X.It's a very comfy heritage building with England style and much more interesting experience than those soulless modern hotels for me. The cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in, very satisfied, will visit again.
J.We have had a wonderful stay at the hotel for 2 nights. Nice and spacious room which is thoroughly clean and conveniently located near the city centre.

Z.The room is very elegant and the bed in particular is awesome and comfortable. The location is very convenient with sundry store nearby and city centre is also not far away. Very good stay and will definitely return on the best future.
g.We were luck enough to stay at Highland House just before the Covid 19 lock down. We found the rooms very well appointed, spacious and very clean. The owners of the business were very obliging and helpful and went out of there way to help us. We would definitely stay there again. Close to all amenities.
L.Very elegant hotel, in a perfect location. The place throw you back to the past, yet with all the comfort of modern time.
The carpark is a bit tricky to get out of, but there is plenty of on street parking.
Different (better!) than you usual hotel/motel place, with friendly yet discret owners.

C.Stayed here recently during a trip to Dunedin - such a lovely hotel! The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. The service is amazing with the owners going out of their way to assist you however they can. Slept really well here, would happily stay again when in Dunedin :-)

s.Stayed over Queens birthday for three nights as a return customer due to beautiful, immaculate rooms, helpful and friendly service and the perfect location for easy walks to town, uni and gardens. Love the character of the buildings, highly recommended, will use when in Dunedin as my base,

I.(Translated) A very fast reception, we are not used to this and feels a bit impersonal.
The rooms are clean however the windows are dirty and the paint peeling off the window frames. Breakfast was okay, nothing special but not bad either.

Een zeer snel ontvangst, dit zijn we niet gewend en voelt wat onpersoonlijk.
De kamers zijn schoon echter de ramen zijn vies en de verf bladert van de kozijnen. Ontbijt was oké, niet bijzonder maar ook niet slecht.
