M.You can ignore old building of this hotel, if you really looking for a great place to stay when u travel to Mount Maunganui. You will wake up to ocean views. Handy location, close to all the amenities and central location. Rooms were amazing so was customer service

Staff super friendly and remember us from before. Nice sea view apartments to with everything you need, fridge, microwave.

H.Room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, great view of the ocean. Carpark is very tight so if you have a big car you might have trouble getting around the building but apart from that it is a lovely place to stay

P.Staff polite yet nosey. To crampt a carpark when fully booked. Tight on towels. No Milo for the kids. The room and cost we ok. But was trying to cheer my kid up after suiside in the whanau. Lady was nosey. Didn't like my bosses visiting us. Charged us a extra $50 for a Oranga Tamariki foster kid I had to collect on our last night arrived bak at motel 10pm.had to leave 10am. Not worth staying again!! The camera right outside our door was intrusive!!
J.It was ok, priced right for what you got. Safety note: There needs to be safety lighting in the stairwells and the carpark.
I.Great location, right on the beach and walking distance to the main Street.
c.As advertised. Budget. In need of updating. Paint flaking on ceiling in bathroom. Adequate for one night stay. Close to beach. Noisy on road but only for short time. Not sure about how it would be on a weekend thou.

H.Stayed in room 7. Overall condition of the room was average. Had a partial view of the ocean. The front door was damaged where it wouldn't open correctly. Also there were no locks for the bathroom or the toilet. The exhaust fan in the toilet also didn't work and given there were no windows that made things a bit smelly. Overall the room was clean and presentable otherwise.
L.Room was clean yet simple and not much to it. Good view although outside area could be a bit nicer and more secure. Not sure how the reception staff were. Downside was that our unit was right next to reception so we could hear the reception staff. Bathroom was simple and updated. Short walk to shops and restaurants plus across road from beach so reasonably quiet.
E.Could do with a revamp and maybe a fresh paint. Overall a good place to stay, was clean and the front room facing the beach was great, lovely sunshine and atmosphere.
M.Front door to the room needs to be fixed as it gets stuck when closed. No locks on the bathroom and toilet doors. The extract fan didn't work in the toilet. Only one room had an electric blanket. Right on the beach which is great and has a view from the front window.
M.Such lovely people and our room was great New years perhaps wasn't probs the best to review this as I felt liked they filled the accommodation with young people and there was alot of trouble so wouldn't book again round thi s time
J.Went there on New Year’s Eve was great and yes it is an older motel but it was very clean and tidy it’s right across the street from the beach so it’s the best value for money it’s not a fancy place but I have everything we need and we really enjoyed our stay

I.Best value for money. Across the road from the beach and 500m from the restaurants in the main street. It was a bit dated. But the rooms were very spacious.
