s.Good place, friendly staff , economical rate .
There is no parking space . U need to pay and park during the day .
B.OK for one night. Lots of people are staying there for a long time so a bit of weird atmosphere. Kitchen is pretty small but does the job. You can have all you can eat breakfast for 4 dollars. Perfect location next to the main museums and art deco center. Big car park very close to it. Only 1 dollars per hour. No laundry in the hostel but laundromat very close to it too.
V.I'm a visitor there visiting Whānau now yes I would stay here if I was passing thru for sure real nice clean place and rooms that's frm just walking past lol so yes stay here 😊
E.Had an amazing time!!! stayed for 3 months I loved the family atmosphere and definitely recommend. The staff are so friendly and lovely and I hope I can go back :)

E.Everything a hostel needs to be! Would highly recommend staying here, friendly staff, good kitchen, really nice showers, whole hostel gets cleaned daily AND they get all of their sheets professionally laundered! Free wifi and also free parking just up the road. Great location as well, right next to the beach and in the centre of the Art Deco city! Huge value for money!
J.I loved my stay at Archie's - the owner is a very very sweet guy and loves to help where he can. There is a lot of soace to hang out, a neat little balcony area - but the kitchen is very small unfortunately. Also: Your way to the beach is just 50 meters long, which will make for good and long evenings at a beach-campfire. i had a blast during my year in NZ.
R.This is a good quanit hostel. Gayle who running it was fantastic. She is so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place for her alone.
The facilities are decent with a big spacy lounge area with pool. I stayed in 2 rooms over my 2 days upstairs and downstairs. It's definitely worth getting a room upstairs if you can as there are windows and much more space.
It's situated right in the middle of town very close to the I-site.
Overall decent value for money.
L.I have to say we have not had amazing service like this in such a long time. Not only were the receprionists lovely and welcoming but the owner also went above and beyond to take us and pick us up from the Mission Concert venue as we had missed out on the bus service.
We will definitely be back in a heartbeat.
If only we could give a 10 star for service.

И.It was the cheapest option available in Napier for my dates. Location is perfect but I had issues with parking nearby. Cafe and bars nearby. Not the best common showers and toilets, the place really needs some repair and upgrade. Wi-fi signal is low, but is working at least. But the room itself was clean, but missed proper air ventilation unfortunately.
Z.This hostel was a great place to stay in Napier! Usually I am skeptical when staying at hostels...needless to say it only took a matter of minutes before the wonderful staff of Archie’s bunker & central location had me convinced that I wasn’t going to have any issues during my stay. They were very helpful & kind when I first came in. They even offered to carry my bags up the stairs. Not to mention they have a tv with unlimited Netflix access. So I was very happy with every and would stay again if I come back to Napier! 10/10

T.Just spent 3 nights with my wife at Archies. Fun, friendly hostel in a brilliant location. Minute's walk to the waterfront, cafes, town center, night life, information center. If you want something a little different, ask for an internal bunker room where you will get the best night's sleep. Highly recommended.
A.Didn't stay due to Booking.com muckup. Beware though there is no parking. Very limited on street on a first come first served basis. Ask questions before you book.

A.Nice owners, we stay 3 weeks because my boyfriend got a job with owner's help, the stores are close to the hostal... clean facilities and for entertaiment there are free CDs movies and big salon play.
R.Lived in this hostel for 6 months (December 2015- June '16) and would say for community spirit it's the best hostel in Napier with all kinds of crazy characters from all over the world.
Good weekly rates with unlimited WiFi and an amazing manager in Tinika who goes out of her way to help people find work in Hawkes Bay or cleaning for free accommodation.
The main lounge area is massive with a big TV, pool table (so many memories!) and a pleasant balcony with a BBQ.
The fondness many people have for the Bunker is proven when almost everyone who has stayed here comes back at some point in the future, as will I!
