w.A little overprice for what you get. Is an old building that need a little more maintenance and clean. But over all is a good place to past the night
J.Stayed here for 2 days this Easter, the room provided was good for 4 ppl and the washroom and shower was clean and tidy. Table tennis and pool 🎱.good vibe which was unexpected perfect place for sudden plans.
G.we stayed here for a month and a half and it felt like home! Options to stay in your car, tent or a room, for amazing value for money! Tv room, and such a big outside area to socialise and it is clean! The owner is lovely, long term backpackers are so welcoming. I made so many memories in this place, 5*
T.Awesome host lady. She just got up at midnight to let us in because we got a delay. The prices were ok. The facilities clean but a bit outdated. 1 dog and some cats live there. Beds are good. Countdown and some other stores are quite near. Walk to beach 15min
G.Great facilites, but could it have more toilets. The kitchen is dirty. It sucks for the people like me who sleep in their own vans, because it is always very full so, as the owner said to us, if you don’t find a place, park in the street and sleep there (for $15 per person per night)! Also the owner is very rude. I’m not sure if I recommend this place
l.This place makes me feel sad. The building itself is beautiful with original features, stained glass windows and loads of character. The place would be ok if it was clean but the kitchen was quite gross and the bathrooms too. I feel sad because with paint job throughout a new cleaner and tidying up of outside and in the place would be amazing.
K.I spent one amazing week here! The people that stay here are amazing everybody shares their food is kind to eachother. Everybody seems to surf and there is a very laid back vibe going around. Just make sure kushla the manager likes you and you will have a good time :)
J.The best atmosphere in a hostel I have experienced, kitchen and bathroom get cleaned EVERY DAY! Some people are just pigs, you should consider that if you stay in ANY hostel, all facilities are not new, but OK (I know, I am a plumber and electrician) Big outside areas herb garden, grapefruit trees. Free Wi-Fi (only give routers, so on really busy days it's hard to login, but that happened to me once in 4 weeks).
Ursula (the man's manager) is a little strange, but she is alright. There are not many rules, but you should follow them: no guests.
I will come back!!!
A.Very nice place for young backpackers. Tidy and cosy facilities. Excellent for camping or dorms to live and work nearby. You'll find very friendly people and good vibe, especially from Latin America.
B.Feels creepy but like home at the same time. Bathroom is clean but dirty kitchen (as can be expected in a hostel). Would not recommend, but if you have to stay it's a decent place
J.The House is very big, it feels very family, sometimes there are nice Partys, fast free unlimited WiFi in the hole area, the Office Lady is very friendly and very hepful, free unlimited hot Showers, a big chill out area inside and outside, one dog and a few cats living there.
