P.James was very welcoming and helpful to our group. As motorcycle riders we often get a bad rap just because we were leather and ride Harleys but James was very helpful in regards to parking security, entry and exit points and even bike washing facilities. The rooms were clean and well kitted out. Easy location to access with shops and amenities in walking distance. James local knowledge was very helpful to explore the city. Will stay there again if ever down that way. Thanks James and team 👍
C.Courteous, helpful input regarding positioning our oversized vehicle - a moving truck. Very easy access site, spotless well appointed room with spa bath - and a shower that, in an emergency, I imagine could be put to good use by the local fire brigade. Great stay.

C.Great accommodation close to everything in Invercargil. Walking distance to Queens Park. Although on a busy road the units are quiet. We had a 1 bedroom unit. Large king bed very comfortable. Small bathroom but well equipped with tissues on wall, a shelf above the vanity for toiletries, cupboard below. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Compact kitchen but plenty of work surface. Good size small fridge. Nice large table & chairs under window. Single bed in lounge with comfy couch facing adequate size TV. We never watched it, but were told there was Netflix available. Unlimited excellent WiFi free. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.
V.We had a very comfortable stay in a well appointed unit(#3)The room was nice and warm with a heater in the lounge and also 1 in the bedroom. The bed was just right and the unit was nice and clean. Although close to a main road the unit was quiet.
All the staff were nice and friendly. If we visit Invercargill again this would be our 1st choice.
D.Handy location and comfortable. Shower alittle small. Needs coffee tables. Nice staff. Average decor. Perfect for walks at the botanical gardens and visiting the bird Avery. Cafe at the gardens is great.

N.Like a home away from home. Super comfy and roomy. Everything you could possibly need. We only were able to stay one night but would be perfect for longer stays. Great location by Queens Park and an 8 minute walk to two large supermarkets (or a 2 min drive). Close to CBD but still nice and quiet. Exceptional hosts.

J.Located in a quite area yet close to the city. Most of the restaurants are just a short drive away. Very spacious, neat and tidy units. Would recommend staying here especially if you're traveling for work as they provide competitive corporate rates.
V.Fantastic! Last minute booking for us but we lucked out. Val and her team do a great job of keeping this place super clean and so comfortable. Price is reasonable and it was just ideal for our 2 night stay to recover from the Catlins! They seem to get booked out pretty quickly every night and it’s not hard to see why!

C.Awesome hotel. I am a consultant and travel 50% of the time for work. So I rarely get excited by hotels. But this is a great little place.<br/>For those of you from US, don't get fooled by the "motel" in the name. In US, motels are cheaper, more basic and often dirtier comparing to hotels. But that's simply not true in NZ. What I found in NZ is that the word "motel" simply means you park your car right outside your room, and it has no indication on the quality of your room. <br/>We stayed in this hotel for 1 night during 2018 Christmas / 2019 New Year season. It's our favorite hotel on this trip which includes Four Points Sheraton at Auckland, Chateau on the Park by Hilton in Christchurch, Hermitage Hotel at Mt Cook which costs 5 times of this little hotel. Our room was spotless, and the bathroom was one of the cleanest I have seen. And the room has everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen. For those of you in US who are used to Embassy Suites or Residence Inn, this place has better equipped kitchen than those. And fast internet, fastest among all the hotels we have stayed on this trip.<br/>We were greeted warmly by Emily at the front desk. She (with her husband) owns the hotel, and cleans the rooms herself. I believe the family ownership really made this hotel much better than the corporate chains such as Marriott and Hilton.<br/>Of course, nothing is perfect. The beds are not the most comfortable if you compare to Westin's Heavenly Bed, and you won't get room service or find a fitness room. But for what it's offering, this is a great place to stay
D.We stayed here for 3 nights on our tour round the South island. It is in a quiet location and is kept spotlessly clean and tidy. Our host's Ray and Dawn looked after us very well and nothing was too much trouble. All the facilities were excellent.

M.Brilliant motel. Lovely self contained units immaculately clean which stocked everything we needed for our short term stay. Hostess was lovely and helpful, was nice to see a friendly happy welcoming person after our long drive. Beds very comfie with free ultrafast wifi and sky tv in both rooms. Will definitely stay here again, wish we were here longer!

T.What a great motel. Lovely hosts too. The motel is spotlessly clean, modern and has everything you might need. It's located in a very quiet spot within walking distance of the Northern Hotel where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine (vouchers provided by the motel) and a beautiful meal.
