R.Me, my partner and my sister stayed with Featherston Motels And Camping over the summer period and had a great experience. I spoke with the manager before hand about parking my car before our check in time and he was very accommodating. His knowledge of the area with food options and just how welcome he made us all feel during our stay was great. Fully recommend staying if you're in the area 🙂
H.Had such a brilliant 10 night stay over the last 2wks. The family room was perfect for us and our daughter who is disabled - dream shower for her. Sundar (manager) was welcoming, hillarious, provided lots of info on the surrounding regions to explore and very accommodating with any requests. The Royal Hotel is only 25m walk from the motel - yummy food. I highly recommend this motel but also recommend visitors take their time here as there is so much to do and much of it is free. We used Featherston Motel as our base and travelled outwards to Palliser Bay, Martinborough, Castle Point, Lake Ferry, Wellington (27min away), the Pinnacles and much more. We holiday every year both nth & sth isl and this was one of the best holidays & stay our family has had. Thank you so much Sundar.
J.We arrived to be greeted by Sundar the motel manager, a very friendly professional person and installed in a excellent unit fresh and clean very comfortable indeed. Should we journey to the East Coast again we will definitely call on Sundar for accommodation 😁😁

A.We booked 3 units for a locally held family celebration. Manager, Sundar understood our circumstances if a unit needed to be cancelled due to covid; is friendly and ensured we were comfortable. We would choose to stay longer next time.
V.This place is so well maintained, clean and provides you with everything you need for a place to sleep when visiting the Wairarapa. It also has good heating and electric blankets. We enjoyed our overnight stay here!

We arrived off the ferry very late, he had the room warm and the electric blankets on. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to explore Feasterston and its book shops again. Thank you.

L.I enjoyed my stay @ the Featherston Motel. The Motel is situated just @ the crossroads of Featherston Village & country lane to Martinborough. It is conveniently placed to drive to other villages & 10 Minuits to Greytown, for the Mid Winter Xmas festival. Car parking was just outside the front door. The motel room was spotless with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette had all as new utensils you would need for self catering. The Manager Sundar was very helpful with advice about the area. I would definitely stay there again.

J.Nice clean room, good bed, and modern functional bathroom. Friendly and helpful manager. No fuss check in, and reasonably priced. Limited restaurants for evening meals nearby, but close to supermarket and coffee shops.
J.We had a great time in Featherston for a family wedding. Had 3 units booked and can't complain about anything. Host was great as too were the cleaning staff. Lovely and clean, would recommend to anyone.

G.This place has good prices lovely couple run it and if you don't stay there but need to have shower or clean your clothes thy will let you do it there for a small price
J.Stayed in the back Packers section and found it adequate for the cost per night. Very clean and the hosts were very friendly. I would stay there again. The only downside was the unit being close to the main road but a pair of earplugs helped. Other units were away from the road.
A.The rooms were warm and very clean. It was very windy outside but it was fairly quiet inside. I'll definitely be back.

r.Great place we are new owners of Featherston Motels and Camping Marie and Robert King really loving friendly people in Featherston great Cafes near to the Railway and Wellington. Lovely gift from property brokers Wairarapa for purchase
P.Everything was great! However the "tent space" was just a small patch of grass beside some garden tools and the plugs in the kitchen were very finicky.
