J.This place is really nice and great place to stay once your in Christchurch. The apartment we're in has 2 Queen beds it spacious has a couch and very tidy place. Looks brand new building. We love our one night stay we definitely be back here. Not too far from the city center and Philippine Consulate Christchurch where we went there for. Just a walking distance to city center and mall and shops.
N.Must stay here. Very beautiful accommodation in the city center. Very neat, clean and safe. Has all the facilities and loved our stay here. Very clan and pretty place. Accommodating staff and good experience.
C.Super central location, we were able to stay out late in the city with only a quick walk back. Reasonably small rooms but I've never understood the appeal of large hotel rooms if you're not staying in them all day. We did get woken kind of early by tradies on site but we were in a room right next to the car park so I don't imagine that's common. Overall a lovely and cozy place to stay!
K.Very nice accommodation in a great location in Central Christchurch. The apartment was spacious, tidy, and well maintained. The grounds are well maintained. Our only issue was fitting our large vehicle in very tight parking.

T.Superior Queen studio booked. The room size is fine for one person, some space to store clothing and a kitchenette. Not the standard I was under the impression it would be. The bathroom is dated. Feels as though staying in a private room with ensuite in a hostel. Clean, just not the modern space advertised
K.This was our 3rd time staying here. Room was clean and tidy. A bit noisy being across from the laundry room. The water from the shower got over the floor. Great priced rooms to stay in town. Good New World down the road. The cafe Unknown Chapter next door is lovely and well worth a visit.
P.Coming here the second time. It's very clean apartment and friendly staff. Little noisy in the morning when cleaners come to clean their respected hotel rooms but other than that it's very good. Parking site is good too but limited parking
so book ur parking prior so that u have somewhere to park on. :)
P.This is a brand new complex just outside the central business district. It Is well presented and clean . My superior apartment had a kitchen with microwave . The shower was very good and the water very hot. Parking on site was cheap . Very close to restaurants and bars and walkable to the major sites . Would recommend.
J.Great place, great location. Didn't pay a whole lot for the room so understandably small. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable
S.The room we got was very nice and cozy and contains all the equipment we needed for the night - microwave, fridge, kettle, plates and utensils. Very convenient location as well - walking distance to the Christchurch bus interchange which was always the starting point for our excursions in the city. The lady on the receptions was very courteous. I forgot to ask her name but her demeanor was highly commendable and she immediately relays all our requests to the relevant parties. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. It's also very near a cafe with awesome food so we didn't have to navigate too far to get breakfast. Highly recommended!

S.It is very handy to what we go to in Christchurch and very friendly staff. We also got upgraded which was a lovely surprise.
I couldn't get a carpark on site but that was my fault because I hadn't prebooked one.
P.I booked the Compact Studio the rooms are very nice and stylish though it might be a little squeezy with two people, but it was just myself so plenty of room to stretch out. The room had everything I needed to reheat my dinners I cooked in the common kitchens which were very well equipped for a hotel.
I didn't drive but I understand that parking is very limited so that might be a factor if you do drive.
It's in a nice and very convenient part of town, most things are within walking distance. The gym down the street must have some agreement with the owners because it's $10 a visit. If you're somehow interested in working out on your holiday the moderately sized gym is well equipped. A stand out for me where the bathrooms (small but nice and modern) and the kind reception staff who was able to check me in 3 hours early when I came by to dropoff my suitcase while exploring the city prior to my check-in.
My only gripe is that my room internet would occasionally cut out for 10 minutes or so however, there's is however a general wifi which you can connect too, not quite a speedy as the room wifi but it does just fine for videos etc
For what I paid, just over $100nz p/n, I would recommend Southwark Apartments.
A.Really nice accommodation! Had an en suite, kitchenette, hair dryer, coffee plunger, iron, fridge & TV. Room was really comfortable and easily accessible. For the price we paid this place defiantly exceeded our expectations. The street parking was quite difficult that was the only downfall i had with this place as there is alot of parking that is metered so be sure to look around for a spot that wont cost you! Staff were really friendly and the location was really convenient to walk into the town.
E.Was really surprised and happy with our experience here. We booked for a very discounted price through expedia and was pleasantly surprised. Compact studio is compact but really is all you need. Having a few basic kitchen pieces such as plates and things and a toaster is really helpful and helps save on having to buy breakfast. The bed however was pretty uncomfortable. The reception staff were really great and very helpful. Expedia doesn't make it clear that parking must be pre booked and that makes things very difficult as parking is horrible. Really nice new building with pretty good budget accommodation
F.Stayed here for two nights at a discounted rate. Room was in clean and tidy (almost new) condition. Has the usual facilities as expected for accommodation of this type... Private shower, Freeview TV, Tea / Coffee making facilities.
Situated just outside of the Central area, Southwark is close to Pak’n Save (A large supermarket), with lots of eateries nearby. Main bus terminal about two blocks away (7-10 minutes walk)
Reception is staffed on a rotating shift. (Different staff member each day). Majority of the staff I found were friendly.

