J.I would like to thank the amazing staff. After learning of my wife's surgery they upgraded us to a more accessible room, which made her recovery so much easier. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
A.My gorgeous Mum stayed here during her treatment at Dunedin Hospital. Staff were super friendly, professional & so helpful. She said that the food was great & bed was comfortable. Super quiet. Mum loved the little gardens. We highly recommend this hotel. Thank you very much Mr Pan & your awesome team.

The only thing that I can fault is that the shower is slow draining giving the impression it’s either blocked or going to flood the bathroom. Otherwise, I’m definitely staying here again when I go back to Dunedin.

R.It was fine. Looked really good but soundproofing definitely not the best. Woke up through night to flagpole outside banging around, other rooms making noise and the fridge making odd noises to the point I turned it off till morning. But lovely comfy beds and well kept rooms. Just if you're a light sleeper you may have a little bit of a tough time.

L.The team at Victoria hotel are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. There are plenty of food places nearby and two major supermarkets eirher side of the hotel. The hotel is quiet. The only place I stay when in Dunedin.

R.We stayed here for five nights during the school holidays. The location is unbeatable - five minutes walk to Octogon, five minute walk to main strip of shops, two minute walk to two supermarkets. We received a free upgrade to a slightly larger room. The room was very spacious and very clean with a good size kitchenette area, desk and corner chair. The bathroom was lovely. The walls were a little thin but nothing terrible. The hotel has washing machines and dryers on the first floor which are coin operated and very convenient. Friendly staff.
T.Good place to stay. Crack a window it does get hot at night ( king deluxe 2 beds 1 room ) I'll need to take my own pillow next time ( I am fussy ) staff are very nice and accommodating. Room has tea coffee and hot chocolate and uht milk and sugar.

J.Nice hotel. Clean, tidy, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Even got a complementary upgrade because I had to stay a couple nights longer than first booked. The gardens around the car park were beautiful too, not much space to work with but done very well. Made it an even nicer place to be.
Won't be wasting time hunting for accommodation in Dunedin, I will just go straight there, unless of course they are fully booked.

J.I had an unfortunate fall in the bath as the shower was over the bath and was not fitted with a correct grab rail. There was no help from the staff at the hotel and I spent a few hours at a doctors having my wounds attended to. It is ongoing and I still require antibiotics and dressing changes three weeks later. The staff could see my bruised face but never once inquired if I was all right. It was very poor service indeed!

A.We got a really good deal here, then upgraded to a top room with a kitchen, on the end of the building, but the traffic was noisy there. We stayed there again thefollowing week, not upgraded, so no kitchen but it was quieter..nice hotel and super central
c.The hotel is well situated. It’s literally minutes of walking to all places of interest. George Street, The Octagon, the railway station and sandwiched in between 2 supermarkets. The room could sleep 4 people in 4 single beds or 2 king size bed. Well kept too.
However, the windows are not double glazed. The room was still chilly despite the heater was almost at maximum.
Apart from the sarcasm received about the parking prior to check in, it’s definitely a pleasant place to stay.

J.I shared a room with two other women; we were down for the Sweet Adelines singing competition. The thing that really struck us was how warm the room was (for early May). We actually needed the balcony door cracked open at night. Could do with a bit more storage, like drawers in the bathroom and on the bedside furniture. Shower curtain too short and caused puddles to accumulate on the bathroom floor. Great location near the Octagon and two supermarkets and reasonably quiet. The breakfast buffet was nice.

E.Nice hotel, good location. Room had a fridge and a cooker top, although we never used it. There is no air conditioning, so room was quite warm and stuffy.
S.The hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. Having said this, parking is tight. Expect your car to be scratched, the stairs are narrow as are the corridors. The corridors, incidentally, smell similar to the old Mayekiso Hotel corridors in Butterworth (nowadays named Gcuwa), old Transkei, South Africa from the early 1980’s!! The restaurant is prosaic and mediocre at best. Ideal place if you are in Dunedin for some specific purpose like a root canal. But if a tourist or there for fun, stay someplace else.

E.The location for the hotel is good as it is within walking distance from the down town. The room is clean and the charge for car parking is 10 NZ dollar, however, you can try Wilson parking which only take 4 dollars if you are not going in and out during the night.

T.Take your sunglasses. Unless you crave bright white light, at night, you will want them for visiting the bathroom. Controlled by an unstoppable sensor without a switch, you're left with no other option than to wear your shades or face the light of death.
