N.Very well appointed rooms, with nice furnishings and amenities. The motel looks to be very recently renovated and it was such a pleasure to stay here. The rooms were very comfortable and the space was very spacious and homely. I liked that the hotel provided towels to take to the beach so we didn't have to use the room towels. The check in process was easy and staff were very accommodating. The motel is right across the road from a small block of shops and cafes so was very well located. It is also a 10 minute walk from the Mount.
The only thing we didn't like was there was no pool on site! But the beach is within walking distance so this wasn't too much of an issue.
Also, be aware that the bars and restaurants close by the motel have licences until the early morning during the weekend so there may be some residual noise. However, this didn't bother us too much as the staff made us aware of it during the booking process.
T.Mount Maunganui is an amazing place to stay, and The Mission Belle is my top choice for accommodation! The motel itself is in the best location possible, and the family that runs it does an impeccable job. A great place to relax or explore all The Mount has to offer. I have stayed in a lot of other accommodation options on my trips to Tauranga and this one is by far the best, just make sure you book well in advance because they are very popular for good reason.
K.Really nice & clean. Room is g8, separate bedroom a plus. Management very approachable- know their stuff & the area. Place to go for a relaxing break - Mount main road only minutes away.
J.Very convenient location. Rooms are adequately furnished . There is no double glazing and no warning on their website about the noise that I could see. If you don't sleep like the dead, you are going to struggle.

M.Nice comfortable stay. Location was perfect! So close to everything we wanted to do. Some great pubs and restaurants close by. The bedroom was really hot though and no air con to cool the place down, just a small fan that didn’t do anything. Staff nice and friendly. Would stay again if I could cool the room down :)

J.Awesum proprieters we will certainly be back :) Loved the quality of this Motel because of amazing owners,of great giving hearts.This is quality to us.Loved the facilities which was very helpful with our fox terrier,and again shows who the owners are.We love the service from reception to housekeeping and a extra mile the owners had done on our behalf ..We arrived back to NZ via Air NZ 28th Feb 2013 into Auck to find our luggage was missing.The next day our luggage had been returned damaged.We arrived to Mission Belle Motel 29th and so it began the nightmare process to have our claim put together,tickets,boarding pass,passports and pixs of both damaged suitcases.We are so very thankful to Cathy and Ray for their help with their scan and pc to have our claim report done and emailed to Air NZ for nothing !!!! We have travelled over 5years around our beautiful country and have stayed in fantastic Motels and Hotels.This amazing couple top the chart on our list:) You guys ROCK and where ever we may go we will be advertising your business x