c.Great appartments from small studio type to 2 bedroom. Cleaned everyday and well presented and well equipped, internet included. Close to town and attractions. Food hall 100metres away that serves a great variety of food at modest prices
J.Stayed during summer. Very modern and new apartment. Beds not comfortable though (very starchy/noisy sheets when you make any movement). Booked though Expedia. I asked for a parking space to be reserved but no contact was made - not to even say that no more parks were available. I booked about two months prior to arriving too (very disappointed with this). Parking in Christchurch is a nightmare. But I guess the receptionist did try and help point out some places where we could park. We had some issues with our credit card but reception were very professional about this. Probably one of the few upsides to staying here. Apartment is walking distance to some cafes which is good because after we found a park, you really want to avoid moving your car because you know it’s going to take forever to find another carpark. Perhaps because it’s new and staff are still trying to get the hang of things (especially when it comes to communication!) I’ve given this place the benefit of the doubt with 4/5 stars. Other than issues listed above, it was a decent stay with very good facilities.

I.This little place literally has everything you need for a few nights stay. Compact but very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff, 24 hr reception, great location and close to everything :) very comfy bed and seems that wifi was unlimited . It was fast and never failed unlike other hotels/motels . Super happy
K.Spotlessly clean, new and modern, excellent location - 5 mins to town, good bars and eating places nearby. Great wifi, tv with Netflix, good laundry facilities (cheaper than a few holiday parks). No issues with noise and we stayed over a weekend. Friendly and helpful staff. Also used nice gym at the end of the road for $10. 100% worth $75 per night. Had to pay $10 to park each night on site however some street parking was available close by.
L.Very well located. Close to the city center and a lot of restaurants and pubs, but it's difficult find parking in the street and park into the hotel costs 10$ per day.
The rooms are very clean although the shower was broken.

But don’t be too late to check in if you drive because there is not so many poking lots and you will need to find your own parking space outside.
M.The location is great that nearly PAKnSAVE supermarket which is cheaper than Countdown supermarket;you can walk there in 5 mins.The room is clean and bed is soft.The best one is the shower is really good not too weak.
The only one bad is there’s one pub so it’s better to wear earplugs into sleep.

T.It may be modern, clean and reasonably cheap but the parking and at times the reception staff sucked. You think there is onsite parking but it costs, which is ok but the spaces go quickly and get stolen off you just as quick if you happen to leave for a short while... in this regard the staff were not particularly helpful but in the end we parked on site ... just not in an actual car park spot. Also the shower head was turned out the screen door do we got wet on turning it on.... grrrr... not funny, sort of, it did happen to my partner though so in that way it was funny. Shower itself not bad though although bathroom and room expremely compact. The dryer was $2 for 20 mins do maybe put on permanent press setting that may be hotter, and don’t forget there is a wheelchair lift in building A that can be used... well we did anyway. So all in all not overly impressed with our stay.

S.Rooms were comfortable if a bit small. A bit noisy at night from other guests until 2am in the morning. Very close to town, meaning you can walk to a number of good cafes and restaurants in the new Christchurch CBD as well as many tourist destinations. Would look at staying again for the ease of access.

The counter provides 24-hour service, and the attitude of the service staff is very good! Kind and enthusiastic, you can store your luggage for free after check-out. I only stayed for one day but I feel very good!
