no comments about parking. Overall decent stay at the price we paid despite some hurdles at the beginning.

Good location. We're a family of 5, staying in a 2 bedroom apartment. Very basic furnishings and no access to Rugby World Cup!!! Pretty expensive too.

This is a lovely little pocket in the heart of Christchurch. The trams come right through the mall at Cathedral Junction. Perfect location and nice touches to make you feel at home. Comfortable surroundings with a whimsical touch of art and fun snacks. All much appreciated after a 12 hours

Great location and easy access to town with great staff. The rooms are a little tired and the area outside has alot group congregation and is noisy.

Really good sized rooms, comfy bed and pillows. Shower heat didn't work properly for us, but other than that, no complaints. Great location right by Cathedral Square so easy to get to other sites and explore Christchurch. Parking is located right by the hotel and really easy to navigate (NZD$15 a day), a lot easier than other hotels I've stayed in thats for sure!

Perfect location at Cathedral Junction. Lots of eateries and bars nearby. Walking distance to everything - botanic gardens, Quake Museum, etc. Sushi restaurant and wine shop less than 50m from the door. Was upgraded from a studio to 1 bedroom for free.

We had to cancel our stay but must say all the staff that we communicated with were very professional and understanding. I even had a package delivered there in anticipation of our stay and they managed it perfectly in spite of us not staying in the end. I will definitely look to book here in the future given the level of service.

Great stay at the Quest. Apartment was spacious and in good condition. The service was great with apartments cleaning daily and any used washing powders or tea/coffee replinished daily. Great location close to main city

Excellent location at a brilliant price! Comes with parking if you've hired a car for your NZ adventure! Pros: - Good price, comes with underground parking - 3 blocks away from a major food district: Little High Eatery - The hotel is over the station for the city tram tours, so a good place to get to know Christchurch - Close to the city centre for some local landmarks Cons: - Fire alarm went off during the night and had to wait outside with the rest of the residents in the building for 30min, until the fire brigade gave the all clear! But I suppose that was a one off event.

It was clean n tidy, comfy bed n good shower, probably stay on ground level next time, especially if you have a bit of luggage.

Well like all Quest apartments could be in any city but the quality and the condition of the rooms is the same everywhere great midrange accommodation right in the heart of Christchurch the place to stay in fact there's a visitors tram runs right through the middle of This Place but as I said not really recovered yet from the bad earthquakes they had but if you're in NZ go and have a look

Good Location, with the trams passing just outside under a glass roof. Very nice. Rooms are quite good, nice bathroom but a very very small kitchen bench.

Clean, compact room. Very comfy bed. Unfortunately had a kids cricket team there and the internal doors were banging every minute from them moving around

It was really good...I only stayed for 1 night.. They made my time worth it.. Very centrally located. Trams can be accessed every 15 mins. Overall nice place.

Glenn's AirBnB Apartment in the same building was superb & a great value in the best location The tram stops inside the building. There's a convenient store, a liquor store, several restaurants, as well as the tram main ticket office right there in the atrium. The ticket office also sells tickets to other tours. There's a street with several restaurants, bars , coffee, ice cream, boutique, etc. shops are across the street (in the direction from which the tram enters the atrium). The Cathedral is practically across the corner from the building. The main shopping district is 2-3 blocks away (in the direction in which the tram leaves). The new boutique supermarket (on the far side of the same main shopping center) is across the bus station (perhaps 5-6 blocks away). Glen was a great host. He has a one bedroom and an efficiency in the building (they are next to one another). The one bedroom was clean & quiet, with good, free internet WiFi, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and everything we could've asked for, included. We'd stay there again. Wild recommend it to my own mom!

The place is at an excellent location and has good rooms and at least ours had a marvelous shower. We were there during christmas and the reception was still available. Gaps in service were notified well in advance.

The place is clean but the cutout is a bit cheap and tired - the bed wasn't very comfortable and the 'air con' leave a lot to be desired. There will be better motels nearby.
